" Rina! Can you help me pick up a gift for women. I'm not too good when it comes to women's stuff," Harim asked as soon as he came home.

A smile spread on my face thinking he was going to gift it to me.

" Sure."

I helped him pick up the gift. But he never gave it to me. He asked me for this favour several more times but I was not the receiver.

" For whom are you buying gifts," I asked picking up pink branded bag and looking through it.

" For female workers of my company to boost their moral. You know it's a trend now a days to take care of company workers to get better results. About male workers I know a little bit so I buy them myself."

I gave up on the hope that he was going to gift them to me.

I entered a restaurant with my friend Willa and saw him having a dinner with his secretary.

" Harim you said you were going for a meeting?" I asked turning to him.

" Yeah we just finished the meeting. I was hungry so I thought we should eat something before leaving," he said standing up, " Do you want to join us?"

His secretary rolled her eyes and continued eating.

" No it's okay, I'm here with my friend. Eat well," I said and walked to an empty table.

I looked at them finishing dinner and walking out to his car and the car drove off.

After two months I found a diamond ring in his coat.

A radiant grin accompanied my face as I asked, " Why did you buy a diamond ring?"

" You already found it," he said looking at me reading my expressions, " I was going to surprise you."

He walked towards me, took the ring and slipped it on my slender finger, " Since you already know about it, I will just give it to you."

I looked at the ring and my heart filled with love for him and I kissed him on his lips, " Thank you honey."

A week later he came with a gold ring," Rina I thought you work a lot so diamond ring is a little bit dangerous to wear. I bought this gold ring so that you can wear it without any bother."

I liked him caring about me and returned the diamond ring.

One day he came to my office.

" Rina I need to get the deal with a company. I need a huge some of money. Can you help me please?"

" Sure, tell me the amount I will ask my secretary to send it to you," I replied as I pressed the buzzer to call in my secretary.

Later that evening I asked my secretary to book a room in our company hotel called Maria hotel.

" It's fully booked by Harim Warden."

Her reply snatched my soul and I asked, " Who?"

" Harim Warden," she repeated.

I stood up snatched keys from her hands and walked out. I sat in the car and drove it to Maria hotel at full speed.

I entered the hotel which was decorated with flowers and walked to the desk.

" Which room?" I asked breathing heavily.

" Miss Rina__"

" Which room?" I growled.

" Room number Ten."

Her reply prompted me to grab keys from her desk for room number Ten and I turned around to walk to the rooms on first floor.

I opened the door and saw Harim having sex with his secretary. My eyes became teary. I threw the keys on the floor and walked out. I ran through the alley, settled into the car and drove off my car without any destination. I stopped my car on the side of the road and started crying.

I came back at the dawn and saw him sitting at the sofa waiting for me. He stood up to talk to me.

" Don't you dare to say a word . I don't want to listen to you," I said as I entered the room and threw his cushion out, " you sleep outside today."

In the morning I prepared my own breakfast, didn't wake him and went to office.

When I came back I saw him to welcome me at the door.

" How comes he came back this early from the office. Doesn't his office clock off late?" I thought as I walked to the living room and saw his parents sitting there.

" Are you back from work," his mother asked with a bright smile.

Later I came to know that they came to fix the date for our wedding.

" Isn't this too sudden," I asked looking at them puzzled.

" It's not my sweetheart. Both of you have stable jobs and have been dating for a long time. Now it's time for you two to tie the knot," his mother said as she held onto my hands warmly.

I wasn't able to say anything and just kept listening to them talking. They fixed the date on their own.

When they were gone I turned to Harim, " What do you mean by that?"

He came closer and held onto my hands, " Rina! What I did is unforgivable, but I can't live without you at all. You are my everything."

" Yes I admit I was blinded by momentary desire but I came to realise that you are the only one in my heart. I don't want to hurt you anymore. That's why we should get married so that I don't wander around and only belong to you," tears wrapped his eyes and he started crying.

He hugged me and I wasn't able to push him away.

My parents found out about the cheating incident by hotel employees.

" Rina darling he is not a good match for you," my mom voice sounded desperate on the phone call.

" Mom but I love him, I just can't leave him. I thought about leaving him but I'm too scared on the thought that I will not be able to see him again."

" Mom we are actually getting married. Please mom can't you just support my love life."

" What? You are getting married to him? Go ahead and don't come here crawling after getting hurt," My mom hung up.
