RWBY: Dragon's Heart

Chapter 68: End of the trip: Tepes Extinction

"WHO IS ATTACKING US!?" A Tepes Vampire aristocrat screamed as he fled down one of the castle halls that weren't currently exploding or on fire.

*PUCHI~*

"Kaa... Aaugh..." He looked down, seeing a bloody hand poking through his chest.

"Wh...Why are you.." Was all he could manage to say before turning to dust as blue flames devoured him completely.

Yin stepped in the ashes, twisting her heel in them with a glare of contempt. She looked quite annoyed, angry even.

"Why? You upset my dear Yang." Yin spat on the ashes and kept walking.

Earlier..

Yin, Yang and Shia had teleported over to Romania, where the male-led faction of vampires were stationed. The Tepes clan. The clan that had imprisoned both Valerie and Gasper, for their possession of Sacred Gears. They were the last kids Yin had told Yang about that needed to be saved.

Yin knew taking the kids at this point would likely draw a lot of attention. She vaguely remembered Rizevim having some sort of plan with them later down the line, so it would do some good to nip this in the bud.

"Thanks Ophis." Yin nodded to the mature looking Ophis, who was in a black and purple gothic dress. Though this one was far less revealing, it kept the same style Ophis seemed to enjoy. She even had a little black umbrella to complete her look.

"Mn. If you need my help just call me, my Silence. I will be here." Ophis nodded, watching the trio approach the Tepes Castle grounds.

Yin nudged her sister's arm, seeing how she had been quiet since they arrived. "What's wrong? You feel anxious."

Yang had undergone a small improvement in appearance over the few months they had spent in DxD. Thanks purely to her bloodline and maturing appearance.

Her long, wild hair cascaded down like a river of sunlight, which framed her beautiful and mature face. Her eyes had a softer look compared to her sister's, but her lilac serpentine irises displayed her unease. She wore a black jacket made from Yin's scales, with a yellow tube top that pushed her impressive bust up. On her waist was a white/yellow cloth with a White Dragon in the Yang position on the side that barely hid the shape of her toned and heart-shaped rear. While she wore a set of tight black sweats with two yellow stripes going up her legs. And to finish it off, her boots were a khaki brown with black scales on her heels.

Yin was quite proud of it, being the one who mainly designed it.

"I feel.. weird. I don't think anything good will be found here. Remember that hell-hole we rescued Isaiah from?" Yang asked, referencing the future 'Kiba' who would have been Rias' knight.

Yin nodded, it was basically a fucked up dungeon that used children as ingredients to raise compatability with holy swords like Excalibur. A few kids were dead already, but quite a few more had lived thanks to them intervening. Of course, Yin gave the kids clubs and watched them beat the experimentors to death before taking them. The way she saw it, revenge is fine on it's own but if you have nothing else besides it? It will ruin you.

"All the more reason to take these kids out of here, right?" Yin replied, seeing Yang's face change from unease and anxious to confident and just.

"You're right. Those kids.. whatever they're suffering through here, it ends today." Yang stated, walking ahead toward the castle with a fierce yet heroic aura about her.

"...That's hot." Yin muttered, suppressing the blush on her face as Yang confidently strode forward.

"...Hehe.." Shia snickered. The bunny girl dressed in what is literally a bunny suit. Her long white hair flowing down to her wide hips. Her bunny suit was, of course also made by Yin. The tights were made with a flexible yet very durable red fabric, while the suit itself was made by the same thing, in addition to both Yin and Yang's scales.

It was a look Yin could appreciate, given how it absolutely does everything for Shia's curves. And the little fluffy white tail resting above her bubble-butt was fun to touch.

"..What?" Yin glared accusingly at Shia.

"Nothing~ It's just you two are real alike. Hehe~ C'mon!" Shia deflected before catching up with Yang.

Yin huffed in amusement and jogged after them. Her own appearance having changed as well. If she looked like a mature teenager before, now she absolutely screamed 'Mommy' energy. Her pitch black hair that seemed to reject light was tied up in a ponytail. Her bangs framing her mature, sexy face and sharp crimson serpentine eyes. Her own clothes closely matched Yang's, having a white jacket made from Yang's scales. A grey, tight fitting leotard that barely contained her generously sized breast but covered most, only leaving gaps that exposed her hips. While she too wore a black/purple waist cloth with a Black Dragon in the Yin position on the side that covered more of her own heart-shaped rear than her sister's. She also wore tight black sweats with two vertical purple stripes and khaki brown boots with white scales on her heels.

The three proceeded to enter the castle walls from the back via scaling up the wall.

"Wait!" Shia held her hand up as her red eyes flashed for a moment.

"Magic alarms are scattered along the ground." Shia stated, looking at the ground, which had been covered in leaves.

"Whew~ Good thing we got Shia. Should we try flying?" Yang asked, pointing at one of the Castle's towers, which they were closest to.

"Hmm.. Stealth is our best option if we run into any more people we need to rescue." Yang said, glancing over at her sister.

"If that's how you want to tackle this." Yin nodded, black wings seamlessly sprouting from her back, perfectly coming out of the sleeves she had built into her jacket.

Yang nodded, doing the very same as white wings emerged from her own jacket. While Shia lowered her body down in preparation for a jump.

"Let's go. Quietly now." Yin said before flapping her wings and flying up to the tower with Yang while Shia jumped over fifty meters, easily making the jump.

"Wh-What the!?" One of the human thrall guards atop the tower exclaimed in surprise before getting a right cross, courtesy of Yang.

*THWACK!*

Fortunately for him it was Yang and he only received a concussion. His body slid for a few meters before stopping, completely unconscious.

"Yang... we could have questioned him. Maybe asked where the kids were?" Yin snorted in amusement, causing Yang to bluster in embarrassment.

"U-Uh.. oops? I'll grab the next one.. swearsies."

"Hey! Did you fall asleep again Andrei? I swear if I find you passed out again.." A stern voice called out from the staircase nearby. Yin gestured down to it, looking at her sister with a smirk.

Yang nodded and cracked her knuckles before quickly jumping down the staircase.

"WH-MMMPH!" Yin and Shia heard some rustling below as Yang practically flew down the stairs and grabbed one of the other thralls by the mouth, ensuring he wouldn't call out for help before dragging him back up.

The guard was dragged up, unused to being treated like a ragdoll and so effortlessly too. The blonde girl holding onto him didn't seem like a vampire but who he saw atop the tower certainly did. Her sharp red eyes focusing on him nearly made him wet himself.

"No screaming for help. Unless you want us to drop you off this tower." Yin took charge of intimidation, as she usually did when her and Yang went on these missions.

She walked up to the man and stared him down before continuing. "You'll tell us where Valerie and Gasper are. The two children being kept here. Or I'll cave your head in and use your skull as a fancy new cup. Understood?"

The man felt a lump form in his throat but nodded anyway. As a thrall in a higher position, he wasn't completely mentally dominated by his vampire master. He was only compulsed to follow orders, given that escaping this place was pretty much impossible for him.

He nodded, prompting Yang to let go of his mouth.

"This very wing. All the cattle and prisoners are in here." He stated, looking at the floor.

"This tower then?" Yin asked while noticing the keys on his belt and snatching them off him.

"Yes. I.. What they do to their cattle..." He sucked in a cold breath and took a nervous look at Yin.

"Got it. Enjoy unconsciousness." Yin began to make her way down the stairs as Yang punched him in the temple, providing just enough force to knock him out before following after her sister.

"Yin.." Shia sniffed the air and looked at Yin as they made their way down.

"I smell blood. A lot of it."

Shia was right. The cells were lined up with people. All nearly dead. A good look at a few of them revealed something darker though.

Vampires fed on human blood. Naturally, using them as cattle wasn't a hard thing to picture them doing. Humans do the same to animals, after all. But some of the people inside had been fed too much on. Not only that, some of their limbs and eyes were missing. A few women even pregnant, likely having been forced upon by the vampires who drank from them.

*CRACK*

Yang's knuckles cracked as her hands clenched tightly into fists. The sight enraged her and made her feel revolted at once. Feeling the anger radiating off her sister, Yin's mood also darkened. Though on the outside she looked as if she remained calm.

*Pat* "We'll free them too, Yang. But remember, we have to grab the kids."

"I know.. I know. Come on, I think I feel something.. like myself. Something holy I think? Down there." Yang glanced at a metal door at the end of the hallway, doing her best not to look at the hollow-like faces of the cattle she passed by.

It was still daytime, so none of the vampires were active. Thus Valerie and Gasper were left unattended. Gasper sat next to the tired Valerie's bed, holding her hand with hot tears threatening to run down his face.

*FSSSSSH*

Gasper nearly jumped up from the sudden noise. He noticed the metal door was glowing where the lock was supposed to be.

"Could it really be..? Valerie..! Valerie!" He shook the tired blonde teenager, who looked at him with weak, half lidded eyes.

"Nnnh... Gasper..?" She was still weak from the overuse of the Sephiroth Graal. Her half brother had been exploiting her, getting her to use it to make some of his closest collaborators stronger. Though the number of those turned was still low, she had no idea she had been turning into pseudo Evil Dragons.

"Someone's here. I think.. we might be free?" Gasper held onto her hand tightly, hoping beyond hope that they could get away.

*CLANG*

Yang managed to knock the heavy steel door down after melting the lock. Seeing the two wary kids in the dank cell with only a simple bed and a bucket seemed to piss her off even more. Moreover, she heard what the two were saying.

"Hey.. it's okay now. We're here to get you out. All of you guys." Yang walked inside, leaning down to Gasper's level and comforting him in a gentle voice.

"Really..?" Gasper whispered with a hint of disbelief.

"She's.. good, Gasper. It'll be okay.. with her." Valerie smiled, fighting to keep herself awake.

"I'll carry her. We just need to move you and the others outside.." Yang muttered.

"Y-You mean those poor people..? They'll send someone to check on us every three hours though. How will we get that many people out?" Gasper bit his lip, standing up nervously as Yang picked Valerie up.

"Yin.." Yang called out to her sister, almost pleadingly.

"I need you, sis. I need a distraction.. and Shia to help carry out all these poor souls. Can you help me?" Yang turned around and asked, though when she saw her sister's eyes, she knew she'd agree.

Yin's bangs shadowed half of her face, but her eyes were radiating monstrous killing intent and pleasure. Frankly, it sent pleasant tingles up Yang's back but she forced the feeling down.

"Gladly. It's time for Shibuya two: Electric Boogaloo. I'll give you all the time you'll ever need." Yin smirked and started to walk out.

"Psh.. save some for me." Yang grinned back, then refocused on Valerie and Gasper.

"Okay! Let's get you guys the Hell out of here." Yang smiled as Shia stretched her legs, preparing to act as a packmule.

"What about.. um..?" Gasper gulped, gesturing his head to where Yin had gone to.

*BOOOOM!!*

A large explosion and a flash of blue followed his question, startling him. Yang and Shia looked at the other knowingly.

"I almost feel sorry for 'em. Almost.."

"Ahaha~ I'll go bust the cages~" Shia stated before taking her hammer out and exiting the room.

Present time..

Yin looked down the massive halls, seeing vampires running out of their rooms in confusion and alarm. She reached into her inventory and decided to test out her new weapon her and Yang made together. A long katana, made of white and gold scales appeared in her hand, along with a dust infuser sheath in the other. They had affectionately named this one 'The Lightbreak blade'. She could think of no better opportunity to try it out than to massacre a bunch of vampires with it.

"Who is that!? Take her down!" One of the more important looking vampires ordered, having finally gotten control over the others.

"Yeah, that's right. Come at me, all of you. I need a light exercise anyway." Yin grinned maliciously before the vampire horde ran at her, claws, blades and magic poised to kill her.
