Ruler's Awakening: Inheritor of the SSS-Rank Dimensional Talent

Chapter 130: Another Group Defeated

After clearing the remaining three monsters, Arthur and the 13th squad arrived outside the floor boss room.

The place was one of the purposes of the 13th squad on this raid; other groups were also planning to raid.

They didn't wave any flags to show their group identity. Still, Arthur could see a significant difference between the two groups. They seemed to be wearing uniforms of different colors —red and black.

The 13th squad, wearing white uniforms with navy blue patterns, caught their attention. The color of the uniform was exactly the same as the uniform of Sky Sword, the ruling group on the 14th floor.

"Didn't they say they didn't want to challenge the floor boss?" asked the raid team captain of the red uniformed group. Stay connected through My Virtual Library Empire

"Maybe they had changed their plans," another captain from a different group replied.

Arthur sensed what the two groups were thinking. The man stopped walking right in between them, building tension.

Both groups soon realized that Arthur's uniform was the Sky Sword uniform. He even invited Arthur and the members of the 13th squad to start the floor boss challenge early. The man smiled at their clumsy response.

'They're really afraid of the Sky Sword group on this floor,' Arthur replied, occasionally watching their faces closely.

"No. You two come early, I won't take your queue," Arthur said.

He glanced back briefly. The battle against the three monsters was enough to make Sara and the others exhausted. They were seen sitting near a black-trunked tree, tall and shady.

There, Thalenia and Mona helped Sara and Karen recover. If Arthur accepted the two groups' request, Sara and the others would be injured due to their lack of health.

"We'll wait. Good luck to you both."

Arthur stepped away from them with a wave, walking over to Sara and the others to join them under the leafy and shady tree.

Thalenia's presence there helped the 13th Squad to recover faster. Although the regen to Arthur was split, Arthur didn't mind as long as it was used to help Sara and Karen recover.

"Who are they?" asked Sara, Arthur shook his head.

"I dunno. They didn't tell me the name of their group. Still, what is certain is that they are not from the three major groups," Arthur replied.

"Yes, I'm sure they're not part of those two groups."

The shaking on the ground made Arthur and the others turn their eyes to the floor boss room door.

"There's a group that just finished the boss challenge," Sara said.

"Or worse, the floor boss has destroyed them."

The door to the floor boss room was wide open; not a single group had stepped out. Arthur got up from his seat and looked straight to the side at the open boss room door.

That's right! If the group failed to kill the floor boss, they would be sadistically killed. This time, none of the group members survived the floor boss's challenge.

For cooldown, the floor boss takes about half an hour to do so. During this period, the other groups can register first.

But, seeing the organs of the other groups scattered on the floor of the boss room made one group's guts shrink.

The group in red uniforms chose to leave to save their lives, unlike those in black uniforms who decided to register.

Arthur smiled. It was the decision of their group captain whether they would challenge the floor boss or not. Arthur could only wait until the 13th squad's turn came.

Sara looked towards the door of the boss's room, which was still open, faintly witnessing those horrors. Arthur blocked Sara's line of sight by saying she didn't need to worry about that.

"Are you afraid we'll all end up like them?" asked Arthur. Sara swallowed her saliva deeply while clearing her throat in response.

"You have nothing to worry about."

Seeing Arthur's confidence suddenly made Sara feel relieved. She believed that Arthur would not drag her and the others to the brink of death —so far, never.

The door closed by itself when the cooldown time left 15 minutes. It seemed that the system inside the boss room was cleaning up the bodies of the adventurers.

The system panel outside the gate showed that the floor boss challenger had registered. The captain of the black uniform group looked back, staring at Arthur with a worried expression printed on his face.

Arthur looked at him. It was certain that he was just as scared as the red group. Still, there was no turning back after registration. They had only two choices, win against the floor boss or let their captain die to escape.

Now, the captain's life was in the hands of the floor boss or his members. Arthur could only wait and wish them the best.

It didn't take long for the door to the boss's room to open again, with all the members of the black uniform group lying dead.

Arthur got up from his seat; it hadn't been half an hour, but they had been soundly defeated. Sara and Karen followed; they felt the same uneasiness.

"They just came in. Why is the door already open? Are they dead?" asked Sara.

"There's only one way to find out."

Arthur invited the rest of the 13th squad to go to the front door of the boss room. The door was still open, but the registration system panel displayed on the wall showed no barrier between the outer and inner areas of the boss room.

The man glanced forward at the transparent system panel and witnessed how the black uniform group was defeated terribly.

Almost all of its members' bodies were split apart; some were trampled to the point of being crushed. The sight made Sara and Mona sick to their stomachs while Karen trembled with fear.

Arthur had seen such things, even more horrible slaughter than this. That didn't make Arthur's guts any less shaky.

The man glanced to the side, asking Sara to hurry up with the registration of the challenger team. Sara's reverie was broken when Arthur kept calling her name; Sara understood her task.

[The team can leave only once the boss is dead]

"Giant Yeti?" asked Sara.

Arthur turned his head to the side, looked at Sara, and saw the system panel before her. On the panel, the man read the name of the floor boss monster they were about to face, a Yeti.

"Yeti? Isn't that a mythological monster from the Himalayan peaks?" asked Sara towards Arthur.

"Yes. It is," replied Arthur.

After registration ended, Arthur saw that the cooldown had expired after waiting for about 30 minutes. The door opened again, and the invisible wall separating the two places began to disappear.

The 13th squad stepped into the floor boss room and saw that the place was clear of scattered human organs.

The figure of a Yeti monster appeared with all-white fur covering its entire body, its size three times larger than human size,

"Level 100 with 150000 HP?" surprised Sara.

'I'll beat it. This floor boss is easy to beat, like the bosses I've defeated before.'
