Saving Uchiha, Starts by Flipping The Table

I hope the Sarutobi clan doesn't have any complaints about the Third Hokage.

It took five days, but Yan finally arrived in Konohagakure with his team.

Upon arriving, he left the task of arranging the transportation to Shikaku and headed straight for the Hokage office.

"So lively?" 

Yan didn't expect to find the Hokage office packed with people when he opened the door.

The heads of each clan were present, except for a few excluded ones.

"I'm currently negotiating the construction of the commercial street. You've come at the right time; you're more suited to handle this. I'm not very good with matters like this," Tsunade said, hoping to pass the responsibility to Yan.

Unfortunately, she miscalculated.

Yan immediately declined: 

"I don't know much about this either. It's pointless to hand it over to me. Besides, I'll be leaving the village soon to find someone. Even if you give it to me, I won't be able to handle it."

"Find someone?"

Yan didn't ask the clan leaders to leave and instead kept them all in the room. Everyone focused, not wanting to miss anything.

"Since everyone is here, I'll have it read aloud."

Tsunade didn't take the report but asked Shizune to read it aloud so everyone in the office could hear.

It had to be said, Shikaku's report was very detailed. It clearly recorded the events of the five great ninja villages' attack on Amegakure.

After hearing the report, the clan heads were stunned.

No one had expected an organization operating in the shadows to have such power. They had fought the joint forces of the five great villages to a standstill, and even worse, despite the five Kage leading the charge, they couldn't capture all of Akatsuki's members and ended up letting their leaders escape.

Their side suffered huge losses, with the elite forces nearly wiped out.

Who could have predicted such an outcome before the war?

"This organization is indeed not simple. That idiot Jiraiya, why did he have to do something like this?"

Tsunade ground her teeth in anger, slamming her fist on the table.

Had Jiraiya just been helping Konohagakure, or was he unknowingly helping to create enemies for the ninja world?

At least Konohagakure hadn't lost much in this round, but the Sarutobi clan had been hit hard.

"Now that everyone's here, I have two announcements."

Seeing that the atmosphere was right, Yan stood up and drew everyone's attention.

"First, I want to clear Uchiha's name. The Uchiha clan has carried the blame for years, but now it's finally been cleared."

"Uchiha Madara has been caught?"

Upon hearing this, Fugaku, whose heart was tied to his clan, stood up in shock, his body trembling.

The mastermind behind the Nine-Tails' attack had been caught?

The heads of the clans exchanged surprised looks.

"No, he wasn't caught."

"Is it Obito?"

Fugaku had been keeping an eye on this situation.

He had noticed the strange actions of the village before, and the Shinobi Cat Clan had specifically brought it up to him, even collecting some money from Fugaku in the process.

The news coming from the bounty agency shouldn't be taken seriously; it was deliberately released by the village.

Now, it was confirmed.

"It's him, Uchiha Obito! He was the one who caused the tragic Nine-Tails Night disaster in the village, and he's also the one who killed his own teacher, the Fourth Hokage, Namikaze Minato, and his stepmother, Uzumaki Kushina."

"Uchiha Obito? Isn't he the kid who looked a bit foolish?"

"How could he do something like this? The Fourth Hokage was his teacher!"

"Wasn't he supposed to have died on the battlefield?"

The Third Hokage had once paid special attention to a Uchiha child, and this was something every clan knew about.

If the Third Hokage hadn't been so concerned, how could a Uchiha Obito have become well-known among the villagers?

The Uchiha who was the least like the others, this title was something Obito earned after being the focus of attention for so long.

It was an easy matter for anyone who had paid attention to Minato to know that his team had faced a disaster, with two of his students dying on the battlefield.

Who would have thought that someone who was supposed to have died on the battlefield would suddenly reappear, taking on the name of Uchiha Madara, and come to Konohagakure to stir up trouble?

He even ended up causing the deaths of his own teacher and stepmother, manipulating the Nine-Tails to cause chaos in Konohagakure.

"Silence!!" 

Tsunade slammed her hand on the table, halting the discussion and signaling for Yan to continue.

Once the Hokage's office fell silent, Yan continued:

"Obito's reason for seeking revenge on the village is simple—his beloved woman, Nohara Rin, died, and she died at the hands of Kakashi.

In fact, Nohara Rin's death was filled with conspiracy. Someone had controlled the Third Mizukage, sent people to kidnap this girl, and sealed the Three-Tails inside her, intending to bring her back to the village to let the Three-Tails rampage and deal a fatal blow to the village."

"This kind-hearted girl didn't want to harm her village, didn't want to hurt the people in it, so she chose to end her life with Kakashi's help, killing herself and the Three-Tails that was sealed inside her."

"Obito didn't die on the battlefield; he was saved by someone. As for who saved him, the answer is clear—members of the Akatsuki."

"But why would he seek revenge on Konohagakure? His target should have been Kirigakure Village. Why go after the village and his own teacher?"

Hyuga Hiashi raised his doubts.

Logically, if Obito wanted revenge, he should have gone after Kirigakure, not Konohagakure.

And he didn't even spare his own teacher and stepmother.

"Because he believes his teacher, Namikaze Minato, failed to protect the woman he loved," Yan rubbed his forehead.

"And besides, we can't really guess what a madman would do, especially one driven crazy because of a woman."
