Chapter 15: 15: Intimate Exchanges
Waking up, I felt sore in all the right places. Blake was nowhere to be seen, but the little note he left made me feel warm in all the right places.
"Good morning, sweetheart. I hope I wasn't too rough with you last night. If by the time you wake up and I'm not by your side, know I'm in the kitchen getting us something to eat. Make yourself at home, and I will be right back. Love, Blake."
Smiling down at his note, I stood up and made my way to the bathroom.
Letting the water run down my body felt great, and after a shower of about half an hour, I stepped out, putting on one of Alex's t-shirts, which was like a cute oversized dress on my body. After dressing up, I looked at my reflection for the first time, noticing the new glow to my appearance. My face looked more full, my natural tan color was now glowing, and the black mark on my shoulder smelled like Alex.
I put my hair into a messy bun and started wondering what I should wear for underwear. He did rip mine. Blushing, I took one of his and put it on.
Walking around, I went back to the room and pulled the sheets off the bed since they were stained with some blood. I put them in the machine while making sure to apply some product to the bloodstains to avoid soiling the white sheets. Walking to Alex's dresser, after some looking around, I found some new bed sheets. I made the bed and started walking around, taking in the room.
The room was very elegant, styled with the most expensive materials. The curtains were made of luxurious silk, billowing softly in the breeze that drifted in through the open windows. The furniture was all meticulously chosen, with plush cushions and intricate designs adorning every piece. It was clear that no expense had been spared in creating this sanctuary, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the opulence surrounding me.
Sitting around and waiting for Alex was making me feel bored, but I was too scared to go out of this room. Putting on some music, I entered the kitchen, wondering where he went to make breakfast when there was a kitchen right here. Opening the fridge, I realized it was empty. Hmm, maybe he went shopping for food. Well, I can live with that.
I started singing and dancing to the song. I had heard the song a few times in the restaurant and at the club next to where I lived, but I never thought of myself as a dancer.
The song was so good, and I was so lost in it that I didn't even realize when Alex walked in until he put his hands around my waist, sending those familiar sparks all over my body, causing me to moan in pleasure.
"I thought you would still be out, considering how hard we went at it last night," he said, kissing my neck.
"Well, the warmth of your body was gone, so I had no reason to stay in bed," I replied, teasingly.
Alex chuckled, his breath warm against my skin. "Fair point. But I couldn't stay away from you for too long."
I turned in his arms, grinning up at him. "I'm glad you came back. I was starting to think you'd forgotten about me," I teased, raising an eyebrow playfully.
Alex feigned offense, placing a hand over his heart in mock hurt. "Forget about you? Never. You're unforgettable."
I rolled my eyes with a smirk. "Smooth talker. You're lucky I like cheesy lines."
"Cheesy lines are my specialty," he replied with a grin, leaning in to steal a quick kiss.
I laughed, swatting his arm gently. "Well, as long as they're coming from you, I'll let it slide."
"Good to know," he said, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Now, how about we rustle up some breakfast? I'm starving."
I nodded eagerly. "Sounds like a plan. But first, let me finish this song. It's too good to stop now."
Alex chuckled, pulling me closer as we swayed to the music together. As the song came to an end, he leaned in to whisper in my ear, "You're a natural dancer, Mia. Who knew?"
I grinned up at him. "Just one of my many hidden talents."
With a laugh, he pressed a lingering kiss to my forehead before leading me towards the kitchen, where we set about preparing breakfast together, the easy banter and laughter flowing effortlessly between us.
As we started preparing breakfast together, I couldn't resist teasing Alex about the note he left.
"So, Mr. Romantic, leaving sweet notes for your lady?" I grinned, nudging him playfully as I cracked eggs into a bowl.
Alex chuckled, flipping pancakes on the stove. "Hey, I have to keep you on your toes somehow."
I raised an eyebrow, pretending to be offended. "And here I thought breakfast was already made. Did you forget to mention that part?"
He flashed me a sheepish grin. "Well, I may have exaggerated a bit. But hey, cooking together can be fun, right?"
I laughed, shaking my head. "Yeah, sure. It's not like you just wanted to see me in your clothes again."
Alex's cheeks tinted pink, and he cleared his throat awkwardly. "I, uh, may have underestimated how good you look in them."
I smirked, leaning in closer. "Oh, so now you're regretting going to the shop?"
"Maybe just a little," he admitted, shooting me a shy smile.
I couldn't help but laugh, feeling a warm flutter in my chest at his genuine charm. Cooking breakfast together may not have been what I expected, but with Alex by my side, it felt like the perfect start to our day.
After breakfast, Alex handed me a bag with some items inside—new underwear and an outfit to change into.
"I just got you a couple because I thought you would love to get the rest yourself, even though I'm not complaining about buying things for you," he said, a playful grin tugging at the corners of his lips.
I blushed as I looked at the underwear, then at him. They were a beautiful lace set, intricately designed and undoubtedly sexy.
"What's wrong, baby? You don't like them?" he teased, his eyes dancing with amusement.
I blushed even harder, feeling a mix of embarrassment and excitement. With a shy smile, I pulled up the hem of the t-shirt I was wearing to reveal that I was already wearing his boxers underneath.
His smile widened as he pulled me closer, his hands sliding around my waist.
"God, you look so hot wearing my things. I actually love seeing you not being shy to wear what is mine. It makes me feel like we are one," he said, his voice filled with warmth and adoration.
I melted into his embrace, feeling a rush of affection for this man who made me feel so cherished and desired. As I leaned in to kiss him, I knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, as long as we were together, we could conquer anything.
