A few hours later, Patriarch Li stared blankly at the empty cave around him but no matter how hard he tried, he could not find any traces of the cat-eared woman who had kidnapped him.

Seeing this, he couldn't help but become doubtful.

However, after a few seconds, he no longer gave it any thought and stepped outside, before taking off and rushing off in the distance.

His speed was not very fast and his aura would fluctuate as he stepped on the air, but it didn't take him long to completely leave the cave behind him.

Seeing that the woman didn't appear to stop him from doing so, although Patriarch Li had some doubts, he still breathed a sigh of relief.

"But it's impossible to say that there is no conspiracy.", he muttered.

After some thought, he turned around and flew in the opposite direction.

About a week later, the arrival of a strange Gem Beast brought some changes to the inner area of the Myriad Demons Forest.

This Gem Beast was said to be strange because its behavior was somewhat inexplicable, as it wandered around aimlessly without any goal or destination in mind.

"Sure enough. It was the correct decision to come here."

"The spoils I obtained in just a few hours are almost equivalent to everything I've gotten in the past week.", Chu Wuyao whispered and with a wave of her hand, many drops of blood appeared in her palm.

These drops were of various colors, with some being golden, some green, some white, and some pitch black, while at the same time, their aura also varied.

One had to know that it took Chu Wuyao roughly the same time to travel from the territory of the Original Desire Sect to the Myriad Demons Forest and to do so, she had passed through the territory of the Sword Palace and the Blood God Temple.

From this, it can be imagined just how massive the Myriad Demons Forest was and how low the probability of chancing upon a Level 3 Monster was.

"If it were not for the fact that Patriarch Li and the Gem Beast were fighting at the time and the noise they made attracted me, it would have been impossible for me to meet the Gem Beast on my own.", Chu Wuyao thought, understanding that she was very lucky to meet it.
