Chapter 126: Monster Raid on 14th Dark Pillar
Time passed so quickly, Nathan gave some of his inventory items to the 13th Squad. Some of these items consisted of HP Potion, MP Elixir, and temporary strength enhancing items.
For Sara and the others, these items were quite useful for her. However, it was different for Arthur. All the items Nathan gave him were useless to him because of two things: Regen and personal power.
He got HP and MP regen from the basic buff given by Thalenia, which was enough for Arthur. As for his own strength, Arthur was confident that his strength could be more than the temporary strength enhancing items. Enjoy new adventures from My Virtual Library Empire
Since the raid started in the morning, they used the time at night to get a good rest. Nathan arrived an hour before the raid opened, along with Silva and raid team captain Sky Sword 14th.
Sara met them. Nathan actually wanted to help Arthur get on the floor. But because of his duties as captain here, Nathan couldn't do more.
He could only wish Arthur and the 13th squad the best. They deserved the best of what they had planned.

Arthur got the information panel, which read information about the monster raid in Dark Pillar being open.
Arthur stepped closer to Sara who was preparing her equipment, the woman also got the same message as Arthur.
"Are you ready?" asked Arthur, Sara nodded yes.
After everything was ready, the 13th Squad stepped away from the 14th Sky Sword base. They walked together with Arthur and Sara at the front, followed by Karen, Mona, Thalenia, and Miki at the back.
Arthur saw that it wasn't just the 13th Squad that had come to join the monster raid, but raid teams from other groups had also come to participate.
The young man had no problem with that at all, but he still had to be vigilant because there were bad things that could happen to them if Arthur and the 13th squad were not careful.
The captain of the Sky Sword 14th raid team, Luis, came to the front of the Dark Pillar. The man met with Arthur, the two shook hands while asking about each other's readiness.
Arthur clearly said that squad 13 was much more prepared than before. Luis was relieved. He again offered his help to Arthur, but Arthur smiled and refused Luis' offer politely.
"It's okay. We're confident we can handle this monster raid," Arthur replied.
"All right. You guys seem to be more experienced about this than we are. Take care, Arthur."
Arthur nodded. Luis stepped away from squad 13 to enter one of the 20 open Dark Pillar gates. Arthur saw many adventurers from other groups enter the Dark Pillar one by one.
"Let's go."
Sara and the others stepped inside with Arthur right beside her. Right after squad 13 stepped through the Dark Pillar gate, the system panel reappeared in front of Arthur and the others.

Although the information says that the monster level is in the range of level 96-99, but as usual, the floor boss level is always above the monster level. There was a possibility that the floor boss' level was at level 100.
AAAKKH!
Arthur stopped his steps for a moment when he heard a scream coming from somewhere else, a man's voice that sounded like he was moaning in pain.
"It's just starting, why is someone already screaming in pain?" asked Mona, frightened.
"Chances are, the monsters in this raid are high-level and difficult for them to defeat," said Sara, discouraging Mona, but Karen was in high spirits.
Arthur didn't want to get them hurt or in trouble. He opened the map from the 14th floor raid, given to him by Silva as a reward for Arthur's help.
[Map]
[Map used]
[Dark Pillar floor: 14]
[Number of intersections: 45]
[Number of monsters: 60]
[Area: 300x300m]
As usual, the area of the Dark Pillar was always large and full of monsters. Although the number of monsters was less than 100, it was undeniable that their strength was higher than what should be fought.
The maze map appeared in front of Arthur. He ordered the map to show the best direction to the floor boss room.
The navigation system worked, a green arrow appeared above the map giving directions to Arthur and the members of squad 13.
From what the map shows, Arthur needs to pass through 10 intersections to reach the floor boss room. The difficulty level increased, without the map, it might take months for Arthur and squad 13 to reach the floor boss room.
Sara stepped closer to Arthur, curious about what the man was doing. Sara gasped, not expecting that Arthur had a map of the 14th Dark Pillar maze.
"You have the map?"
"Yes. Silva gave it to me."
The woman looked more carefully, out of 10 intersections, at least Squad 13 would encounter 15 maze monsters.
Sara swallowed her saliva deeply, curious whether or not she could defeat those fifteen maze monsters.
"Don't worry. I'll help you," Arthur replied, making Sara feel relieved.
They resumed their journey. At the first intersection, they had to take the route to the right and met two monsters there. Arthur led the direction of squad 13 because he had the map.
After turning the corner, Arthur faintly heard the sounds of fighting and magic explosions from the turn in front of him. The man asked the others to be careful for any eventuality.
Peeking out from the direction of the turn, Arthur saw a group of adventurers fighting fiercely against a white scorpion monster. The monster's attack was a blast of freezing ice.
'Basically, his element is water. However, he can maximize the use of two elements well,' Arthur explained.
The group fighting against the White Scorpion monster wasn't a large group. They were just a small group settled on this floor. However, after Arthur took a closer look at their uniforms, he felt familiar with them.
It was Niam, someone from the Snow Peak group. Never did Arthur expect his encounter with Niam to happen again, of course under different circumstances.
"Niam?" asked Arthur.
"Do you know him?" asked Sara.
"We met one time, but only briefly."
"Do we need to save them?" asked Sara.
"We have to save them!" said Karen.
Karen, without prompting, leaped forward while bringing her flaming sword out forcefully. Arthur was stunned, inevitably they had to follow where Karen went.
Niam turned his head, he gasped to see the person who came was Arthur. Niam suddenly asked why Arthur had come, of course Arthur would answer without hesitation.
"I will go to the destination of this route, of course I have to kill this monster."
"Thank you, Arthur."
