*Ting*Tong*Dongg*

The final school bell rang, signaling the weekend.

'Well... maybe she is angry with me..? I should visit her after coming from the hospital' Jin Ah thought and hurried toward the hospital, to see her mom again.

She has to shorten her visit today because she also has to go and meet Song Yi.

She has decided, she will meet her friend face to face whether Song Yi likes it or not Humph!

With these thoughts, she quickly arrived in front of the hospital building, but when she looked at the track surrounding the building, she spotted Jin Woo jogging laps at a brisk pace, brow furrowed in concentration. His hunter physique was evident even from a distance.

'Agh! Look at this idiot oppa! why is he not concerned about his own health!?'

in Ah stomped over, waving her arms to get his attention. "Oppa! What are you doing?"

'Jin Ah's voice?'Jin Woo slowed in surprise, panting slightly, 'Shit! What's the time?' He panicly looked at his watch and realized it was her usual visiting time after school.

He was so engrossed in completing his daily quest today that he didn't pay attention to the time at all!

He slowly walked towards her figure while readying himself for a scolding from her little sister, again...

Ya, she had once found him doing push-ups in his hospital room when the doctors had suggested him to rest...*Sigh*

He came closer to her and when he saw her stern frown, he scratched his head sheepishly.

'Ah, shit, here we go again' remembering the line of his childhood's fav game before all this dungeon shit happened.

"Ah! Jin Ah, you are here..." He said trying to dodge her gaze, but she was not having any of it.

She folded her hands under her breasts and asked once again, with an odd 'calm before the storm' kind of smile, "I. Said. What. Were. You. Doing...?"

"Ah, Jin Ah, y-you see.... Just getting some exercise..hehe..he?." Jin Woo said while avoiding her mother-like gaze acting like an ideot kid in front of her.

"You shouldn't be pushing yourself so hard!" she scolded. "The doctors said to take it easy while recovering."

Jin Woo averted his gaze guiltily. "I feel fine now though. And they say that Hunters recover fast, you know?"

Jin Ah was having none of it. "No excuses! Now come inside before you overexert yourself."

Knowing better than to argue, Jin Woo obediently fell in step beside his little sister as she led him back inside.

It seems he would have to resume his daily exercise after she leaves.

As they walked inside, Jin Ah nudged Jin Woo playfully. "Oppa must be really sick to be doing this kind of stuff! Something must be seriously wrong with Oppa's head which the doctors are not able to cure~"

in Woo sighed in mock exasperation. "Ya ya, you caught me. I think something is really wrong with me huff."

Then Jin Ah's smile faded as another thought occurred.

"O-Oppa, I know you are doing these physical stuff so that you can get back to being a Hunter quickly after you are discharged..."

"If it's money you're worried about, I can find a part-time job to help. You won't be burdened alone.... I don't know why you don't want me to help you..."

Guilt squeezed Jin Woo's heart. The truth was, his mom's hospital bills were piling up as well and he still had to pay the rent of their home and his hunter pay wasn't keeping pace.

But he hated worrying his sister. He wants her to focus on her studies and get a good job.

Unlike him, Jin-Ah is a very brilliant girl, she has a bright future ahead, and he doesn't want to take that future away from her.

Although he is getting stronger due to his system's daily points from the past week, but according to him, he has yet to surpass the upper E rank's strength.

He knows with this system, he can become an S rank someday but that day will come very far in the future and he needs money as soon as possible.

Just then, Jin Woo recalled the offer made by the Hunters Guild last week. They needed a supply poter for Team B, paying a generous (2 million Won) $1600 monthly salary. It could be the solution to his money woes.

(A/N: his "monthly" rent for a good ass 3 BHK in "Seol" is around 400$ (ACC to the novel) and he wears worn-out shoes, I mean n*gga can't even spend 8$ for his shoes. So, $1600 is a huge deal.

P.S. Don't compare the pricing, remember they are living in a post-apocalyptic world where a lot of gate breaks had happened in the past, and a lot of infrastructural damage had happened.)

Jin Woo still had his doubts but looking at Jin Ah's concerned face, as a big brother, he wants to comfort her worries.

And he told her about the supply officer position.

"T-The Hunters Guild approached you? Like really really approached you... you, The mankind's weakest Hunter?"

"Ah!" Jin Woo felt a hypothetical arrow pierce his heart, his face flushed he nodded at her words.

"Oppa, I think you should accept it," she said gently. "As long as you're not fighting monsters directly, it should be safer for your recovery. And the pay is much better than before too."

Seeing hesitation in his eyes, Jin Ah held her oppa's hand.

"You know you can't risk your life like you used to... and...and" She stopped and looked at the floor.

"And?" Jin Woo asked in confusion.

"A-and... Your well-being is more important than anything to me. P-please, be safe from now on."

A smile crept on Jin Woo's face listening to his little sister.

Her sensible words diminished his doubts. Jin Woo realized how much she had matured,

He smiled and hugged her close.

"Alright, I'll take the job. Thank you for looking out for me, Jin Ah." She beamed, relieved to ease her brother's burdens even a little.

♣♣♣♣

After saying goodbye to her brother, Jin Ah headed to her mother's hospital room. She spent some quality time by her mother's bedside, telling her about her day and reading her a storybook. Though unconscious, Jin Ah felt her mother seemed more at peace this way.

As evening fell, Jin Ah reluctantly left the hospital.

"Ehh?" When she exited the building, she was surprised to see how dark it had become already.

A quick check of her phone revealed it was past 7 PM.

'It was because of that idiot brother of mine' She cursed cutely in her mind but she was feeling happy for her Oppa finding a good job as a supply potter.

'Ah!' She suddenly remembered she still needed to visit Song Yi. Concern for her friend gnawed at her insides. Song Yi hadn't been attending school and wasn't answering her calls. Jin Ah worried something may be seriously wrong.

Resolving to check on Song Yi without delay, Jin Ah made her way to her friend's apartment. Along the way, doubts crept into her mind. What if Song Yi didn't want to see her? What if she was really angry at her?

She remembered Song Yi had invited her many times to do some fun activities, but every time Jin-Ah ditched her and left Song Yi hanging in disappointment.

Putting such worries aside, Jin Ah at 7: 25 PM.

Jin Ah steeled her nerves and rang Song Yi's doorbell. After a long moment, the door opened a crack. Song Yi peered out, looking even more pale and drawn than Jin Ah remembered.

When Song Yi saw who was there, her eyes widened in surprise. "J-Jin Ah? What are you doing here?"

Jin Ah took a concerned breath. "I came to see how you're doing. Please, let me in. I'm worried about you."

"O-Ok, come in" Song Yi hesitantly invited her inside.

As Jin Ah entered Song Yi's apartment, she heard a familiar gentle voice, which called out to her, "Ah, what a pleasant surprise, welcome Jin Ah, we were just talking about you!"

Confused, Jin Ah turned toward the couch where the voice came from.

A handsome man with Red hair sat drinking tea alongside Song Yi's.... mom?

"A...Azaroth!? What are you doing here?"

Jin Ah asked in confusion. Though only a week into classes, he seemed unusually close with Song Yi's family.
