The female Metallic Dragon's voice sounded a bit unnatural, not because it came from Yilan herself, but rather from the AI unit that Chen Fei had given her. It used a voice model created through prior learning to send encoded speech, yet it equivalently represented Yilan's will, providing another means of communication.

This AI unit worked surprisingly well, almost seamlessly interfacing with the Metallic Dragon race's heritage module, significantly enhancing the efficiency of many functions and even expanding new capabilities.

For instance, on the surface, the female Metallic Dragon Yilan appeared to be attentively listening in class, but in reality, she was multitasking, taking notes while engaging in a voice call with Chen Fei.

Hearing that Yilan had safely returned to the Imperial Capital, a weight lifted from Chen Fei's heart.

Chen Fei shook his head; he had seen how unreliable Cobalt Luo and its friends could be. On one hand, there was no immediate lack of fighting power like Yilan's, and on the other hand, the other young dragons might not be as easy to deal with as Yilan—a disagreement would most likely make them want to eat him.
