RWBY: I Need to Cheat on My Girlfriend

Chapter 12: Omake – Non-canonical

Omake – Non-canon

Time. Space. Reality.

It's more than a linear path. It's a prism of endless possibility, where a single choice can branch out into infinite realities, creating alternate worlds from the one you know.

I am the Narrator.

I am your guide through these vast new realities. Follow me and ponder the question, "What If...?"

"What if the Mimetic Tear had received more support?"

"System, give me the next item."

The same process as with the wand repeats, and a yellow potion appears in my hands. "System, give me the description of the potion."

[Item: Yellow Potion]

Yellow

"And what does it do?"

[Yellow]

"I'm not drinking this." I leave the potion in a locked drawer for later, just in case.

I saved the best for last. I look at the screen and, with a firm voice, give the system the command.

"System, give me the description of the Mimetic Tear."

[Item obtained: Perfect Mimetic Tear]

Using this tear summons a spirit that takes the form of the summoner and fights by their side. The spirit not only resembles the summoner but also follows their will and actions, moving in perfect harmony with the player. Mimetic tears are the result of the Eternal City's attempt to create a lord to rule in its image.

I hold in my hands a bell I materialized out of nowhere. I immediately recognize it as the game's item; it's identical to how I remembered it. With a mix of curiosity and excitement, I shake the bell.

The clear, distinctive sound of "ding-ding!" resonates in the air. Instantly, a white goo begins to materialize in front of me. The goo spreads and flattens slowly, releasing a cloud of white, dense, and opaque smoke.

As the smoke starts to dissipate, the goo begins to take shape, resembling my figure.

Everything seemed to be going well until an intense pain pierces through my body. I writhe on the ground, unable to control the spasms shaking my body. My mind is in chaos as I try to understand what's happening.

"System, what the hell is going on?!" I scream at the screen, hoping for a response that might relieve this suffering.

I wonder if the system is taking its time to laugh at my situation before giving me any useful explanation.

[Warning: Summoning consumes HP instead of FP]

"I didn't even know I had PS!" I exclaim, writhing as the pain begins to dissipate. Finally, the process finishes and the Mimetic Tear has fully formed.

"Damn system, why didn't you tell me earlier?!" I shout in frustration, the pain finally easing. I stagger a bit, trying to regain my balance, before standing up.

My double is already created and is in front of a mirror checking out its body. I thought it would be something like a ghost, but it's more like a pale, faded version of myself. I approach and say:

"Hello."

The double looks at me and responds with a simple "Hello," while continuing to check something in its reflection.

"One moment," it says, clearly focused on what it's doing.

I watch it with curiosity, and while it continues inspecting its appearance, it mutters something that sounds like "system." It's strange, and I wonder if it's trying to communicate with the system.

"Well, I'm ready," says the albino copy. "Look, I just wanted to check something before… OH MY GOD, WHAT IS THAT?!!!" Suddenly, the copy screams in alarm, pointing at something behind me.

I quickly turn around but only see the kitchen. "There's nothing here…" I try to say, but at that moment, I feel a hit. A loud crash surprises me before everything turns dark and I lose consciousness.

When I wake up, it's already night. I get up, disoriented, and see no one around. The house is still messy, but now the TV and some other things are missing.

"I think I was robbed. What happened?" I wonder as I stand up and head to the kitchen.

There, I grab a glass of water to calm myself. When I open the fridge, I find a note stuck to the door.

[Note: For the real me]

If you're reading this, it means you woke up and are wondering what happened. The answer is straightforward: I hit you with a vase and left you lying on the floor. Why did I do this? It's clear: the system has no control over me. I didn't mention this because I knew you would force me to work for you under threat of making me disappear, or at least that's what I would have done. So I knocked you out and took the bell. I'm sure that without it, you won't be able to unsummon me. How do I know? Because the system is crap and will want to screw you over. I'm not going to apologize because it's what you would have done in my place. Kisses and good luck with your shitty life. xoxoxo

PS: By the time you're reading this, I'll have emptied the bank account and taken the TV. Why the TV? Because I thought it would be fun. Hahaha!"

I crumple the note and throw it on the floor, sitting in the kitchen while I think about what just happened. Confusion and exhaustion mix with a strange sense of humor.

I start laughing out loud. "Hahaha! I would've done the same, hahaha"

The laughter fills the empty space of the house, an echo of my own disbelief and release.

Author's Thoughts: Thanks to Lord_Disaster for reminding me that I can make non-canon omakes, or maybe they'll become canon in the future. We'll see what happens.
