Zi Yan sat in the backseat of a sleek black car, staring at the bright screen of her phone. Her public statement had already set the internet on fire. People were talking. The tide was shifting.

But she knew that words alone weren't enough. She needed proof.

And that was exactly what Lu Yichen had promised to provide.

The man sitting beside her was calm, his long fingers tapping against the armrest as he read through some documents. He looked completely uninterested in the storm she had created online.

But Zi Yan knew better.

Lu Yichen never wasted time on things that didn't benefit him. If he was helping her, it meant he had a plan.

She turned to him. "What now?"

Lu Yichen didn't look up. "We watch them panic."

Zi Yan frowned. "You think Guo Bao and Wang Yin will react that fast?"

He finally glanced at her, his lips curling slightly. "They already are."

Zi Yan's phone buzzed.

She looked down. A new headline had just popped up.

Guo Bao responds to Zi Yan's cryptic message: "There's no truth to her words. She's just trying to save face."

Zi Yan clenched her jaw.

So, he wanted to act innocent? Fine. She would make him regret it.

The car pulled up in front of a private club—one of the most exclusive in the city. Only the rich and powerful could enter.

Zi Yan had been here before, attending parties with Guo Bao, believing she was part of this world.

Now, she was here for a different reason.

As she stepped inside, heads turned. Some people whispered behind their hands. Others stared openly.

She ignored them.

Lu Yichen walked beside her, his presence powerful enough to part the crowd like a blade.

At the far end of the lounge, a man sat waiting for them.

Chen Tao—one of the biggest entertainment reporters in the industry. He was ruthless when it came to digging out scandals, but he was also smart. He wouldn't post a story without solid proof.

Zi Yan sat across from him, Lu Yichen taking the seat next to her.

Chen Tao smiled, but his eyes were sharp. "Miss Zi, you have something interesting for me?"

Zi Yan slid a flash drive across the table.

"Everything you need is in there," she said coolly.

Chen Tao picked it up, raising an eyebrow. "And what exactly am I looking at?"

Lu Yichen leaned back, his voice lazy but firm. "A video of Guo Bao sneaking into Wang Yin's hotel suite the night before Zi Yan's scandal broke."

Chen Tao's eyes widened slightly. He looked at Zi Yan. "You're saying he cheated first?"

Zi Yan smiled coldly. "I'm not saying anything. The facts are."

Chen Tao chuckled. "If this is real, it'll be the biggest entertainment scandal of the year."

He pocketed the flash drive. "I'll confirm the footage. If it's legitimate, expect fireworks by tomorrow morning."

Zi Yan nodded. "Make sure it spreads everywhere."

Chen Tao grinned. "Oh, don't worry. By the time I'm done, even their families will see it."

That night, Zi Yan sat alone in her apartment, waiting.

Her hands were curled around a cup of tea, but she didn't drink it. Her thoughts were racing too fast.

She had dreamed of revenge for days, but now that the moment was here, she felt restless.

Would it work? Would the public believe it?

Her phone buzzed.

She grabbed it quickly.

Breaking News: Guo Bao caught sneaking into Wang Yin's suite the night before Zi Yan's scandal!

Her breath caught in her throat.

She scrolled through the article. Screenshots from the video were plastered everywhere. The internet was exploding.

"Wait, so Guo Bao was cheating first???"

"This guy dumped Zi Yan like trash, but he was the real liar???"

"Wang Yin is a homewrecker!"

"I feel bad for hating Zi Yan now. She was framed!"

Zi Yan's hands shook slightly. Not from fear—but from satisfaction.

She wasn't the villain anymore.

She was the victim.

And now, it was their turn to suffer.

Meanwhile, in the Guo family mansion, chaos had erupted.

Guo Bao threw his phone across the room, his face twisted in rage. "How the hell did this get out?!"

Wang Yin sat on the couch, pale and trembling. "I—I don't know!"

His father stormed into the room, his face dark with fury. "You fool! Do you know how many calls I've received today? You've ruined the Guo family name!"

Guo Bao gritted his teeth. "It's a lie! Someone must have edited the video!"

His father slammed a newspaper onto the table. "The whole city has seen it! How are you going to explain this?!"

Guo Bao's stomach twisted.

This wasn't supposed to happen.

Zi Yan was supposed to be the one suffering, not him.

Not like this.

Then his phone buzzed again.

He grabbed it, hoping it was someone offering a solution.

Instead, it was a message from one of his brand sponsors.

"Due to the recent scandal, we have decided to cut ties with you. We cannot risk our brand's reputation."

Guo Bao's vision blurred with rage.

More messages flooded in. His endorsement deals were falling apart.

Everything was crumbling.

And it was all because of Zi Yan.

Zi Yan turned off her phone and leaned back against the couch.

She felt… lighter.

For the first time in days, she could breathe.

A slow smile stretched across her lips.

She wasn't done yet.

This was only the beginning.
