"Happy, do you honestly think the Shopkeeper would just hand over such a valuable Devil Fruit so casually?" Pepper Potts chuckled, shaking her head as she explained. "The fruit you ate earlier was just a sample—it only grants abilities for five minutes."
"Five minutes?" Happy froze, his eyes widening as the realization sank in. Though the news offered some relief, he couldn't ignore a strange pang of disappointment. Why did he feel a twinge of longing for his brief time as a husky?
'No, no, no! That's ridiculous!' he thought, shaking his head furiously as if to banish the absurd notion. 'Why would I miss being a husky? That's insane!'
Pepper, watching his internal struggle, couldn't resist teasing him further. "So, Happy, does this mean you won't object to my deal with the Shopkeeper anymore?" she asked with a sly smile, her voice dripping with playful sarcasm.
Happy immediately straightened up, a nervous grin plastered across his face. "What are you talking about, Pepper? You've misunderstood me completely! When did I ever oppose you? I was just, uh… trying to gain a better understanding of these Devil Fruits." He shook his head so enthusiastically it looked like he might topple over, conveniently forgetting his earlier outburst and accusations of fraud.
Pepper raised an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed by his sudden change of tune. "Well then," she said, her tone casual but her eyes sparkling with mischief, "since you're so supportive, would you mind helping me carry the gold inside?"
Happy froze again, his face falling slightly. But this time, he didn't dare argue. "Of course! No problem at all!" he replied with a strained but eager smile. Without another word, Happy went to the car parked outside the shop and began unloading the gold. He carried the heavy bars inside one by one, placing them carefully in front of the counter.
By the time he finished stacking the 100 kilograms of gold, his forehead glistened with sweat, and his breath was slightly labored. "Shopkeeper, here's 100 kilograms of gold," Pepper said, gesturing toward the neatly arranged bars. "Please verify the amount."
Rosh smiled faintly, verifying the gold with his system. Then, with a simple wave of his hand, the massive pile of gold vanished into thin air.
Pepper and Happy stood frozen, their jaws nearly hitting the floor.
'All that gold… gone with just a wave of his hand?' Pepper's thoughts raced as she tried to understand what she'd just witnessed.
Happy, meanwhile, stared wide-eyed, his earlier skepticism crumbling. The Shopkeeper of the Home of the Devil Fruits truly possessed powers beyond anything he could fathom.
"Here you go, Pepper. This is your Bubble-Bubble Fruit," Rosh said calmly, presenting the Devil Fruit with an air of nonchalance.
Pepper stepped forward eagerly, taking the fruit she had worked so hard to acquire. Without hesitation, she bit off a small piece, swallowing it despite the dreadful taste that made her grimace.
Immediately, she felt it. A surge of energy coursed through her veins like a wave of newfound strength washing over her. Her senses heightened, and her inexplicable connection to her new ability sparked. With a confident grin, she turned toward Happy, raising her hand to conjure a cluster of glimmering bubbles that shimmered like liquid rainbows.
The iridescent spheres floated gently through the air, moving toward Happy.
"So… you can actually create bubbles now," Happy muttered, his expression a mix of amazement and disbelief. Not long ago, he had dismissed the Bubble-Bubble Fruit as nothing but a scam. Now, reality was hitting him squarely in the face.
"Yes, Happy, I can," Pepper replied smugly, her grin widening. "And why don't you experience them for yourself?"
Curiosity and a bit of apprehension flickered across Happy's face, but he didn't resist as the bubbles drifted toward him and popped softly against his skin.
Happy's eyes widened as a wave of energy surged through him. His earlier fatigue—especially from hauling 100 kilograms of gold and his impromptu "dog boxing" session—disappeared in an instant. He felt light, rejuvenated, and completely recharged, as though every cell in his body had been revitalized.
"Wow! This fruit is amazing! It's like the ultimate dream for anyone with a busy schedule!" Happy exclaimed, his excitement bubbling over as he genuinely enthusiastically praised the Bubble-Bubble Fruit.
Pepper chuckled at Happy's newfound admiration for something he had initially dismissed, but her attention quickly turned back to Rosh.
"Shopkeeper," she began, her tone polite but eager, "you mentioned something earlier about a group chat for Devil Fruit users. Could you add me to it, please?"
Rosh nodded without hesitation. "Of course. That's not an issue at all."

Group Chat: Devil Fruit Family
Shopkeeper: "@Everyone, we have a new family member joining us! Let's give her a warm welcome."
Pepper Potts: ''Hello, everyone! I'm Pepper Potts. It's an honor to join this family. Please take care of me!''
Her introduction caused an immediate buzz in the group chat.
Wade Wilson: "Wait, Pepper Potts? THE Pepper Potts? The woman behind Tony Stark? Hi! I'm Wade Wilson—the man in front of Tony Stark!"
Wade Wilson: "And before you ask why, it's because I usually see him on TV. So technically, I'm always in front of him. Get it?!"
Pepper blinked at her screen, her brows furrowing. 'Who is this person? His messages were erratic, and his humor was....questionable. Did someone accidentally let him into this group straight from a mental institution?'
Fortunately, the other group members were much more normal.
Vanessa: ''Oh my god, Pepper Potts?! You're my idol! I can't believe I'm in the same group as you!''
Helen Cho: "Pepper, is that really you? So, you've joined the Devil Fruit Family, too, huh? Welcome!"
Charles Xavier: "Ms. Potts, it's a pleasure to have you with us. I'm Charles Xavier. Welcome to the family."
Even the quieter members, like Morbius and Natasha Romanoff, chimed in with polite greetings, which Pepper graciously acknowledged.
After a few more pleasantries, she decided to log out of the chat, feeling both amused and slightly overwhelmed by the group's colorful personalities.

"Interesting crowd," Pepper muttered under her breath, shaking her head with a soft smile as she slipped her phone back into her pocket.
Turning her attention back to Rosh, she said, "Thanks again, Shopkeeper. I appreciate everything."
Just as she was about to leave, Happy suddenly blurted out, "Wait, Pepper! Don't leave just yet. I've decided—I want to buy a Devil Fruit too!"
Pepper froze mid-step, slowly turning around to face him, her expression a mix of disbelief and amusement. Her look seemed to scream, 'Are you serious right now?'
She couldn't suppress the laughter bubbling up. Of all the things she'd expected, this wasn't one of them. "Oh, this is going to be a story I'll never let you forget," she teased, shaking her head.
"Okay, okay, Pepper," Happy replied, throwing his hands up in mock defeat. "I admit it—I was wrong earlier. I've seen the light now, alright?" He shot her a wry grin, his tone both sheepish and earnest.
Pepper smirked, crossing her arms. "So, Mr. ''Devil Fruits Are a Scam'' has changed his tune, huh? I can't wait to hear how you plan to explain this one."
Happy shrugged, his grin widening. "Hey, a guy's allowed to change his mind, right?"
