Chapter 84: Authority Flag Control
"The Flag of the Authority? You still trying to go after that thing?!" snapped Harry, Bright laughing wickedly.
"Of course I am. With the flag, I can control everyone in the city!" said Bright.
"You won't get it even if you kill us."
Harry, Andrew, and Luke prepared to unleash their talents. Energy fluctuations once again rushed through the area. Bright snapped his fingers, the Dark Legion members disguised in the stands appeared with reddened eyes.
They were murdering the people they encountered. Screams of agony and pain filled the place with no exception. Bright laughed loudly again, feeling satisfied.
'The flag of the Authority? What is that exactly? I don't know anything about it,' Aaron explained.
A Dark Legion member stepped closer to Aaron and Misa. Misa was terrified as she took cover behind Aaron's back, the young man sensing the Dark Legion member was a real threat to his life.
"Hold on tight!" commanded Aaron. Misa nodded.

Aaron's second talent had activated; his steps became as light as a leaf blowing in the wind. With an upward direction, Aaron flew with Misa, hugging him tightly. Misa was shocked while widening her eyes, not expecting that Aaron could fly with his talent.
By being in the sky, he and Misa became difficult for Dark Legion members to kill. Even so, the other Dark Legions shot their magic towards Aaron. Aaron flew quickly to avoid each of their attacks.
Harry raised his eyes. He couldn't hide his surprise to see a mage that could fly without help. He guessed the talent mage had good flying skills.
"I'll handle him. You guys go find the magic circle point of this confining magic," Harry ordered. Andrew and Luke agreed.
Andrew went west, while Luke went east. The two would start their search from there while protecting the city's people who were in danger of their lives. The Great Elder still sat silently, doing nothing but watching the events ahead of him.
"Aren't you gonna help them?" asked Ernest.
"No, I won't. My power is not for violence. After all, the Dark Legion's grudge is only against the three major groups, not the cathedral," replied the Great Elder flatly.
"If the Dark Legion gets the flag of authority, then it's certain that your people will also be controlled," Ernest explained.
"You don't need to worry, Ernest. I have thousands of ways to remove the influence of that thing."
Ernest clicked his tongue; he didn't expect the Great Elder to be so apathetic towards the situation happening in the Arena of Gallant. Ernest's palms were clenched tightly, annoyed by the situation. It was the guild office's sole fault for failing to identify the Dark Legion members.
'What should I do?' asked Ernest desperately.
Elsewhere, Aaron shot a purple magic ball at the confining magic wall, hoping to destroy it. But, the magic ball didn't show any significant damage. The wall was still solid without the slightest scratch.
'Damn, it's not affected at all,' Aaron complained.
"What are we gonna do?" asked Misa.
Aaron stretched both hands out to the sides, creating a purple magic defense ball to withstand the attack power of the Dark Legion. It worked! None of their attacks could reach Aaron and Misa.
"There's no other choice."
The young man glanced back and looked into Misa's eyes. He commanded her to close her eyes until Aaron told her again. Misa obeyed without arguing; she was sure Aaron was planning something.

Purple magic appeared on the fingertips of Aaron's right hand. He stretched the two fingers forward and swung gently to the side, tearing the dimensional boundary to create a Dark Dimensional rift.
Andrew, near Aaron, gasped, having no idea that the man could manipulate dimensional boundaries. Now, he began to show his interest in the masked man.
Quickly, Aaron flew through the Dark Dimensional rift. The attack magic of the Dark Legion failed to prevent Aaron from escaping from the place. As their target disappeared, they returned to targeting the people in the stands to kill.
Aerith, fast asleep on her throne, woke up instantly when her sensitivity sensed two energy fluctuations entering the Dark Dimension. She looked down, a Dark Dimension rift was created with Aaron flying in with a woman, suddenly making Aerith jealous.
"Aaron!" called Aerith, flying close to Aaron to bring Aaron's flight to a halt.
"Aerith?"
"What are you doing? Why did you bring another human here?!" groaned Aerith, furious.
"Calm down. I can explain everything."
"Then explain!"
Aaron began to tell Aerith why he had to use the Dark Dimensional Portal. He also said a few things about the Dark Legion, the Authority Flag, and Misa's role, according to Aaron.
Aerith was silent for a long time as she stared ahead, watching Aaron's face. The gesture of lying did not appear on her face; the woman nodded and believed Aaron's words.
"Maybe the Flag of Authority seems new to you. But, the Flag of Authority is widely used in Visiri. The main function of it is to give extra buff and control people's minds."
"They usually use it when they are at war. But, I've never heard of the idea of using the flag of authority other than for battle," Aerith replied.
"Is it a good thing for me?" asked Aaron, curious.
"If you're trying to fight the Integrity Knight, then you'll need the flag of Authority. But, for now, you don't really need it," Aerith replied.
She went on to explain the power required by an authority flag. At least a large amount of mana was needed to activate it, either a combo of up to three people or a personal mana.
"I got it."
Misa still closed her eyes. Her heart was quite curious about the woman Aaron was talking to. Still, Aaron's orders were clear to her. She had to keep her eyes closed until Aaron ordered her again.
Aerith swung her hand to the side, bringing up a dimensional rift aimed at the city again. The location differed from before as Aerith directed it straight outside the Arena of Gallant.
"Thank you."
"Be careful. Let me know if you want to do something like that first."
"I'll do that later."
Aaron and Misa flew quickly through the dimensional rift and arrived outside the Arena of Gallant. Other adventurers had already gathered out of curiosity about the six pillars of red light, which had never happened before.
The young man told Misa to open her eyes. Misa did so, and to her surprise, she was already outside the Arena, free from the threat of death from the Dark Legion.
"W-We're outside already?" asked Misa as Aaron cleared his throat while still floating in the air.

Aaron's presence had come to everyone's attention. Most of them didn't know what the situation there was like, so Aaron ordered Misa to explain to them. Liscia looked back, shocked with a pounding heart, to find Aaron and Misa outside the arena.
"Wait, weren't you inside earlier?" asked Liscia. Aaron glanced indifferently to the side.
"It was easy for me to escape from this pathetic cage."
"Then why didn't you save the many people there? I'm worried about their safety."
"My magic capacity is limited. After all, there are three main group leaders there. They should be able to handle this problem," Aaron replied.
"How confident are you in your words, Lewis?"
"I don't know."
