Romance and Ninjas: In Naruto With Infinite Skill Points!

Chapter 1: Hyuga Yuuki

In a classroom filled with restless children, a young boy sat silently at the back, stifling a yawn. Seated alone in the last row, his gaze remained fixed on the window, watching raindrops slide down the glass.

Reclining slightly in his chair with an air of quiet indifference, he bore the unmistakable traits of the Hyuga clan. His faded, pupil-less black eyes held a sharp intensity—marked by the traces of mixed blood—yet still carried the legacy of a bloodline steeped in tradition and power. His straight, dark hair framed sharp features, partially concealed by the headband resting firmly on his forehead—a symbol of something he wished to hide. Though young, there was a disciplined stillness to him, as if he carried the weight of an unspoken mission with unwavering resolve.

In the 35th year of Konohagakure, Hyuga Yuuki, the son of a branch clan member who had married an unknown civilian, entered the ninja academy.

Most children would have been excited and curious about their new environment. He couldn't have been more indifferent.

Since the day he was born, his fate had already been sealed. He would live and die for the main clan, and there was nothing he could do about it.

His fingers curled into a fist as he stared at the window, as if the past were reflected in the glass.

The elders had restrained him, forcefully etching the seal onto his forehead, leaving him bloodied and in unbearable pain. The agonizing side effects lasted an entire day, and even after his body recovered, he could still feel the mark—a searing brand, like molten metal pressed against his skin.

Tears threatened to form at the corners of his eyes, but he wiped them away before they could fall.

His father had been just an old man at the time, trying to protect him. The result?

The seal on his father had been activated. The pain was so overwhelming that he died on the spot from a heart attack.

Even now, Yuuki recalled that scene with hatred.

Hyuga main clan... A murderous thought crossed his mind. When he grew stronger, he would find a way to wipe out the scourge of the clan.

Unfortunately, too many things held him back. Though he possessed the Byakugan, it was nothing like the future Princess Hinata's, who could see kilometers ahead with ease.

His own vision was ordinary, barely reaching two hundred meters.

Even with constant training and adaptation, he doubted it would ever extend beyond two or three kilometers in this lifetime.

At this thought, his gaze shifted slightly, settling on the blond-haired boy standing at the front of the class.

Namikaze Minato.

A true genius without equal.

This wasn't something the series had ever mentioned when he read it in his past life, but here, in this world, he had come to learn the truth.

Minato was the last surviving child of the Namikaze clan from the Land of Rivers—a land that had once housed a village nearly as powerful as Konoha. It had even been briefly allied with the Leaf. But just a month before the end of the First Ninja War, that village fell under siege by multiple enemy forces, and the Namikaze clan was wiped out.

As the sole survivor, Minato had naturally been brought back and integrated into the village.

Now that the Land of Rivers no longer existed as an independent power, he was fully accepted as a student and future ninja of Konohagakure.

If only Yuuki possessed even a fraction of Minato's talent—then forget merely dismantling the Hyuga clan in the future, even reaching the heights of a super Kage-level figure wouldn't be impossible.

Even now, he had a simple plan: approach Minato, befriend him, secure a place on his future team, and align himself with the Hokage faction.

By leveraging that connection, he could gain access to countless techniques, forge ties with Lady Tsunade, and eventually acquire the Sage Mode of Shikkotsu Forest—which he strongly suspected was the very same Sage Mode once mastered by Senju Hashirama.

Based on Lady Katsuyu's abilities, this Sage Mode likely enhanced energy recovery, healing, and the potency of Ninjutsu.

That would explain why Hashirama could maintain it indefinitely. Among all Sage Modes developed so far, this one appeared to excel most at regeneration, meaning it could be replenished mid-battle without interruption—unlike the Toad Sage Mode, which required meditation to recharge.

With the full support of the Hokage faction and the unmatched endurance of Sage Mode, who would be able to stop him?

Just as he was lost in thought, a ninja entered the classroom, interrupting the lesson.

"Everyone, sit down, please. We have an announcement to make," Okaru-sensei said, gesturing for the students to settle down.

"Today, we have a new student joining our class. She's from the Land of Whirlpools." With a smile, he turned to the girl beside him.

Just as he was about to introduce her, the girl suddenly lifted her head and spoke, her voice carrying a thick accent reminiscent of people from the countryside. Nervousness made her words tremble slightly.

"I'm Uzumaki Kushina, dattebane!"

A sudden silence filled the classroom as the students exchanged glances. Then, after a brief pause, laughter erupted, and whispers spread like wildfire.

"Hahaha, who's that imp?"

"Look, why is it so red?"

"It's so ugly, isn't it?"

"Heh, it's so weird!"

Her cheeks flushed crimson, and tears welled up at the corners of her eyes.

Observing the scene, Hyuga Yuuki was momentarily stunned. His gaze lingered on her fair face, thoughts swirling in a way he couldn't quite describe. Even with his limited knowledge of Naruto, he still recognized her—Uzumaki Kushina, the future mother of Uzumaki Naruto.

He had never watched that far into the series. His father hadn't allowed him to spend too much time on the computer before his sudden passing in an accident. But even so, he had picked up bits and pieces about her from shorts and social media posts.

So, this is what she looks like in real life? She's... actually really pretty.

Lost in thought, he failed to notice her stomping her feet.

Then, in a burst of anger, she declared loudly for all to hear:

"I... I'll become this village's first female Hokage!"

At that moment, Minato also stood up, his bright blue eyes filled with determination. With a confident smile, he declared, "I want to become a great Hokage who will be admired by everyone in the village!"

Watching the scene unfold, something ignited within Yuuki—a fire he hadn't realized was there. Almost without thinking, he shot to his feet, the words escaping his lips instinctively.

"Me too!"

A brief silence followed as all eyes turned to him. Feeling the weight of their stares, he flushed slightly but refused to back down. His gaze shifted to Kushina, burning with an unshakable resolve.

"I too have a goal. I will become the village's strongest sword, and I will change the Hyuga clan—forever!"

Though he hadn't planned to speak, the words had tumbled out, revealing the deepest ambition of his life before he even had time to process it.

As the classroom murmured in surprise, his eyes moved to Minato, his expression shifting into something more intense. A silent challenge passed between them, his look all but saying:

'Bring it on.'

This turned out to be a big mistake.

...

A few days had passed, and the class had grown accustomed to seeing the once cold and unapproachable Hyuga Yuuki arriving with bruises covering his face and injuries scattered across his body.

The moment the Hyuga clan elders heard about his declaration, they had punished him relentlessly, subjecting him to a full day of isolation. Yet, when he finally emerged, it wasn't over—waiting for him were the sons and daughters of the clan, their expressions filled with contempt.

Every day, they forced him into fights until his entire body ached. They never stopped.

It was always in the name of "cultivating the next generation."

Yuuki scoffed in anger, his fists clenching so tightly that the veins on his arms bulged. Taking a deep breath, he committed their faces and names to memory. One day... One day, he would make them all pay.

The teacher had tried to intervene, but how could those old bastards—their ears clogged with their own shit—listen to reason? They acquiesced to it instead, reinforcing the rigid doctrine of the clan. There was no space in the Hyuga Clan for dissidents or rebellious thoughts.

Yet, he endured.

Day after day, he followed his routine without fail.

Unlike his peers, Hyuga Yuuki had already experienced death once personally, and even after that he had also watched his father die before his very eyes. That alone had forged a discipline far beyond his years.

While others wasted time, he trained.

Whether it was the clan's taijutsu, physical conditioning, or relentless study of the academy's books, he devoted himself entirely.

Because for the sake of his goal—he would endure.

He would suffer. He would be humiliated. He would push forward through every ounce of agony.

And one day, when they least expected it... he would strike back.

In one fell swoop, he would take everything he deserved—and more.

But he wasn't the only one facing troubles.

...

During lunch break, Uzumaki Kushina found herself surrounded by a group of classmates—the kind who preyed on the weak and cowered before the strong.

"Oi, oi, I finally know what to call you—Tomato!"

The moment the words left the boy's mouth, laughter erupted from the crowd. Fingers pointed at her, eyes filled with amusement at her expense.

Yuuki watched.

For some reason—one even he couldn't quite understand—anger welled up inside him.

Yes, Kushina was arrogant. She had boldly declared her dream to become Hokage despite being an outsider. But she had never actually done anything to any of them.

So why?

Why were they picking on her?

"Haha, yeah! From now on, we'll call you Tomato!" One of them shoved her, making her stumble, barely keeping her balance.

"Pfft, it's true! She's got a fat, round face and red hair—just like a tomato!"

"Hahaha! Who's ever heard of a tomato becoming Hokage? That'll never happen!"

The insults kept coming, growing harsher as the kids surrounded her.

"I hate tomatoes. I never eat them."

"Yeah, who even likes tomatoes? They're disgusting! I always throw them out of my salad!"

"Me too! A tomato that everyone hates will never be accepted as Hokage! Hahaha!"

Their laughter filled the classroom, loud and cruel, their jeering voices echoing so much that even other students outside their group chuckled at the spectacle.

But Yuuki—he had heard enough.

Something inside him snapped.

Before he even realized it, he was already on his feet.

With a sudden, forceful motion, his palm struck the table.

BANG!

The sharp sound shattered the laughter in an instant, startling the classmates nearby.

The room fell into silence.

"You guys, tell me your names—immediately!"

Hyuga Yuuki's voice rang out, sharp and unwavering, as he stepped between Kushina and the bullies.

For a second, both the girl and her tormentors were stunned.

"Huh?"

"Hey, who do you think you are, anyway?" one of them sneered.

Yuuki didn't bother responding. Instead, he grabbed the collar of the boy who spoke, lifting him clean off the ground before slapping him across the face.

SMACK!

Gasps echoed through the room as the boy's head snapped to the side.

"You're sullying our village with your words!" Yuuki's voice was filled with righteous fury. "Kushina-san is a guest of the village, and all you do is insult her! You can humiliate yourself however much you want, but how dare you treat a beautiful girl like her this way!?"

The boy writhed in Yuuki's grip, trying to break free.

"D-do you realize—"

Yuuki didn't let him finish.

"Do you even understand what you're saying?" His eyes burned with intensity. "Every bit of filth coming out of your mouth today is the same as insulting Lord Hokage—the very man who personally invited her here!"

Kushina's fair face flushed red as her blue gem-like eyes stared at Yuuki.

The boy's mouth opened and closed, but no words came out. He pointed at Yuuki, face red with humiliation and barely contained rage.

"Y-you...!"

"What? Cat got your tongues?" Yuuki scoffed, releasing his grip. The boy stumbled backward, rubbing his sore cheek.

Yuuki's gaze swept over the rest of them.

"Since you're all so confident—stepping on someone like it's nothing—then surely, you wouldn't mind practicing a few moves with me in the backyard, right?"

The classroom went deathly silent.

Then—

Ding!

A strange sound rang in his ears, sudden and unfamiliar.

Before he could even process what it was, a translucent screen appeared before him.

[Congratulations! You have changed the plot by defending Kushina and unlocked skill points!]

Yuuki's breath caught in his throat.

What... the hell?

"A-arrogant! Just because you're a Hyuga, you think you can beat all seven of us?"

One of the bullies spat, his voice laced with anger and false bravado.

"Yeah! Look at you, you're just a mixed-blood! Everyone knows the clan abandoned you!"

Another chimed in, their words growing more venomous.

"Ptui! It's because you grew up without a father, isn't it? Otherwise, why would you be dumb enough to challenge us all?"

The insults struck like knives, but Yuuki didn't flinch. He had already endured far worse than this.

"Idiot, come on! Let's see who's still standing at the end!"

The leader of the bullies stepped forward, glaring into Yuuki's eyes, his stance brimming with false confidence.

But Yuuki only smirked.

He wasn't the one who should be afraid.
