Sunny took another deep breath, a sigh of relief.

He was pissed off!

Why did he have to kill two Sovereigns before becoming one himself!

Well technically he was a Sovereign when he killed Anvil, but he literally just achieved Supremacy! That didn't count!

'Ah.'

He remembered Cassie was still trapped, and since she was Cassie she must have prepared a contigency plan!

Like maybe for instance a Memory like Effie's pendant!

So she would effectively hide inside her own Soul Sea while he rescued her!

Sinceathe Souls and shadows are connected, it couldmight be possible to manipulate the shadow to overflow Cassie's soul with shadows and quite literally toss Mordret out of there.

He could feel his connection to the Spell but his True Name was still gone... And yet he suddenly felt [Fated] inside of him.

Well... A much weaker [Fated], but still there!

He wondered who could still remember him...

It was fine as long as their cohort, Rain, and his own cohort remembered him!

And well... Other people he was closed

to as well, ofcourse!

Well on knowing his luck... Even his enemies would remember him.

He reached inside the Marvelous Mimic and saw Cassie—or rather Mordret—lyimg there, chained.

He was probably getting an army or whatever here... or not.

But he definetly had connection to other bodies!

He concentrated on Cassie's shadow, and reached within her... And summoned the army of his Shades inside her soul sea!

It was a rather empty place, with strings of Fate inside... It made sense really!

She had a sacred aspect related to Fate.

As for the strings, they had different flows and hues, thus making it a beautiful grand tapestry.

'Ah! As expected of the girl I love's Soul Sea'

'Was I like one of those cringe webtoons for a moment there!'

Within a few moments, he kicked Mordywardy out of his soul, in a rather humiliating way.

A way he would remember to never mess with the Sovereign of Shadows...

Sovereign of Death...

Sovereign of fate...

Rightful heir of Death...

The Bastard Son of Fate...

'Wait... Im getting carried away.'

He laughed at himself, and suddenly he heard a sound, causing him to flinch... A beautiful girl with blonde hair walked out of a pendant. Or rather... Teleported out.

"S-Sunny?"

Cassie! So she remembered!

His chest tightened, he felt butterflies in his stomach...

'Wait! That was impossible... What? Excuse me?'

"Yeah! It's me!"

He replied, as warmth crept on his cheeks...

"This place is beautiful... Just like you."

"What?" Cas replied.

"I said this place can't compare to your beauty..." He replied, the warmth creeped up till his ears.

"Oh! This is only the second time I've seen this place for what it truly is..."

She paused, the silence that followed made his chest have tight knots, a drop of liquid reflecting the beautiful hue of Cas' soul sea formed on his cheek.

"So uh..." Sunny stared, at the same time:

"Wanna talk back in the Dream Realm?" Cassie spoke, cutting him, a mischievous grin formed on her fair face.

'Beautiful.' Sunny breathed.

"Oh sure..."

After meeting face to face, Cassie found herself tied up and a cloth in her mouth... A muffled sound escaped her lips.

Well... This was awkward.

Sunny coughed, and the Shadows tying her left, no longer binding them.

"I love you..." Sunny started.

"I love you too, but you may wanna use your Shadow Sense and keep this discussion for later.

Suddenly a few familiar shadows approached him, watching him stand in front of a tied up girl at that!

It was Nephis, Effie, Jet and Kai.

Kai! His best friend!

Even Jet!

At that moment... He had a realisation.

They saw Cassie tied up!

This, too, was awkward.

"Its not what it looks like!" Sunny spoke, almost too quickly.

Well...

It was in a sense, but that was him capturing Mordret... But he was sure they thought of something else entirely!

Effie opened her mouth... And disaster (with corruption) struck.
