Chapter 583: “…”
Riya knew that there were a lot of profession in that world.
But the main profession was actually only three, magicians, magic warriors, and warriors. The others were simply the branches of these main profession.
It was just that many of them have higher talent in the branches area than the main profession. Because of that, their improvement methods became varied and created a completely diverse methods.
Now, there were officially several profession.
But for rune master…
Riya could not promote her extreme profession's path because she knew that the talent requirement was simply too high.
If they wanted to become a rune master like her who completely focused on runes… Riya didn't even know whether there would be someone with such talent. After all, she was a special situation.
So for her two disciples, with one was only learning magic spell instead of runes, Riya didn't really expect them to follow her path strictly. She had seen Ruben's ability and could see that he had some talent in runes.
But asking him to focus on runes completely and forget about the magic spells was definitely impossible.
Unless she wanted to cut off his future path.
And after the magic beasts' tide, Riya was looking at the stock of the mana stones in her hand happily. With these, she would be able to make a lot of powerful formation again in the future.
"This will increase my battle effectiveness~."
Riya silently arranged for the world to slow down the time so that she could have more time to rest in this world. She wanted to make a few formation and then meditated to rest after a long battle.
If she stayed here for too long, then it was estimated that Samuel and the others would come looking for her.
"If only I can reach rank 7 and make the teleportation formation plate," Riya murmured to herself with some regret.
The real 'artifact' for a rune master was the teleportation formation plate. Because with this plate, they could basically teleport at any time unless they were under spatial lockdown or other methods that made them unable to leave.
With the teleportation formation plate, Riya knew very well that she would be able to start her treachery….*cough* smart fighting methods. She also didn't have to be afraid to fight against those magic beasts because she could run away in an instant.
There was no need to build a teleportation formation while fighting like before.
Swish! Swish!
In this way, the night passed quietly.
When it was morning, Riya woke up energized and walked out of her temporary residence. Seeing Amelia squatting in front of her door, Riya was speechless.
"It's rare to see Princess Amelia woke up so early."
"I can wake up early if I want to!" Amelia protested and recognizing the voice, she turned her head. "Riya! Come on, the others have already started fighting."
"Huh?"
Riya looked at the sky suspiciously. It was only a quarter past 6 in the morning and they have already started fighting?
"Don't ask me, but there are magic beasts coming out this morning. There's an alarm blaring in the base around 10 minutes ago but I didn't see you coming out, so I choose to wait here," Amelia explained.
Riya: "…"
She's in her world and naturally couldn't hear when the alarm rang out outside.
Thinking about this, Riya felt a bit guilty.
It seemed that she had to set up some kind of alarm formation outside so that when there was something that happened, she would be informed even if she was inside her world. Otherwise, she would be late to come out when something happened like this.
"How many?" Riya asked as they rushed over.
"What?"
"The magic beasts."
"Ah… I don't know." Amelia scratched the back of her head. "I only know that there's an alarm for around five minutes and my brother had already gone ahead. If there's any danger, he should be able to deal with it."
Riya nodded in understanding.
Back in City A Base, Samuel was also one of the fastest responder whenever the alarm rang out. After all, the formation that Riya set up couldn't be activated so easily unless there was an emergency.
The cost to activate that formation, even if it was only once, was really high.
They wouldn't be ale to bear it if they had to use a lot of magic beast's cores every single time they activated the formation.
The alarm formation was one of the few formation that they definitely couldn't use.
At least, not yet.
Before they could obtain a large number of magic beasts cores or find some other replacement to supplement the mana, setting up such formation would only consume the mana that they needed for other things.
For the sake of their own future, they definitely couldn't do this.
Thankfully, there was no need to set up such formation for the time being. There was already soldiers patrolling to monitor if there was any movement from the magic beasts outside.
As for the other security problems… that was not Riya's business.
She didn't have any plan to learn how to develop a base or anything like that.
Tep.
As they walked out, Riya could see that the soldiers were already ready on their places. However, none of them opened fire and instead looked into the distance.
Riya guessed that there shouldn't be many magic beasts coming out today.
They have already wiped out most of the magic beasts yesterday.
"Brother!" Amelia called out to her brother, who was standing on the platform. He was focusing on the open area in front of the base, seemingly looking for something.
Samuel glanced at Amelia and Riya, who came much later than the others and nodded. "There's no magic beast that required us to take action."
"Huh?"
Riya blinked her eyes and looked out.
In the distance, there were a few magic beasts coming over. Their speed was slow and their number was only a handful.
Riya: "…"
