We see Goku running in the forest, heading towards the Village Hidden in the Leaves.

Goku: A crab basket. How could I get lost? If mom finds out I got lost, I won't hear the last of it. I was already late from the beginning because mom didn't let me go. After all, I finished my training on time. But she wanted to spend more time as a family before we separated. Finally, I see the gates to the village. Wow, there more prominent than I remember. 

?: Hey, you kid, who are you, and what are you doing here?

Goku would look around, wondering where the voice was coming from.

?: Over here to your left, I have never seen you before, and you have a leaf ninja headband. You know it's a crime impersonating a leaf ninja.

Goku: I'm not impersonating a ninja; I am a ninja of the leaf. As to why you haven't seen me before, I've been outside the village since I became a ninja last year. By the way, who are you?

?: My name is Izumo, and my lazy sleeping partner is Kotetsu.

Goku: Hi, my name is Son Kakarot, but you can call me Goku.

Izumo: Ok, so tell me, Goku, what are you doing here? Do you need help?

Goku: As I said before, I've been outside the village since last year. But I was supposed to be here three days ago, but I got lost on my way back to the village. Oh, I got this letter with the Hokage stamp at the entrance.

Goku would pull out a letter from his bag with the leaf symbol and the Hokage stamp. Goku would hand over the letter to Izumo.

Izumo: Ok, I see now, so the Hokage is expecting your arrival. I would go straight to his office since you were late.

Goku: I will thank you. Sorry, but can you tell me how to get there? It's my first time here.

Izumo: You see this big road. Just follow it. It will take straight to the Hokage office it's the red building un the Hokages monument.

Goku: Thank you, and it was nice to meet you and your partner.

Goku would start walking towards the Hokage's office. As he walked, he noticed many villagers staring at him, wondering who he was. But Goku wasn't paying any attention to what they were saying about him.

Goku would arrive at the office of the Hokage and walk to the secretary, and we give her the note that Hokage is waiting for him. After the secretary would read the letter and see the Hokage's stamp, she would allow him to go up the stairs to the office. Goku would knock on the door and would hear a voice.

Hokage: Come in.

Goku: Hi there, Hokage, sir. I'm reporting for duty, sir.

Hokage: You're late.

The Hokage would only stare at Goku for a moment until they would start laughing.

Hokage: it's good to see you again, my boy. How have you been, and where are you're mom and sister.

Goku: I been good, Hokage, and as for mom and Shizune, they are just finishing some of their last-minute clients. But she said they would be here in a couple of months.

Hokage: So why were you a couple of days late. Was I worried, you know?

Goku: Well, my mom got cold feet at the last moment and made me stay two extra days to have more family time, but when the day came for me to head out, my escort never showed up. Probably he was doing his so-called research. So I decided to go by myself, but then I got lost on my way here. So that's why I was late coming here. I just hope mom and big sister don't find out. I will never hear the end of it.

The Hokage and Goku kept talking for several minutes. As the Hokage had forgotten, he already had people in his office before Goku came in. Goku realized there were five others in the office. 2 boys, one with black hair, the other with yellow hair, a pink-haired girl, a man with white hair, and an older woman holding a cat. When Goku saw who the other person was, he quickly went on one knee to apologize and greet her.

Goku: I'm sorry, Lady Shijimi. I didn't recognize you, Please forgive me.

Madam Shijimi: Kakarot, is that you? You've changed a lot since last I saw you a year ago. You have finally grown up to an average height for your age. Please stand up. You don't have to be so formal with me. Tell me, how's you're mom and sister doing?

Goku: They're doing well, you know still going from village to village helping out. How's Princess Naho and The Lord Fire Daimyō?

Madam Shijimi: Naho is going great wondering when her big brother will go and see her again to play, and as for my husband, he is doing well too. You know his offer still stands for you to go and train with and become one of his Twelve Guardian Ninja

Everyone in the room was shock to see how Goku and The Daimyō's wife were speaking typically and that Goku also had an offer to be trained as a Twelve Guardian Ninja.

Goku: Thank you, Lady Shijimi, but I can't make that decision yet. I'll need to talk with my mom first.

Madam Shijimi: That's understandable but if you ever decide on going, let us know, and we'll come to get you. Please say hi to your mom and sister; you all are welcome to stay with us anytime; we'll prepare a feast for you and sake for your mom whenever visiting us.

Then a voice was heard coming from one of the other people in the room.

?: Hey, old man, what about our next mission.

Hokage: Sorry about that; let me see what I have for you guys. Squad 7 for your next mission we have. Babysitting the Chiefs counselor's three-year-old boy, Helping his wife shopping, and helping dig for potatoes.

? Noooooo. Give us a real mission. Something exciting and challenging. Not this little kid's stuff. Come on, old man.

?: Naruto, how dare you your nothing but a new Genin with no experience. Like everyone else, you start with simple missions to develop and prove yourself.

Hiruzen: Come down, Iruka. I saw this coming but this early.

Naruto: Are you serious babysitting is not a mission; is a stup...

Naruto couldn't finish his sentence due to being hit on the head by the white-haired man.

Hokage: It seems you don't understand the task you've been given. Listen to many different tasks come in every day, from babysitting to assassination. These requests are then recorded and ranked A, B, C, or D, depending on their difficulty.

Hokage: We ninjas are ranked by ability. At the highest level, we select the missions and assign them to ninjas with the appropriate skills and experience. 

Hokage: If the missions are completed, we receive a fee for supporting our village and work. Since you untried Genin just starting down the Shinobi path, you are given D-level missions.

Goku: Uhm, grandpa, I think he stopped listening to you a while back. He's telling his team what he ate yesterday and what he wants to eat today.

Naruto: Yesterday's lunch was pork bone broth noodles so that today will be miso broth.

Hokage: Silence.

Naruto: Aah, you constantly lecture me as if I were your grandchild or something. But I'm not the same little brat who pulls pranks on people anymore. I'm a ninja now, and I want a ninja mission.

Goku: hahaha 😆. Hey grandpa, I like this kid his funny. If I knew there were ninjas like him, I would have come much sooner.

Hokage: So Naruto wants us to know he's not a brat. He's a former brat, and he a mission.

Goku: A ninja mission.

Hokage: Right, a ninja mission. So be it. Since you are so determined. I'm going to give you a C-Rank mission as bodyguard.

Naruto: Who? Who? Is it a princess or some high-end counselor?

Goku: hahaha yeah, right, like they would trust a princess to a group of Genin with no experience.

Naruto: What did you say, and who are you?

Hokage: Don't be so impatient. I will bring him in now, Naruto. Please come in.

As soon as the Hokage permits us to enter, we see an older gentleman half drunk

?: Huh? What's this? It's just a bunch of damned squirts! Huh? Particularly you, the smallest one with the idiot's face. Are you a Ninja?

Naruto:Who's the smallest one with the idiot face he's talking about?

Goku: Don't laugh. Hold it in; you can do this.

Naruto: I'll kill him!! What good will it do to kill the old man?

Kakashi: You're supposed to be guarding, you moron.

?: I'm Tazuna, a veteran bridge builder. You'll be risking life and limb in guarding me to the max until I return to my land and complete my bridge.

Hiruzen: You wanted a ninja mission; there you have it. Oh, by the way, Goku, you'll be joining then, as of today; you are part of team seven.

Goku: What? Why are you punishing me for arriving late, aren't you.

Hiruzen: Actually, no. There were two teams I tough about joining, team 7 and team 10, but since team 7 is here already, you'll be joining them.

Naruto: What, why him. We don't need a babysitter.

Kakashi: Enough Naruto, the Hokage has put him in our team that's final. Now go and get ready. We'll meet at the gates in an hour.

Moments later, we see everyone gathering at the entrance gates.

Kakashi: Before we head out, let's introduce ourselves to Goku.

My name's Naruto Uzumaki! I like instant ramen, but what I like even more is the ramen from Ichiraku that Iruka Sensei treats me to. I dislike the three minutes after pouring hot water into the instant ramen. My hobby is eating and comparing ramen! And my future dream is to surpass the Hokage! And so I'm going to get the entire village to acknowledge my existence!

I'm Sakura Haruno. What I like..."She looks at Sasuke" I mean, who I like is..."She looks at Sasuke" And, my hobby is, I mean. My future dream is..."She looks at Sasuke" What I dislike is Naruto.

My name is Sasuke Uchiha. I have lots of dislikes but no likes in particular. Oh... And... I don't feel like summing up my ambition as just a dream, but I do have a purpose! The purpose is to restore my clan and, without fail, kill a particular man.

Goku: Okay my turn. My name is Son Kakarot, but you can call me Goku. I like food and fighting strong people. My hobbies are training, reading, and practicing Medical Ninjutsu with my mom and older sister. What I dislike are Grapes and people who bully the weak? My dream is to help bring peace to this world and become Hokage, and to surpass the First and Second Hokages.

Sakura: Why the First and Second Hokages?

Goku: To me, they are the greatest Hokages to that ever lived. On the one hand, you got one of the founders of the Hidden Leaf Village, and on the other hand, you got the one who helped create what the village is today.

Naruto: So you want to be Hokage too. You are going to have to go through me to become Hokage.

Goku "serious": Well, you better get stronger because as you are right now, you won't be challenging for me.

Kakashi: Ok, let's not waste more time and head out.

Naruto: All right! We're off.

Sakura: Why are you so excited.

Naruto: You see, I've never left the village before.

Tazuna and Team 7 would start walking during the trip. Sakura would ask Tazuna if the Land of Waves had any ninjas. But Kakashi would answer her, letting her know.

Kakashi: No, there aren't Ninjas in the Land of the Waves. But in other nations, while cultures and customs are different, hidden villages exist, and there are Ninjas. To the many nations on the continent, the existence of Shinobi Villages is a measure of the nation's military strength. In other words, that is how these nations maintain their relationships with neighboring nations.

Even so, the villages are not under the control of the nations. They are equal in rank. On a small island like the Land of the Waves, where it is difficult to be influenced by other nations, there is no need for a Shinobi village. Among the respective nations that possess a Shinobi Village, the five nations of "Fire," "Water," "Lightning," "Wind," and "Earth," due to their large territory and immeasurable power, are called the "Five Great Nations."

The Village Hidden in the Leaves of the Land of Fire, the Village Hidden in the Mist of the Land of Water, the Village Hidden in the Clouds of the Land of Lightning, the Village Hidden in the Sand of the Land of Wind, the Village Hidden in the Rocks of the Land of Earth. Only the leaders of these Hidden Villages are allowed to have the name of Kage, the Shadow.

The "Hokage" (Fire shadow)," "Mizukage" (Water Shadow), "Raikage" (Lightning Shadow), "Kazekage" (Wind Shadow), "Tsuchikage" (Earth Shadow),

the so-called Five Kage (shadows) reign supreme over the tens of thousands of Ninjas in each nation.

Goku: Naruto Sakura, you guys just doubted Lord Hokage right now, didn't you. Hahaha.

Both stop and shake their heads, saying they wouldn't dare to doubt the 3rd Hokage. Goku would slow down his steps and fall back to where Kakashi was.

Goku: So we meet again, Kakashi sensei. It's been a while since I last saw you.

Kakashi: I'm surprised you even remember me. Even tho you never saw my face.

Sakura/Naruto: Wait, you knew sensei before.

Goku: Kinda. I met him when the 3rd Hokage came and visited my family when I was four. I remember one of his bodyguards that a dog maks and spiky white hair. Plus, I can't forget your chakra signature.

Kakashi: I was surprised when you discovered me when hiding.

Naruto: can you teach me how to sense chakra too.

Goku: No, because I don't know how I just do it.

Kakashi: So Goku, how far can you sense someone.

Goku: Last time I did it was when I was tracking my mom and sister, and they were about 34 meters away.

Kakashi: it's good to have a ninja of your skills in our team.

Everyone would continue walking for a while then Goku would notice something upfront.

Goku: Sensei, I feel two chakra signatures up ahead.

Kakashi: Ok, don't do any. Just protect the client for now.

Goku: Yes, sensei. Should I warn the others too?

Kakashi: No, I want to see what they can do.

As they continue walking, the guys pass a water puddle, then two figures jump out of it and attack Kakashi wrapping their chain around him and shredding Kakashi into pieces. Everyone was shocked at what they just were except Goku. After that, both ninjas would go after Naruto, but he was frozen in place and couldn't move at all, and one of the ninjas managed to scratch Naruto in his hand. That's when Sasuke appeared in front of Naruto and used a kunai and shuriken to trap the chain into a tree. Then Sasuke would kick both ninjas in the face sending them flying in different directions. As soon as they landed, they attacked again. One ninja went after Naruto again, the other towards the Tazuna and Sakura. Sasuke wouldn't be fast enough to get to where the client was. Goku appeared in front of them, kicking the ninja away. Kakashi would appear, catching the ninja in one hand while holding the other one in his other hand.

Kakashi: Naruto. Sorry I didn't help you right away. I didn't think you'd be incapable of moving. Anyhow, let me just say, good job, Sasuke. Guys, too, Sakura and Goku.

Naruto: I couldn't do anything. But Sasuke and Goku It was their first real battle, too, wasn't. They didn't even feel scared at all? Sasuke saved me like it was nothing and without getting any dirt on his clothes.

Sasuke: Hey, are you hurt, scaredy cat?

Naruto: Sasuke!!

Goku: I wouldn't laugh emo; that scaredy cat has more potential than you. Don't be surprised when he starts catching up to you.

Sasuke: What did you just call me. And who do you think you are. I'm an Uchiha, the most potent clan to exist.

Goku: If they are so powerful, where are they now. Ohh yeah, they are all dead—some power they had.

Kakashi: Enough, all of you. Naruto, these guys have poison on their claws. You need to take out the poison quickly. You have to open the wound and drain the poisoned blood. Don't move so much. The poison will spread. By the way, Mr. Tazuna.

Tazuna: W-What is it?

Kakashi: I have something to talk to you about. Chunin from the Village Hidden in the Mist. These guys are Ninjas known for continuing to fight no matter the sacrifice.

Ninjas: How were you able to detect our movements?

Kakashi: Goku and I could sense your chakra and killing intent for a moment.

Goku: Plus, there probably wouldn't be puddles of water on a clear day like today, when it hasn't rained for days.

After the ninjas are tied down to a tree, they confess to Kakashi, letting him know they were hired to take out the bridge builder. After Kakashi would knock them out and tell Tazuna why are they following him, Tazuna would only stay quiet for a moment. Then he would explain what was going on and that this village. That Gato and his gang took over and had left the town without money, and he could only collect enough money to pay for a C-Rank mission; that's why he had to lie.

Kakashi: This is beyond the scope of our mission. This mission is too soon for us.

Sakura: Let's give it up! We need an anesthetic to open Naruto's wound and get out the poisoned blood. We have to return to the village and take him to a doctor.

Kakashi: This sure is a burden! Since we need to treat Naruto's wound, shall we return to the village?

Naruto:Why am I so different?! Why's it always me. Damn it!

Naruto: I should be getting stronger. Here I'm steadily carrying out missions and doing special training by myself every day. I'll never get into another situation where I must be rescued. I'll never be afraid, or a be a coward. I won't lose to Sasuke or Goku. I'm going to swear on the pain in my left hand! I'll protect you, the old man, with this Kunai knife! The mission continues.

Naruto would then use the kunai to open his wound and let the blood run out.

Sakura: Naruto, what are you doing?

Goku: You idiot!! First, you need to clean the kunai, disinfect it then correctly open up your injury so you wouldn't die of blood losses.

Naruto: Don't worry I'm fine this will heal on its own.

Kakashi: It's all well and good to rid yourself of the poisoned blood, but Goku is correct any more than that and you'll bleed to death. Things will get hairy if you don't stop the bleeding quick. Seriously!

Naruto: Yikes! Argh! No! No! I can't die like this, I say! Nooo! Help me!

Goku: Show me your hand.

Sakura: Naruto! You're really self abusive, aren't you! That's masochistic!

Goku and Kakashi would look at Naruto hand and see that it's already healing by it self. Goku would only stare at Kakashi but he wouldn't say anything Goku would take out some bandages.

Naruto: Am I okay? You guys look awfully serious.

Goku: Well I got bad news and good news. Witch one do want first.

Naruto: the good news.

Goku: Well you going to be fine. You'll live.

Sakura: and the bad news.

Goku "looking seriously": Naruto I'm sorry but I'm going to have to amputate you hand.

Naruto would start screaming and yelling until he passed out from the shock of the news he got.

Kakashi: Goku I think you took it a bit too far didn't you think.

Goku: Yeah I'm sorry I didn't know he was going to react that way. I just want for him to think before he does something like stabbing him self without any knowledge of Medical Ninjutsu. He is really lucky.
