SCP: A TRUE ANOMALY

In the evening, SCP-105 kept flirting with SCP-9743, flabbergasted for what he got, completely blushed and blessed by him bringing her with him for such privileges, and so, she rewarded him in a more personal way for multiple hours.

In the next day, a MTF guard directly gave a list of tasks to SCP-9743 in the morning. With a group of MTF always near SCP-9743, he went to SCP-914 with a quick shortcut, as there was a map with all SCPs' containment chamber locations, what allowed SCP-9743 to create shortcuts to teleport and can guide himself better.

Once they are in SCP-914, the MTF guards gave some space to SCP-9743, while he was testing. After placing a small of his skulls in the left chamber and selected the 'Fine' setting, as was for him the best one, for his so far knowledge with SCP-914, inside the right chamber of SCP-914 wasn't a skull anymore, but some bones, some rods of nuclear radioactivity, and some cores of energy with blue light.

The MTF took care of the items, and placed them in a safer place, while now, SCP-9743 struggled to know in how obtaining a good result with SCP-914. After another try, he used the setting of 'Very Fine', just to see, and in the right chamber of SCP-914, was a white assault rifle with skeleton theme and cosmetics, and in the magazine it seems to use bullets of plasma, as are blue energy bullets. SCP-9743 seemed to like and instantly practice using it, aiming and seeing how aim properly with it.

The next time, SCP-914 gave nothing after the settings were in '1:1'. SCP-9743 wondered why it was empty, and tried again, but once more, nothing. SCP-9743 without knowing or understanding, just remained standing still questioning why, while shrugging his shoulders.

After a moment, the MTF leaded SCP-9743 to what would be his usual tasks, help the Foundation containing SCP-682. And without any doubt, SCP-9743 just made appear a skull, shooting the beam against the reptile, and the job was done. He turned to look at the guards, and did the gesture of 'Like that. Just that. Just simply like that.' with his hands and shoulders, shrugging his shoulders, and opening his hands up down.

And so, he went back to continue testing with SCP-914, but wondered where were the MTF guards, but he didn't gave much importance. While he was observing what could be done with SCP-914, suddenly, someone touched his back and shoulder. SCP-9743 turned to look, and were the MTF guards.

'MTF Guard 1': "Tired of the Foundation chaining you?"

SCP-9743: "Huh? What do you mean?"

'MTF Guard 2': "We can help you get out, get real freedom."

SCP-9743: "... Well... I think I'm good. Thanks anyway."

'MTF Guard 1': "What do you mean you're good? They use you, they force you for their own benefit! Don't you want to be completely free wherever you want?"

SCP-9743: "Yeah, but... I can leave at any moment I want, but I want some things they have, and they want in exchange some things I have. Is more like a deal."

'MTF Guard 2': "Well... Your girl didn't say the same."

SCP-9743: "My girl? What do you mean?"

'MTF Guard 2': "Isn't it obvious? She wants freedom, she doesn't want to be here. You don't want to be with your girl? She was begging for makes us get you out too."

SCP-9743: "... I mean... Yeah, sounds as what she wants, as she loves going places with me and that, but... Well..."

'MTF Guard 2': "You're not going to be a bad boyfriend and not want to be with her, no? You have to."

SCP-9743: "... I mean... I could really leave with her at any moment, but... I get from this place some things, and in exchange, I help them."

'MTF Guard 1': "You help them? Or they use you? Because they use you very clearly, for cleaning their messes, dealing with things... All the good things are just a distraction from what they're doing with you. They using you, and you're like their docile dog."

'MTF Guard 2': "You need a clean of brain, but don't worry, no more weird experiments with you, or your girl. We will help you getting out, and then you two can have a better life wherever you want."

SCP-9743: "Uhm... I... Alright, I just got confused. I was just thinking in possible upgrades, and just... I can't even think."

'MTF Guard 1': "Exactly. Upgrading thing for them to use against you, your girl, and anyone else who tries to stop them. Don't help them, get benefit of everyone."

After a short moment, they take SCP-9743, leading him for an exist, while other 'MTF Guards' seemed to be taking D-class personnel too. SCP-9743 was completely stunned and wondering everything, for him was different types of behavior of the same people.

After a long long travel to Floor 1, the 'MTF Guards' opened every door and took them to outside, but in their way, they're surprised by a group of MTF, aiming at the 'MTF Guards'. Now SCP-9743 was completely confused and lost, as for him, they were aiming at each other, and they were in the same team.

SCP-9743: "... W-wha-... What is going on?!... Aren't you all in the same team?!..."

No answer, but instead, gunshots, so SCP-9743 teleported aside, and remained curious. He couldn't understand what was going on. So he decided to flee, getting back to his 'containment room', but SCP-105 wasn't there.

After short time, a 'MTF Guard' enters, and offers SCP-9743 what seems to be a tape. SCP-9743 remains wondering, but accepts to view it, and sees a record of the cameras inside his 'containment room', as when he left for the tasks he was given, low later, staff and personnel as scientists and guards started going to there, and easily got to use SCP-105 in a more personal way of enjoyment. Then, it changes to different experiments SCP-105 was forced to do, while not being able to do anything.

'MTF Guard': "Will you help us? We saw the Foundation's truth, and decided to be against them. The creature they have... Are too dangerous for everyone, and they are trying to hold them all, until they have enough, and release them all together... Don't you want to protect your girl? From all the abuses the Foundation gave to her?"

SCP-9743: "I... W-what?... I mean... I imagine she was forced, but... When I left... Is that why..."

'MTF Guard': "Yes. Do you really think they gave you and your girl this beautiful room for your own benefit? They wanted you two closer to the higher ranks in this place, so they can hold you easier, and... Well... As you just saw... Enjoy of using your girl... I'm sorry..."

Then, the 'MTF Guard' plays that part again, when as SCP-9743 left because the tasks was given to him, personnel after a moment was enjoying of SCP-105 in a intimate personal way, and multiple at the same time, and visibly forcing her of all the ways possible, until some 'MTF Guards' appeared and started killing everyone, except SCP-105, then they helped her, and cleaned the entire room, while taking her out.

SCP-9743: "... So... The rewards all this time... It was her... For them?..."

'MTF Guard': "... I can't apologize enough for what you saw, but I need you here... I need you to take the responsibility the Foundation doesn't want to take. Is not your fault, but it has to be done... Someone has to do it... Make your girl proud... Make Iris proud..."

SCP-9743 struggles, and slowly checks the skeleton assault rifle on his hands. For a moment, checks it, then, slowly, offers it to the 'MTF Guard', who hesitates at first, but then takes it, and who places a hand on SCP-9743's left shoulder.

'MTF Guard': "Do you want to go with her? Or you want to serve some revenge first?"

SCP-9743: "... Honestly... I want them dead."

The 'MTF Guard' gets up, but before SCP-9743 also gets up, the 'MTF Guard' gets shot, what surprises both.

Dr. Sophia Adler: "Wait! Before you do anything, don't trust them!"

SCP-9743: "Why? You want me to let you all continue? Sure, how many have to die? How many have to suffer? There are destinies and faiths worse than death, and having everything in here is one of those."

Suddenly, O5-4 enters the room, and also places the footage of the cameras, showing how after a big while of SCP-9743 was given the tasks, two 'MTF Guards' entered and handcuffed SCP-105, taking her as hostage.

SCP-9743, now even more confused, started playing both videos, comparing both, changing and moving the footage to see each part and the differences. Each video was identical to the other, but the content was different.

SCP-9743: "... But... Both are... From the same moment... What?..."

Suddenly, O5-4 does a completely out of everyone mind's move, giving some strange files directly to SCP-9743. SCP-9743 grabs the files and checks them, seeing that the files are of SCP-914, with every study the Foundation have done so far, every combination, the results, the dangers, and much much more.

SCP-9743 struggled completely, and closed the files and slowly raised his head to look at O5-4.

SCP-9743: "Why do you... Give me this? Besides... Are you trying to buy me with information? As if you think information about that upgrade machine can buy me... Make sure nothing of the first video I saw is real, because is the only thing that matters."

O5-4: "They are the Chaos Insurgency, an organization that wants to free dangerous anomalies to the outside world, generating destruction and death. We try to contain each anomaly, despite if is safe or extremely lethal and dangerous. Our methods can be questionable and improved, but our goal as the SCP Foundation, as SCP stands for, Secure the planet and everything from anomalies, Contain dangerous anomalies, Protect the people from being killed from anomalies. With the Keycard I gave you, as part of the reward, you can check every single file of every single SCP. Just help us make the planet safe, saving as much lives as you can and possible, and contain the danger."

SCP-9743: "... I... What happened to Iris?"

'MTF Guard': "We have her..." Coughs "... Is save from their abuse..."

Suddenly, Dr. Sophia Adler grabs the skeleton assault rifle from the 'MTF Guard''s hands, and uses it to shoot it in the head.

O5-4: "... Let's make a little deal to solve the problem. We focus on not letting any Chaos member letting free or stealing any anomaly or criminal as you know the D-class personnel, and you go free SCP-105.. Sorry, I mean... Iris... I apologize, I'm... Used to the use of the SCP numeration. Once the problem is solved, I... I'll grant you with what you really deserve. Trust me, the price will make you feel like this is your home, and superior than anyone in here."

SCP-9743: "... If those Chaos people really got her, how did they enter in first place? Hmm? Maybe a bad vigilance? Maybe a bad security? This place holds inside of it things and creatures that are way too dangerous."

O5-4: "... I know, but for that we already have set up in each Site the Foundation has, with MTF groups. They just get overwhelmed by the Chaos as they attack at one point, and are more in numbers. I can tell you anything, but... I'll just tell you bad news, because is the only thing I have... No matter how many MTF groups are located in a single Site, the Chaos study and organize to break in, and go through every weak point they find. You can't let them risk innocents' lives, because if any anomaly gets out, it will take uncountable lives, before re-containment."

SCP-9743: "And why you can't by yourselves? Because it seems as I'm your weapon, while you can't do anything."

O5-4: "... It's true, at this moment, the only weapon, for call it somehow, that we have, is you. We don't have anything else to either attack the Chaos, or protect ourselves, or make sure the anomalies are safe and also safely contained. Are too many points to cover at the same time... But if you trust me... I promise you, that you, and Iris, will have the lead of Site-19. You can make the difference in how everything is, and make it better... Make us feel ashamed of us... SCP-9743: "... I don't know how you do it, but... I swear you have a level 9.000 in charisma... Fine, I'll do it. But after killing them, I'll own their souls."

O5-4: "... You take the order for what you will do with them. Feel free to judge them at your will, and how is right."

After a moment, SCP-9743 is being given the location of the headquarters of the Chaos Insurgency, and starts going, but then, O5-4 takes Dr. Sophia Adler with him, while she carries the skeleton assault rifle.

After some walk, O5-4 enters in an interrogation room with Dr. Sophia Adler, where a Chaos member is interrogated. After a hard merciless interrogation, the Chaos member finally speaks, about the real angel going to be released. And about the Chaos Insurgency opening the gate.

O5-4 had it more than clear, the Chaos Insurgency were going to open the gate to release the guardian. SCP-001, the gate's guardian.

Quickly, O5-4 tried to communicate with SCP-9743, by using a hidden radio device inside the uniform given. Surprised, SCP-9743 listened to what O5-4 told him, but not understanding anything.

After a moment, SCP-9743 ignored O5-4, as he reached the headquarters, and then, started exploding everything, making his way, killing everyone and destroying everything, until after some time, finding SCP-105. SCP-105 wasn't tied, but in an interrogation room with a Chaos member for get information from her about the Foundation.

SCP-9743 took SCP-105 out of there, and teleported back to Site-19, but by the long distance, and being two people, it instantly exhausted and drained SCP-9743, who after the shortcut, started sweating and taking deep breaths and he leaned down and placed his hands on his knees.

SCP-9743: "I... t... ... It was... A long... Distance... I wasted too much... Stamina..." He said while breathing deeply, and almost unable to talk.

Quickly, O5-4 took both, and a large group of MTFs to helicopters. After some travel, they saw a lot more of helicopters, going in the same direction as them. Something huge was happening, and it seemed to be the main worry thing of everyone.

After quite a long time in the travel, SCP-9743 slowly recovered, but remained in SCP-105's lap, and embrace. She had him with his head on her chest, and he seemed to enjoy it, what made O5-4 think as at least, someone was enjoying what could be the last moments. Then, after finally reaching to SCP-001's containment Site, they go down and see how the Chaos Insurgency finished of opening the gate, and the guardian being released.

Slowly, the guardian went out, and stood up, observing everything, while the Chaos members were yelling towards it asking and begging for give the freedom they wanted from the Foundation, and calling it the real angel.

Slowly, from the helicopters, the O5 Council members moved to observe together, while the hundreds of teams of MTF of different groups remained aiming and observing in their positions.

SCP-9743: "... I guess... I can't save it anymore..."

SCP-105 looks deep concerned about what SCP-9743 just said, but both were thinking different thinks.

SCP-105: "What do you mean? It's... It doesn't matter, we can do it! Together!"

SCP-9743 slowly turns to SCP-105, and then sighs.

SCP-9743: "... Please... Don't hate me after this..."

 Then, SCP-9743 turned to look again to SCP-001, and slowly started walking towards it. After some walk, SCP-001 noticed SCP-9743.

But suddenly, from behind the Gate's Guardian, something appears behind, as a strange bright light appears behind. After a short moment, a giant Gate is visible, and open, and behind, something goes out, and takes down the Gate's Guardian.

SCP-9743 continues either way approaching and moving. All the Chaos members either ran away, or died by collateral damage. After the entity finished getting out, noticed SCP-9743.

SCP-001: "Why do you approach, creature of many sins and burdens? Do you seek redemption or destruction?"

SCP-9743: "... I seek the death of the Chaos members."

SCP-001, The Scarlet King chuckles, amused by the sheer courage of the SCP-9743.

SCP-001: "You seek the death of those who wish to be free? But why?" Scarlet King says, his powerful voice booming through the containment site.

SCP-9743: "Is really freedom if takes uncountable lives?"

As each question, and slowly over time, the Scarlet King was growing in size, but only for now to be as big as a titan.

The Scarlet King lets out an amused chuckle, watching as SCP-9743 slowly approaches him.

SCP-001: "But what is freedom without sacrifice?" The Scarlet King asks, his scarlet eyes staring deep into SCP-9743's soul.

SCP-9743: "And what is freedom if is by taking everything from others?"

The mighty Scarlet King looks amused, a smirk forming across his face.

SCP-001: "Freedom, my child, is a precious thing that cannot be given. It must be taken. And if taking everything from others is what it takes to achieve it, then so be it. After all, the strong will always rule over the weak."

SCP-9743's expression goes into one of some sort of disgust, and slight frustration. What could be a sign for the Foundation to suspect if SCP-9743 can be another of the Scarlet King's children, as was suspected SCP-999 to be also born from the Scarlet King's seed.

SCP-9743: "Don't call me your child. But if we're talking about taking things from others, I know few things that only exist by being taken from others... But first... By being free, what do you want to do? Or what are you going to do?"

The Scarlet King chuckled deeply, his eyes fixating on SCP-9743.

SCP-001: "Ah, so you wish to know my plans, do you? Very well, I shall indulge you. I have waited for centuries, biding my time until I am able to finally break free from this pathetic prison and remake the world into my own perfect and powerful image."

SCP-9743: "And how is that exactly?"

The Scarlet King's smirk becomes even more sinister.

SCP-001: "When I finally escape this prison, I will have the power to do as I please. I will crush the Foundation, the Chaos Insurgency, and anyone else who dares to stand in my way. And then, I shall remake the world into my image. A world of fire and blood, where I rule supreme. Where all must bow down to me, the true and mighty Scarlet King."

SCP-9743: "... I just have one question."

The mighty Scarlet King raises an eyebrow, his expression still one of amused confidence.

SCP-001: "Oh? And what might that question be?"

SCP-9743's pupils suddenly vanish while stares deeply at SCP-001, who feels the sudden stare going through it's soul.

SCP-9743: "What is a king, compared to a God?"

The Scarlet King's eyes widen in surprise as he feels SCP-001's stare pierce through his very soul.

SCP-001: "What? What blasphemy do you speak, child? I am the mighty Scarlet King, the most powerful being in existence! I am above gods!"

SCP-9743: "Sad for you... Because the true and only scarlet thing that will be seen... Is from your body."

The mighty Scarlet King's eyes narrow, his anger beginning to rise as he stares down at SCP-9743.

SCP-001: "You insolent fool! How dare you challenge me, the mighty Scarlet King! I will destroy you for speaking such blasphemy!"

SCP-9743 turns for a moment, directly looking at everyone, and then at SCP-105, before closing his eyes and moving slightly down his down, and then, turned again to look at the Scarlet King. And then, SCP-9743 raises his arms and opens his hands, and suddenly, opens two portals with glitch effects, one in front of each hand. After a short moment, suddenly, a immense wave of hearts of different colors start floating out of the portals and around SCP-9743.

The mighty Scarlet King's eyes widen in surprise and fear as he gazes at the wave of hearts floating out of the portals.

SCP-001: "What is this...? What dark power do you wield, child?!"

Slowly, the hearts continue going, while also being absorbed by SCP-9743 as they go inside him, and he starts glowing more and more with a rainbow aura, that goes more lifelike by after each heart absorbed.

SCP-9743: "I... Am the true god of hyperdeath!... It's kill or be killed!... And everyone will die by my hands!"

The Scarlet King is visibly shocked by SCP-9743's declaration, but his anger quickly takes over as he scowls at SCP-9743.

SCP-001: "You dare... You dare call yourself a god? I am the most powerful being in existence! I will not be mocked by the likes of you, you insignificant child!"

SCP-9743: "I already killed the old man who called himself the 'original god', what's the difference with you?"

The Scarlet King's eyes widen in shock and horror as he processes SCP-9743's words.

SCP-001: "You... You killed the original god? Impossible! How...?"

SCP-9743: "1 word... DETERMINATION!"

The Scarlet King's expression becomes one of dread and fear as he realizes the power that SCP-9743 holds.

SCP-001: "D...determination... You cannot POSSIBLY hold that much determination... it would be enough to destroy all of existence!"

SCP-9743: "... That's why this isn't my original world..."

Then, the immense waves of heart finished introducing inside SCP-9743, as for what it was saw as endless, it finally finished, and then the 2 portals closed, and from SCP-9743, a huge immense white beam exploded, blinding everything and everyone.

The mighty Scarlet King is temporarily blinded by the intense beam of white light, but he quickly regains his sight as the light begins to fade.

SCP-001: "What... what power was that? Such power... it cannot be possible..."

After a moment, the white beam is gone, and SCP-9743 is also gone, nowhere to be seen. SCP-001 turns to look up, as sees a finger moving from the sky, and then, is grabbed by two cosmic-sized skeletal fingers. Those two fingers were already enough to almost cover completely SCP-001 from anyone's view. After a little of being lifted, in reality being hundreds of feet in height, SCP-001. And then, in a sudden, is thrown slightly up, another hundreds of feet in height, before a sudden cosmic sized rainbow beam completely filled the sky, covering SCP-001 and much more.

Everyone is in complete shock and speechless, and when they look to the sky, they see outside the planet, a cosmic immense huge size skeleton, with multiple of wings on the back with rainbow white fade color lighting everything, the face seems to be changing from a normal one with two eyes and mouth, to be only full of eyes observing. The pupils are rainbow with deep and endless lifelike. The wings have also few eyes opening and closing to observe, while in the top of each wing is filled with a lot of hearts, the hearts, or souls, SCP-9743 absorbed.

After a moment, suddenly, the Scarlet King grows in size, but the difference is clear. The Scarlet King tries to equal the skeleton, but the skeleton is from what can be seen, probably hundreds of times the size of Earth, while the Scarlet King only reaches from 2 to 5 times the size of Earth.

All the light blinds everyone moment after moment, while makes them feel guided through to reach heaven, and yet, as there isn't more darkness anywhere. The fight is very short, as cosmic beams are heard, and then, silence...

In a sudden, all the light slowly vanishes, as everything goes darker, until be back to normal. The skeleton was gone. After a moment, suddenly, a portal opens near SCP-105, from where a slight melting SCP-9743 comes out, before falling down.
