Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon

Chapter 750: 748: Diving Into The Black Sea

Corey would have preferred to set up several contingency plans in case Pamela decided to renege on their deal or attack Divine, Rosa, and the rest in some way... But he didn't have anymore time to waste.

Even though it looked like he had been doing nothing but conversing with Pamela, his main attention was still on the coffin.

He was watching its every movement and the movement of the spatial cracks around it even when he was talking with Pamela.

He was not only doing this, he was also observing every part of the island and the four armies.

He was looking out for the best path to take when he wanted to leave the island, the best path to take when he began swimming, and he was also looking out for the movements of several key figures of the four armies.

Although it looked like the attention of everybody was on the approaching titanic abomination, Corey saw several individuals from the Outsiders, demons, Underworld officials, and even the New-Earthlings observing him.

The bright glow of his eyes, his ability to silently kill tens of Mystic Beings without moving, and the fact that he teleported Pamela to his side was shocking to most of them.

Corey took note of their movements, and his Ears of Omniscience also listened to the conversations between numerous people.

And out of all these conversations, the most interesting conversation was amongst the Outsiders.

He heard them talking about the shock of not knowing that there was an abomination as powerful and unique as the titanic abomination on New Earth.

He also heard them talking and asking themselves questions about how it was possible that an abomination beyond the Mystic Tier was on their world.

They also spoke about the possible reasons the titanic abomination was approaching the island.

They gave several explanations, and each Corey intrigued Corey.

However, what truly intrigued Corey and also relieved him was that the Outsiders and Chosens saw the titanic abomination as a treasure.

According to what he heard, the titanic abomination was beyond the Mystic Tier and has stepped into the Immortal Tier, but the titanic abomination was severely weakened.

It barely had up to five percent of its power, because if it did, New Earth would have ceased to exist from the moment it appeared on their world.

An Immortal had the ability to cause a catastrophe on a world, and some talented Tier 7s could destroy a world.

All of this intrigued Corey, but what gave Corey the confidence to try and approach the coffin was the fact that the Outsiders would act as distractions.

The moment Corey left his comrades, he slipped into the crowd around them and used Breath of Omniscience and Infinite Mirage to hide himself.

Immediately, he could feel several auras searching in the last place they saw him and beyond. He could feel them using several searching skills and abilities, but his Breath of Omniscience could hide his presence from all the skills.

He slipped through the army while taking the path he already concluded was the best path to take.

Approximately one minute later, Corey appeared at the edge of the eastern part of the island with many invaders looking for him.

He could see some trying to interrogate Rosa, Kiefer, and the rest, but Pamela stopped them by beating them black and blue while giving them a warning.

For those that chose not to listen and were persistent, she killed without hesitation. From one death, it led to two, and then three, before more and more individuals began attacking Pamela, Rosa, and the rest.

Fortunately, Pamela was ridiculously strong.

She was like the Goddess of Lightning in Corey's eyes.

Things would have become more dangerous for Pamela and the rest if not for the titanic abomination who was now close to the island.

The Chosens, their Elders and Guardians, the Demons, and the Underworld officials fought against the titanic abomination.

Meanwhile, the New-Earthlings struggled to move as far away as possible from the battle while desperately trying to protect themselves.

A battle that would change the entire Black Sea ensued... But Corey did not place his entire focus on it.

He had long since jumped inside the Black Sea, and after assigning one of his Stars of Consciousness to observe the battle through his Eyes of Omniscience, he placed his full attention on his surroundings.

Swimming in the Black Sea was something Corey would never have done unless he had no choice but to... For instance, in this situation.

And if he had to, he would make sure he was fully prepared for it.

Just like the name, The Black Sea was extremely black. It was not only black, it was thick and viscous to the point that even Corey had to put in considerable effort to swim through it.

If this were the only issues Corey had with the Black Sea, it would not have been a problem.

The Black Sea was corrosive and filled with countless poisonous tiny organisms that were constantly trying to either take a bite of his flesh, drink his blood, or drill into his body.

Corey had no problem with the poisonous aspects, it just felt extremely disgusting to have countless tiny organisms trying to wriggle and have a piece of him.

Luckily, his mana was extremely thick and pure to the point that a basic mana coating around his body was enough to protect himself.

'Wait... I can do that right?'

A thought appeared in his mind, and without hesitation, he executed it.

He released his Maledro's Gu around himself, and the moment he did this, they not only drank the poisonous and corrosive waters of the Black Sea, they devoured every tiny organism that tried to touch Corey.

Corey was instantly relieved when this happened, and he allowed his Maledro's Gu to constantly revolve around him.

As he swam, he ignored every living organism that was in his path so that his time would not be wasted.

Apart from this, another reason why he was not attacked by any creature of the Black Sea was because of his Breath of Omniscience which completely hid his presence and Infinite Mirage which created an illusion of himself.

Approximately thirty five seconds later, he could see the coffin.
