Rise of the Lustful Evil Monarch (Re)

Chapter 241: Imperial Blade Hall

Third Person's POV

She ate with a refined grace that befitted a guest who knew her limits.

Time passed swiftly and within just half an hour, all that remained of the once-mighty crocodile was a husk of stripped bones and was a testament to the feast that had taken place.

Just as the girls thought the meal had reached its natural conclusion, Velcy grabbed one of the thick sturdy rib bones of the poor croc and effortlessly crushed it between her sharp teeth as she greedily slurped the rich marrow within.

With practiced efficiency, she ensured that nothing went to waste.

The orc woman returned and a broad smile graced her face though inwardly she was in awe.

The sheer heroic display of consumption these two had just exhibited left her speechless.

Never had she seen anyone, not even the strongest eaters of her kind finish off an entire Grade Three Infernal Blood Crocodile in such a short span of time.

Even among orcs, a meal like this was a challenge as the potent heat infused within the flesh could sear the throats and burn the stomachs of weaker individuals.

It required a strong constitution to eat and digest it properly.

Yet these two… they had devoured it as effortlessly as one would a simple roasted fowl.

Velcy patted her now slightly rounded stomach and wore a satisfied expression of pure bliss as her soft white tail flicked lazily behind her.

Ethan exhaled and suppressed the lingering heat radiating within him.

Showing an air of nonchalance, he placed the remaining twenty-five high-tier dark elemental crystals on the table and completed the payment.

As he rose to leave, the girls silently followed suit.

However, just as they were about to exit, the orc woman suddenly called out, her voice carrying across the hall.

"Please wait, dear customer!"

Ethan's steps halted as he turned slightly and raised a single brow as she swiftly moved to block his passage.

His eyes flickered with faint irritation but he remained composed as she reached into the pouch at her waist and retrieved a small, dull gray badge.

She offered it to him with both hands and her posture was one of practiced respect.

"This is a token of appreciation for our premium customers," she explained with a hint of pride.

"With this badge, you can enjoy a ten percent discount at any of our branches for future meals.

However, please note that the badge will only remain valid for two more visits, and after that, it will expire."

Ethan didn't respond immediately and merely reached out to take the badge between his fingers and rolled it in his palm with mild curiosity.

The emblem of a fierce orc's head was etched into the surface and upon closer inspection, he could sense faint traces of magic imbued within it.

He gave a small nod of acknowledgment and pocketed the token.

Without another word, he turned toward the exit and led the way as the group silently departed from the bustling orc restaurant.

Outside, the sky had fully darkened, and the Blood Moon now hung high, casting an eerie crimson glow over the city.

The shadows stretched long and deep and blended seamlessly with the ominous yet strangely beautiful nightscape.

They moved in silence and followed the elf Aurae as she expertly navigated through the labyrinth of twisting alleys and bustling streets.

The shining Velcy attracted many gazes but soon she slowly dimmed and went back to her normal scarred state.

The lively and chaotic energy of the market never seemed to wane and with each turn, the air subtly shifted.

Gradually, the riotous atmosphere of the common market gave way to an entirely different setting.

The dense crowds of traders and hawkers thinned and were replaced by a wide and ambient-lit boulevard lined with grand and stately buildings.

"This is the Commercial District of the city," Aurae explained in a steady and composed voice,

"The chaotic market we just passed through serves as a divide between the Administrative District—where the governing institutions and foundational establishments of society reside, and this place, which is the lifeline of the city's economy.

The Adventurer Guild's Vord City branch also existed in the Administrative district."

Her gaze swept over the district and her expression was calm yet knowing.

"Here, you will find high-tier magical apparel shops, treasure pavilions, massive weapon emporiums, arcane potion merchants, and renowned alchemical stores.

This is where the finest artisans and crafters conduct their trade and supply the city's elites with rare and powerful goods."

She turned to Ethan and gestured toward a particularly grand, three-story establishment standing before them.

"Since your saber is a Grade Three rare and elite weapon, this is where we will find the custom sheath you require."

Ethan lifted his gaze and took in the structure before him.

It was an architectural marvel constructed from dark red stone.

Its facade was adorned with intricate glass panes that shimmered under the Blood Moon's glow.

The entrance was wide and imposing and was flanked by armored guards who stood with unwavering vigilance as their polished weapons gleamed under the district's luminescent streetlamps.

Above the doorway, an ornate signboard carved in Aegaryn script loomed and its finely etched letters exuded an air of prestige and authority.

Ethan's eyes flickered over the inscription and he read the bold words aloud in his mind.

"The Imperial Blade Hall."

The name alone carried weight like a silent declaration of the craftsmanship and legacy contained within.

With a nod toward Aurae, Ethan stepped forward and led the group toward the grand entrance.

As they walked, Ethan glanced at Aurae and spoke through a deliberate sound transmission.

'Is this establishment run by the Royal Ignisfel Lineage of this empire?'

Aurae's eyes widened slightly at the unexpected mental communication but she quickly composed herself and responded in kind.

'Yes, young master Eryndor, you guessed correctly.

The Imperial Blade Hall is renowned for its presence in nearly every city within the Empire of the Infernal Sovereignty.'
