Shotaro: journey of a hero that kept moving forward

"What is a Garm" Shotaro said.

"One of the last great wolf" Kanal said as he came out of the river, "Everyone evacuate" the chief commanded as he wore his armour.

"She has been tormenting our hills for the last couple of hundred years" He head a voice as he looked back to see Madona.

"Since when you had the time to change into that battle attire" Shotaro questioned.

"Don't bother yourself with it" She said almost if as a get back.

"Hey, that's my line" Shotaro complains as suddenly heard a loud howl.

  Garm the queen of the great wolves

There stood the giant wolf, her height being around 120 ms & her fur being grey with a white patch around her face & a bunch of scars.

"Why am I hearing boss music?" Shotaro as everyone began to run away from it.

The beast roared as she chased behind the villagers.

"I should be afraid" Shotaro said as he suddenly stopped moving & just stood there, "but why I am not feeling like I should?".

He looked at the beast running towards him, he was feeling weird, his mind didn't allow him to run away from the appending doom, it wanted him to....keep moving forward, like an extraterrestrial force from a higher dimension was influencing him.

"Shotaro what the fuck are you doing!!" Modona yells as she shot her arrows on Garm's impenetrable fur.

"I…uhhh" suddenly a giant paw struck him hard enough to flung him in the air.

"MUGYIWARA!!!!" Madona yelled as she saw Shotaro's intestines ripping out of his torso as his organs liquified.

HE WOKE UP

Shotaro woke up in middle of a ruin, he looks at his belly & Saw his guts are back in together as Madona sat beside him.

"What were you thinking" she said.

"I…uhhhh where's the wolf" Shotaro said as he stood up dazed.

"She is still there" Kanal said as he towards him.

"Father" Madona said as she helped Shotaro Mugyiwara.

"Hey if you want to kill yourself, at least succeed in it, so we don't have to use most of our Mana to patch you back to feet" Kanal said in anger, "I should have known better than to trust a man, I should have let you drown in your own guts & die".

"Hey asshole" Shotaro, "Thank you for saving me I appreciate it" He said in a nice voice before turning back into his angry demeaner, "what's your problem with humans, did they fucked your sister or something".

"Yes"

"Wait they did"

"Non-Consensually"

"What the fuck!!"

"My aunt was captured & raped in front of my father, when he was little" Madona said as she chimed in said.

"Damn... I am sorry" Shotaro said.

"That's why I grew up without a mother" She added in sorrow.

"Wait it was your aunt that died…what's it doing with your mother....WAIT WHAT THE FUCK?" Shotaro said as he connected the dots.

Shotaro looked at Kanal differently now, "Bloody sisterfucker".

"Anyway, back to topic" Madona said getting serious, "our village is destroyed again, we need to rebuild it".

"What do you mean again?" Shotaro chimed in.

"Garm had been terrorising these mountains for centuries now, maybe it's her payback for the Battle of greystone" Kanal said.

"The battle of Greystone?" Shotaro asked with a tone of confusion in his voice, "am I missing something?"

"I was just born then" Madona said looking at her father as he helps to rebuild the village from afar, "The invasive species of Great Wolves were at their peak, that's when Queen Marafyre signed the extinction of the race, a thousand fought, a thousand died, at the end, the race was brought to a near end, with their king Fafnir sealed into a stone at MT. Greystone, west from here, Garm, pregnant with her cubs at the time, was sealed within these hills by my grandfather Canal the wolf slayer, never to leave again, she grew angry, she grew violent, she grew hostile & the rest is history".

"Damn that's...horrible" Shotaro said.

"What do you mean horrible" She asked him, puzzled at his empathy.

"Garm is only the villain because she is a big fucking wolf, if she was a humanoid like us, she would have been considered a great wife" Shotaro said directly to her.

"But she killed our people" She argued.

"Your grandfather & his army did same to her" Shotaro said with a tone is sternness.

"But ughh....." She just walked away.

"Women" Shotaro said as he took a deep breath & took a sip of the tea cup in his hands.

The scene cuts to the village meeting as Kanal, son of Canal the wolfslayer, being the chief said.

"It seems like Garm is growing more & more angry with us, maybe she is trynna get back at me for my father's deeds".

A small stature but wise elderly elf came out from the crowd, as everyone recognised him as The elven guru.

Everyone bowed to him, but he just said, "No need to bow, m'lord, I am but a poor little old man" as he chuckles.

"But... But you're Halasar, the only living child of Bardwin the first".

"Wait...you're the brother of the guy who fucked his 18 siste---" Shotaro was cut short by a punch in his head by Madona.

"Respect fool, respect, he is the oldest living mortal in the entirety of aetheria, the only living thing to witness the second elven civil war" she said as she made him bow as an apology.

"Forgive this dumbass o great guru, he is not from this world & that's why he acts so much retarded all the damn, I am pretty sure he is autistic too" she said.

"Oh, no such need, & yes I know he is not from this world" the wise old man chuckled.

"You thought I was autistic?" Shotaro said to Madona as he is mad.

"Well yes you act autistic all the time, it's only natural" She said, rubbing the back of her hair.

Shotaro looks back at the old guru & comments, "ever since I woke up naked in that Forrest, I have one witness one Pokémon after another".

"Huh, what is it?" The cheerful old man said.

"Nothing" Shotaro replied "so why just after the destruction of the village, only you bring your holy wise old ass here?, what's with you?, Halasar?".

"FuFuFu" Guru chuckled, "Quite feisty & overly serious for a 17-year-old are we".

"Well someone have to be serious in this situation" He said sarcastically, "& how the fuck you knew I am 17".

"Well you're too serious for a 16-year-old but too retarded for an 18-year-old" He said in a matter of fact voice, "leaving the fine age of 17 that's the perfect blend of the 18-year-old angst & 16-year-old autism".

"OK Socrates" Shotaro said, "Just tell me how to deal with that bitch".

"Well that's not an insult to Garm" Madona added, "She is a female great wolf, that does make her a bitch of some sorts".

"OK I get it, enough with this philosophy shit" Shotaro said.

"We go & ambush her while she rests in her den along with her cubs" Kanal said.

"FUFUFU so much like your father" The guru commented.

"NO" Shotaro simply said, "She is angry, not evil".

"The fuck you mean… Mugyiwara?" Kanal said in a dangerous voice.

"You saw what she did" Madona said.

"We had this conversation before BUT you guys..at least your forefathers did the same to her entire fucking race" Shotaro argued back, "We kill her cubs & we remove the last reason she ain't going Godzilla on our asses".

"The fuck is a Godzilla" Madona asked.

"Don't bother yourself with it" Shotaro, said as always as the elven ranger scrawled, "why you keep saying that".

"We lead her to an open field, use a trap or two & capture the bitch" Madona said determined.

"Yeah & then fucking Elmo the cookie Monster & George Washington will honour us with a medal" Shotaro said sarcastically, "as if it's that easy to trap a more than a hundred-meter tall wolf".

"Who the fuck are those tw--"

"Oh, don't bother yourself with that"

"Ughhh!!! Fuck your mother"

She suddenly trips & falls on her butt, out of some divine intervention because it was so random.

They made it to Garm's den as Shotaro was tasked, with Madona, to make Garm chase them to the field of traps, Shotaro not fully being with the plan, due to his sympathy with the queen of great wolves, decided to go with Madona, because he secretly wanted to stop her if she tries to kill a cub or two.

The elven ritual of good luck began, as a tree herder was brought, a knife made up of a some black magic stone, possible a kind of obsidian, as he kisses the knife's blade, a symbolism of blessing.

The tree herder was belting for mercy as he was tied down.

Shotaro was watching from afar.

"She is going to carve its beating heart out & eat its heart blessed by the goddess of the forest" Halasar the elven guru said chuckling.

"& they call Garm a beast" Shotaro said irritating.

"Maybe you're right when you said, Garm is only the villain because she is a big fucking wolf" Halasar said as Shotaro was jolted from his stare as the ritual was going.

"How did you know about that"

"I was there, although being a little old man have its advantages, you didn't see me from afar that time".

"You're starting to give me the creeps" Shotaro said as the belting stopped in the background, he looked back, saw a dead tree herder on the ground with chest cavity.

The village cheered as the girl was lifted by her father & the folks, the cheering only intensify as she took a bloody bite out of it.

Shotaro can only see them from afar, disappointed & disgusted at the barbaric rituals.

"Maybe cause I am from another world" He said trying to cope with it until Madona have him the heart.

"Take a bite, it's a blessing from the goddess of forest" She said.

That was it, Shotaro slaps it away accidentally in disgust, "ew".

As the heart touched the ground, the entire village gasped.

"YOU DUMB FUCK YOU DOOMED US ALL" Kanal screamed in frustration.

"Huh?"

"The fuck you mean, huh?" 

"Fufufu it seems like by slapping away the heart you denied the goddess blessing" Halasar.

"How do you keep spawning like that?" Shotaro complained.

"Don't bother yourself with it"

"Hey, that's my fucking line".

The scene cuts to Shotaro & Madona starting their journey to Garm's cave.

"You know if I die or end up getting raped, it's all your fault" She said as an aura of dread spread across the duo.

"Although I don't really believe in this shit, but now you're making me scarred as well" Shotaro said.

as they walked & walked, Madona began to say some shit from past.

"My father's sister, my aunt-mother, remember her?"

"Yeah I do"

"My father tried to rescue her, but he found her hanging on the cellar she was being kept in, that's why he hates your kind & now you even ruined the fucking ritual" She said her tone hunged with frustration.

"Well sorry for not having an apitite for raw hearts" Shotaro said sarcastically.

"What will you do after it? She asked "Would you stay?"

"Well it's not like your father is the biggest fan of me, but I don't thing I will stay" Shotaro said looking at the sky, "In this unknown new world with evil god & evil queen, all I can do is keep moving forward & find out my past".

"Well...would you let me join you?" She asked with a blush, "better than being wed off'ed to some old creep from another village".

"Well I am new here, so the outside world is as stranger to me as it's to you" Shotaro said honestly.

She goes closer to him, "It's a good thing, cause...maybe we will both have our chances to explore it together".

but the conversation was stoped as a large pillar of light struct down upon them from sky, recreating Hiroshima in Shotaro's eyes.

Madona, with her elf skin was hurt badly, but alive so she stood up & saw a sight of Shotaro, the supposed human, standing up as well.

"Shotaro how are you even less damaged than me, you're fucking dude for god's sake".

But Shotaro Mugyiwara ignored her as he looked upon at the skyline & saw a familier figure, a very large on on a mountain.

"Shit, Garm, she saw us, her cubs must be around then" he said as the great wolf queen leaped from the mountain miles ago & landed above them, Shotaro, of coarce somehow rolling around.

"what the fuck, is this a soulsborne game or something?" but he saw a Madona bravely, shooting the living shit out of Garm, great wolves have hair strands harder than steel, so of coarce the arrows didn't did rat-shit, other than being stuck in her inpenetrable fur like a damn itch bug.

"Stick to the plan!!, we must lead her to the open feilds" Madona said as she ran her ass in one direction with Shotaro following her.

They were running & running until they saw the open feild, so they jumped over one of the trap & activated it, trapping Garm as the villagers cheered.

then Shotaro heard the big wolf saying something telepathically into his mind.

"YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE SLICK HUH?"

as suddenly her magic activates, freezing the entire feilds as she breakes the trap & attack the village forces, suddenly Shotaro was infront of her, his body refused to moving, he was scarred...or shocked, numbness & empty anguish filled his mind, as he suddenly felt a barrier form around him, one protecting him.

Madona was standing there, her one arm gone, other mangled, "looks like the great mighty naked weird man needed his good old elf ranger to help him?" She said spending the last drop of her magic to stop him.

"WHAT THE FUCK GET IN YOU STUPID ELF" SHOTARO SHOUTED, HE BEGGED.

"Explore the outside world for me, will ya?" She asked with a large smile, showing her bloody teeth, but undying will.

"But--But what about you?" Shotaro said as he heard the recognisable words.

"Don't bother yourself with it, Mugyiwara Shotaro" Madona said as the giant jaw of Garm bite her whole upper torso, blood, guts, shit came out as a fountain as the whole upper half of the once brave ranger was biten off entirely, leaving only her legs standing.

Shotaro Mugyiwara saw it from the barrier as he can't handle it.
