Rise of the Chaos Goblin

Chapter 5: A giant, affectionate pet

A few days had passed since Asher summoned the Mutated Stingreaver Ant Queen, Cybele.

Cybele had been quietly expanding her nest, digging gently underground and laying eggs without pause.

However, his plan to level up by killing Stingreaver ants again hit a snag. To his dismay, he couldn't find any. It seemed the ants had changed their routes.

With little to do, Asher passed his days drinking milk, which was a surprisingly comforting routine, and getting to know the goblins around him. Now that he could speak, he could engage in conversations and gather more information about the cave's inhabitants.

He learned that his mother, Sana, was one of five goblin women living in the cave. Each woman had one child, and Asher was the only boy among them. Raon was the other boy, a little older than him. The rest of the children were three girls, Kiko, Risu, Emi were all about his age.

Asher also discovered that all of these goblins were his step-siblings. He wasn't too surprised by this—

What struck him more was the story his mother told him: Their father had gone on a hunt a few days ago but had yet to return. This absence had placed an additional burden on his mothers, who was left with the task of hunting while also managing the caring for the children.

Asher had barely seen his other mothers, who only returned to the cave after long hunting trips. Their need for food was constant, and their absence left Sana responsible for guarding the kids.

Right now, Asher was lying on top of his mother, Sana, as he usually did, playfully twesting her breasts. He had grown a lot recently, now resembling a two-year-old human child, and was able to walk on two legs and use his limbs more effectively. This made it easier for him to twist and play with Sana's nipples, something that brought him great joy.

Sana, for her part, remained still with a flushed face. She didn't say anything, but Asher could tell that she was uncomfortable. Despite this, he continued to play with her breasts, appreciating the fact that she was allowing him to do so.

"You like mama's breasts, don't you, Ash?" Sana asked breathlessly, her voice strained.

"Mother, your breasts are so soft and squishy," Ashar said, his voice filled with awe and curiosity. "I can't stop playing with them."

Sana's breath hitched as her son's deft fingers found a particularly sensitive spot. "Yes, my dear. They are all yours to play with," she replied, her voice strained from the intense pleasure.

In the goblin society, there were few moral standards. Even though Sana found her son's behavior unusual, she didn't mind Asher clinging to her all day or groping her boobs whenever he got the chance. In fact, she saw it as a sign of his love for her.

Ashar continued his playful exploration, his fingers dancing over his mother's areolas, tugging and rolling her nipples between his fingers. Sana's body temperature continued to rise, her breath coming in short, sharp bursts as her son's touch sent waves of pleasure coursing through her.

"Mother, do you like it when I do this?" Ashar asked, tweaking his mother's nipples with just the right amount of pressure to drive her wild.

Sana couldn't speak, she could only nod her head in approval. Her thighs rubbed together, creating small sparks in her core. She couldn't remember the last time she had felt such intense pleasure.

Realizing his actions weren't being stopped, Ashar grew bolder, though his heart pounded wildly. He climbed up, positioning himself over his mother, and pressed his lips to hers. Sana stiffened slightly—her hand gripping his shoulder—but didn't shove him off. Encouraged, he slipped his tongue into her mouth, half-expecting her to snap at him any second.

Sana was taken aback; she couldn't understand why her son was putting his tongue in her mouth. As a goblin, she didn't know about kisses. But she felt oddly good about the sensation, and after a long, lewd kiss, Asher broke away, a trail of saliva lingering between them.

Sana didn't know where her son had learned it, but she trusted him since it didn't feel too bad.

"We should wake up; it's already late in the morning," she said, making an excuse to escape his strange advances for now, as he was making her feel quite hot down there.

Asher watched as his mother retreated back to the entrance with an amused expression. He didn't stop her—she had her hands full looking after the other goblin children. At this point, they were about the equivalent of two-year-old human toddlers, which meant they were hyperactive and always looking for an opportunity to sneak out of the cave whenever possible.

Left alone, Asher pondered what to do.

"Mother will be guarding the entrance all day until the other goblins return... I should pay a visit to Cybele."

With that in mind, he made his way to the corner of the cave, where Cybele's nest entrance was hidden. Carefully, he removed the pile of stones and dried bones, revealing a small opening just big enough for his tiny body to slip through.

The tunnel was dark, with no natural source of light, but Asher's vision was sharp, allowing him to see everything as clearly as if it were daylight.

As he ventured further inside, he quickly realized that the passageway had expanded significantly. The deeper he went, the wider the tunnels became, surprising him with their sheer size.

"This… this is huge! Cybele really outdid herself," he murmured, amazed.

The paths had grown large enough for a full-grown human to walk through comfortably, which meant Cybele had been working much faster than he had expected.

Soon, Asher encountered a group of ants. They resembled Stingreaver ants, but unlike the tiny fist-sized ones he had previously massacred, these ants were a foot long—almost the size of cats.

At first, Asher was wary, but when the ants instinctively parted to make way for him, he felt a sense of pride.

'They already recognize me as their leader.'

A noticeably larger ant, about two feet tall, stepped forward and took the initiative to guide him deeper into the nest. Without hesitation, Asher followed. After several twists and turns, they finally arrived at a massive underground chamber.

The room was even bigger than the cave Asher lived in. The uneven walls were lined with crimson eggs, neatly stuck in clusters, waiting to hatch.

At the center of it all, Cybele stood tall.

The moment she saw Asher, her crimson eyes glowed warmly, and she rushed toward him, her large body moving with surprising speed. Before Asher could react, she nuzzled her massive head against his tiny frame, almost knocking him over.

"Whoa, easy, easy!" Asher laughed, stumbling back slightly.

Cybele let out a low, happy chitter, flapping her massive wings in excitement. She lowered her head again, pressing it against Asher's chest, almost like a giant, affectionate pet.

"You've been working hard, huh?" Asher praised, looking around the chamber. "This is amazing! You built all of this so quickly!"

Hearing his praise, Cybele's wings fluttered even faster, producing a soft buzzing sound that almost sounded like purring.

Asher chuckled. "You're actually kind of adorable, huh?"

Cybele let out another pleased chitter, rubbing her head against him once more, as if demanding more praise.

"Alright, alright, I get it!" Asher said, patting her smooth, armored head. "You're incredible, Cybele! Keep up the good work."

Cybele, in response, gently nudged him, wrapping her front claws around him protectively before finally pulling away.

"So, did you make an entrance to the forest like I asked?" Asher turned to Cybele, his voice filled with anticipation.

Cybele let out a familiar chitter, which he had already come to understand as "yes."

"Good. Alright, take me there!"

Cybele flapped her wings excitedly, then turned and began leading him through the underground tunnels.

From the very beginning, Asher had instructed Cybele to create some hidden exit into the forest, away from their main cave. He knew that as long as his mother was guarding the cave's entrance, sneaking out would be impossible.

This underground passage was his only way out.

Sure, the outside world was dangerous, but Asher couldn't just stay inside the cave forever. He still vividly remembered the sensation of leveling up—the surge of power, the thrill of getting stronger.

And now, with hundreds of ants under his command, he felt far more confident. As long as he remained cautious, he should be able to handle whatever lurked outside.

After several twists and turns, they finally arrived at the secret exit.

The entrance was incredibly narrow, barely wide enough for Asher's small frame to squeeze through.

"Huh… kinda tight," he muttered, inspecting the passage.

But the design made sense.

With their small numbers, the ants couldn't afford to attract the attention of any strong predators. A larger opening would make it too easy for enemies to find and invade the nest.

'This… this is actually really smart.'
