The entire crew was in high spirits, laughter echoing through the battlefield-turned-banquet. Wine flowed freely, and the bonfires crackled with warmth and merriment.

Shen Yuan was no exception. He sat silently, slowly sipping a glass of aged rum, his dark eyes fixed on the distant horizon.

"Gurarara! You little brat! Why're you drinking like a lady?!"

Whitebeard's booming laugh carried over, but Shen Yuan didn't answer. He remained quiet, his gaze never leaving the edge of the crimson sky.

Whitebeard squinted in that direction but saw nothing.

"Gurarara! Don't act all mysterious!"

But Shen Yuan's voice cut through the cheer like cold steel.

"Without me, this family will crumble eventually. Kaido's threat isn't over. The World Government lurks in shadows. The Admirals aren't resting, and don't forget... there's still that damn sow."

Whitebeard narrowed his eyes. He knew Shen Yuan wasn't speaking recklessly.

"You mean… they might attack us soon?" he asked, suddenly serious.

"Highly likely."

With that, Shen Yuan downed the rest of his rum and stood up, brushing the dust from his long coat as he turned and walked toward the remains of the battlefield.

"Where are you headed?"

Whitebeard rose too, his towering frame moving with unexpected lightness.

Shen Yuan didn't look back. Instead, he raised his head toward the sky and muttered something cryptic.

"Already here."

Whoosh!

A black figure descended rapidly from above, landing with a thud before Shen Yuan.

"My lord, here is the man you asked for."

The cloaked figure flung a body forward — the infamous Kurozumi Orochi, the puppet tyrant of Wano.

"Well done. I have another task in mind."

The dark figure hesitated, then removed his cloak, revealing the solemn face of King (Jin), one of Kaido's All-Stars.

"What do you desire, my lord?" he asked nervously. If Shen Yuan changed his mind now, Jin had no escape.

"Relax. I'm not going to kill you."

Shen Yuan glanced down at the barely conscious Orochi, then said calmly:

"Let me enter Wano, and I'll leave your Beast Pirates alone — for now."

Jin blinked in surprise, then nodded slowly.

"You have my word. But what exactly are you planning in Wano?"

Whitebeard, who had remained quiet, finally realized what was happening. He turned away, heading back to the feast without another word.

"To continue the purge... the Kozuki must be erased," Shen Yuan replied coldly.

Jin frowned. The hatred for the Kozuki was understandable from Orochi. Even Kaido had reasons. But what connection did this man have?

"Understood. I won't pry further. We'll await your arrival."

With that, King disappeared into the night sky like a silent shadow.

"Heh. These wretches must die by my hands," Shen Yuan muttered as he stared at Orochi.

He took a step forward.

"How would you prefer to die?"

"Wh—what?"

Before Orochi could react, a crushing gravitational force yanked him into the air and slammed him into the ground with terrifying might.

Boom!

"Oof!"

The snake-like tyrant twitched violently on the ground.

"Skill: Gravity Domain – Pressure."

The earth rumbled as the ability compressed around Orochi's form, destroying his first of eight lives.

"Gahhh—!"

Blood sprayed from Orochi's mouth, his eyes wide with terror.

"I admire your cunning, but not how you ruled civilians like livestock."

Another gravitational burst shattered his second life, a sound like cracking bones echoing in the air.

"Please—! What do you want from me?!"

Shen Yuan lifted his chin, and a massive shadow hand made of dark matter lifted Orochi high.

"You know things. Give me what I want, and I'll let you go."

Orochi trembled, processing the offer.

"You... you mean about the Kozuki?"

Shen Yuan nodded.

Relieved, Orochi began to divulge what he knew.

"Kawamatsu... he's being held at the Udon quarry. He's one of Kozuki Oden's loyal vassals—!"

But before he could continue, a gravitational force exploded within his chest.

Crack!

His third life was erased.

"Still hiding things. You think I can't tell?"

Shen Yuan raised a finger, and a black spike of condensed gravity hovered above Orochi like a sword of judgment.

"Wait! I'll talk! I'll tell you everything!"

Sweating bullets, Orochi rattled off every scrap of information — Kozuki family secrets, hidden retainers, old plans for the fire festival... everything he knew.

Shen Yuan listened, but with growing annoyance.

"What the hell are you even saying? How is your niece's wedding or your concubines' scandals relevant to me?"

Irritated, Shen Yuan thrust the Gravity Spike forward.

Orochi screamed as the spike pierced his body, killing his fourth life.

"Don't kill me! I have info on Kaido! I swear!"

Shen Yuan paused, intrigued.

"Go on."

Orochi gasped, then spat out a critical piece of intel:

"Kaido… has been negotiating with Big Mom—Charlotte Linlin. And… he's made contact with agents of the World Government."

Shen Yuan nodded slowly.

"Good boy."

Then, another spike impaled him through the shoulder.

"Why again?!"

"You talk too much. And your face is revolting. Ever heard the legend of Hou Yi shooting the suns out of the sky?"

Orochi felt despair descend upon him.

Fifth life – gone.

"NOOOOO!"

His scream tore through the night.

"What do you want from me now?! I'll do anything! Anything!"

Shen Yuan tilted his head thoughtfully.

"Hmm…"

Then a cold answer:

"Die as atonement."

Without warning, Shen Yuan exploded forward. Before Orochi could react, a dark palm clamped onto his throat, sealing his Hebi Hebi no Mi power instantly.

Boom!

A punch shattered his abdomen.

"Gahhhk!"

Orochi coughed blood violently.

"I… is this the end…?"

"No more chatter."

Shen Yuan followed up with a gravitational football kick, launching Orochi into a distant cliff, where he slammed into the rock like a ragdoll.

Crack!

Silence followed.

Shen Yuan cracked his knuckles with satisfaction.

"Gurarara! What now?"

Whitebeard was watching from a distance, arms crossed.

"I think you're right," he said calmly. "Oden's legacy only brings pain. Handle this how you see fit."

Shen Yuan gave a half-smile and waved his hand, then crouched low.

He had noticed something odd on the battlefield.

A black stone tablet embedded in the ground near Orochi's corpse. On its surface — ancient inscriptions.

"Old man, come look. What's this thing?"

Whitebeard's brow furrowed. He approached, staring at the markings carefully.

"Wait a minute… This is a Poneglyph!"

Shen Yuan blinked, unimpressed.

"A wall full of homework. You can have it."

But Whitebeard's eyes sparkled.

He knelt beside it, gently brushing away the dirt. Like a boy rediscovering a forgotten toy, Whitebeard was swept into nostalgic wonder.

He was no longer the Yonko — just Edward Newgate, young, wide-eyed, curious about the vast world once more.

And Shen Yuan?

He stood above them all.
