Chapter 2: The World
(Any events or names in the novel are fictional and have no connection to reality)
The Star Alliance is one of the most powerful forces in the universe and includes five families.
The first family is the Terra family, whose power was gravity.
The second was the Efreen family, the Plant family,
the third was the Lysandra family, the Light family,
the fourth was the Downing family, the Metal family,
and the fifth and last was the Wilder family, the Beast Tamer family.
The Star Alliance was different from all existing alliances, as each alliance did not have a patriarch or a head, but instead had a council that included the heads of the alliance's families. The reason for this was that the ancestors of the Star Alliance millions of years ago were very close friends they were literally brothers . After they became powerful and became the heads of their own families, they decided to form an alliance and called it the Star Alliance. Therefore, there was not much discrimination or arrogance in the Star Alliance between the members with positions and ordinary people. Instead, they were very cooperative, but of course, there were cases that broke the rules, but not in the number that one would look at. However, what also distinguished them was that they valued power very much. They respected the person who had great power, and this is something natural, as in this world, power is the most important thing.
Speaking of power, the power system in this world contained many different energies, the most important of which was mana.
When a person begins their cultivation journey, they form a mana core in their body. After creating a mana core, the person pushes the mana from the core into the closed meridians in the body. There are impurities and sediments in the unopened meridians. It is like a dam that has been closed for years and then opened once. Hundreds of thousands, if not millions of tons of sand and dirt will rush in and accumulate in the dam's course due to the lack of flow. This happens to the body that has not yet created a mana core, as impurities and sediments called mana impurities accumulate. After a person creates a mana core, they must open the meridians at once, meaning with one movement. If they cannot open them in one go, damage may occur to the person's body in addition to their meridians. There is no problem with the body being damaged, but when the meridians are damaged, their treatment will be very complicated.
After a person creates a mana core and opens the meridians, they are officially awakened. The rank of the awakened is novice according to their mana core classification. Of course, there are many ranks, but that is a topic for another time.
After a person awaken, a screen appears showing him his attributes, statistics, laws, principles, and skills. This screen is called the Guide and it varies from one person to another, as there is the Fire Guide, the Water Guide, the Space Guide, etc.
Of course, people's strength is not limited to the elements. There are those whose strength focuses on strength, speed, weapons, and countless forms. Honestly, no one knows what the Guide is and when it appeared, but since it was very useful, they did not care.
Every person has attributes even if he is not awake. As for the statistics, they show strength, speed, endurance, perception, mana, and some other forms of energy in the form of numbers. As for the skills, they are divided into two types: a skill that a person can create or learn, and a skill that a person acquires when he breaks a basic breach. As for the laws and principles, there is no point in talking about them until the time comes. Orion was waiting for many adventures and hardships in this world, but when someone sees his calm sleeping face, he will doubt that even if galaxies are destroyed, it will wake him up from his sleep.
Days passed and during them the heads of the Star Alliance families visited the parents, congratulated them, showered them with gifts and spent more time with them.
What was impressive was that all the heads of the Star Alliance would have children of the same age,
but since Orion was the first to be born, he would be the eldest, and the second would most likely be the child of the wife of the head of the Ivren family. Due to the closeness of the heads of the families to each other, the heads of the families were considered Orion's uncles and aunts.
The heads of the families spent their time with the parents and then left due to their responsibilities and work.
Days passed and on the seventh day after Orion's birth, an unexpected guest arrived in

the Shadow World. A shadow creature as tall as a child, wearing a black cloak with a skullcap, stood and looked at what appeared to be a portal made of shadows and around it were many spirits. Some of the shadow creatures could not enter that portal made of shadows, but the shadow creature had his assumptions. However, among the shadow creatures and shadow ghosts surrounding the portal, he was different from them, unique and... powerful.
The shadow creature advanced to the gate and extended its hand to enter the gate. As expected, its hand did not enter the gate. It was like a solid wall. "Humph." That did not stop the shadow creature and began to impose its will on the gate. Ripples occurred in the gate and then the shadow creature was able to passed its hand followed by the rest of its body. "A new journey begins."
