Chapter 1157: Chapter 1157: Karna's All

It wasn't just Altrouge who made a move, but also her subordinates.

She and Arcueid, these two sisters, had torn into each other multiple times and knew each other well. Altrouge knew she wasn't a match for her younger sister. So, if they were going to fight, she needed to win by numbers.

Countless phantoms rose into the air, led by the white knight Blood, standing guard beside the Black Princess.

Another eerie sword slash cut through the night sky, carrying a terrifying curse. In terms of conceptual power, it was almost on par with Angra Mainyu, the embodiment of All the World's Evil.

The wielder of this sword was a male knight clad in black armor, his expression cold and indifferent. Just standing there, he radiated a pressure equal to that of a top-ranked Servant. He was Altrouge's most trusted subordinate, the Black Knight Strout, one of the oldest Dead Apostles.

He wielded the cursed sword True Demon, and his lifespan rivaled the history of the Barthomeloi family. Time itself carried a certain mystery, and with almost two thousand years of accumulation, the Black Knight was even more dangerous than Altrouge herself.

Finally, Arcueid shifted her attention away from Roa. The combination of the Black and White Knights alongside the Black Princess was a force even the Last True Ancestor had to take seriously.

In an instant, blood splattered, phantoms swarmed, curses danced, and fantasies materialized. The magnitude of the battle was no less intense than that of a team of heroes joining forces.

At the same time, Roa gently descended from midair, lightly adjusting his small round glasses, and addressed everyone, "Well then, shall we begin the final battle?"

"Battle?"

Roman asked in confusion.

"You've already gotten what you wanted, so why fight?"

"I've obtained what I desired, but my ally hasn't yet," Roa explained with a smile, not in any rush.

"The door to the Root hasn't opened yet. Perhaps it's because this time it needs to accommodate two people, and the number of Heroic Spirits isn't sufficient. So, I'm sorry, but I must kill all of you—and I believe you all want to kill me too since both Dead Apostles and Beasts are enemies of Heroic Spirits."

"Well, well, there's no helping it then," Roman muttered quietly, rubbing his fingers together.

"I'll go first," Karna patted Roman on the shoulder and walked past him. "Master, I request permission to unleash my final Noble Phantasm. Only it has the power to destroy this monster."

Luvia looked over at Lorelei Barthomeloi, who was standing nearby, "Lord Barthomeloi, I owe you a favor."

"Granted!"

Lorelei agreed without hesitation.

"Permission granted. I'll use a Command Seal to support you!"

Luvia said as she removed her glove, the red patterns on her hand glowing brightly.

"By the power of the Command Seal, I order you, my Servant, to destroy the Serpent of Akasha."

"Understood!"

With that response, the heavens rumbled, and divine energy surged.

In Karna's hand appeared a magnificent divine spear, forged from lightning itself.

This spear was a sacred relic, obtained by sacrificing his Kavacha and Kundala armor, a Noble Phantasm of cheat-like proportions. No matter how immortal the enemy, this spear's power could not be resisted.

"The spear that kills gods…"

For the first time, Roa's calm expression faltered.

He could feel the concept within the spear—it was an annihilation that transcended death. Even a god without the concept of life and death would likely face only one outcome: destruction.

However, it was too late to escape now. He had already been locked onto this spear, by Karna.

The son of the sun, now bathed entirely in crimson, slowly raised the divine spear, chanting aloud:

"Feel the mercy of the King of Gods, You will be destroyed with this one strike... Watch, Indra! I will burn it all!! (Vasavi Shakti)!!!"

Then, the spear descended. The highly concentrated lightning, carrying the inescapable aura of doom, instantly engulfed Roa's body.

However, rather than being destroyed, Roa's body melted into a puddle of black mud, which began to spread across the area.

The lightning didn't stop there. It expanded, trying to annihilate the black mud as well, but the mud was surprisingly resilient, enduring the lightning while continuing to spread outward.

"How is this possible?"

Luvia could hardly believe her eyes. This was Karna's ultimate trump card, the pinnacle of ancient Indian Noble Phantasms. How could it be blocked?

"It's a Reality Marble. That black mud is a Reality Marble. The annihilation concept of the spear seems unable to affect the world itself," Waver deduced.

"Did you learn this from Fabro Chaos?"

"Correction, Fabro learned it from me. I originally developed this technique, based on the concept of the origin of life, to counter the princess. Fabro, being a magus from Wandering Sea, happened to specialize in this field. His death was truly unfortunate, so I will fulfill his wish in his place."

Even though Roa had lost his human form, his voice still echoed, and it didn't sound like he had been gravely injured.

"Oh, Hero of Charity, can your spear destroy this world of chaos, created as a mockery of Genesis?"

For the first time, a look of true seriousness appeared on Karna's face. "Master!"

"I know!"

Luvia immediately understood, the remaining two Command Seals glowing brightly.

"Do what you must. I'll give you all my support!"

"Thank you, Master."

Around Karna, flames twisted and writhed like countless serpents.

"Brahma, bear witness! This will be my final battle! Never before has my body burned so fiercely. I'll push this strike to its absolute limit."

Not only did Karna channel the power of the god Indra into his spear, but he also infused it with the divine energy gifted to him by Brahma.

"This is my Noble Phantasm, my all—O Sun, obey Death (Vasavi Shakti)!!!"

The second invocation of its true name was not for the sake of releasing it, but a declaration—a declaration of all-out effort!

Karna poured his entire being into this attack, disregarding his own life for the sake of a self-sacrificial strike.

The brightness, the heat, the destruction—it was like the true sun itself. This was the culmination of the life of the greatest hero of ancient India.

This strike surpassed all limits. Whether it was chaos or darkness, everything was swept away by this pure light.

The battle between light and darkness concluded, with light emerging victorious.

"Hah… hah… hah…"

The great hero, who had unleashed an unprecedented radiance, panted heavily. His Master, equally drenched in sweat, had given her all to support him. When she said she would give him full support, she meant it—not only with Command Seals but with all the mana in her body.

"Is… is it over?"

Before Karna could respond, Roman's eyes widened in shock as he rushed forward, shouting.

"No, it's not over yet—look out!"

"Huh?"

A black shadow emerged from Luvia's own shadow, darting toward her back like lightning.
