Sonic: This world has some good entertainment not gonna lie. *Flips page* The lack of magic and flux knowledge led to humans becoming weaker but their creativity remained. *Puts down a comic called jjba : part 3* Will caliburn count as a stand?

The door opens as Chaos enters with a fist sized purplish Gem but the center is no longer red but blue and pulses like a sonar

Chaos: it's done *hands the ruby to sonic* you can absorb it now.

Sonic: Absorb, am I supposed to eat a stone now ?*analysis the ruby* woh woh wait-

The ruby turns into a liquid and seeps into his body, a burning headache and pain of tearing skin filled Sonic's mind. He falls to his knees and supports himself with the chair. Knowledge enters his mind like a waterfall, hitting straight on the brain.

Sonic:s**t , what did you do to me?

Chaos: Nothing, that was merely the ruby linking with you.. through I added a bit of knowledge to help.

The pain begins lowering until it was completely gone, Sonic stood up and stares towards Chaos.

Sonic: Ki? What is this thing?

Chaos: From what I have seen in your mind, your world lacks ki while ours have low mana and high ki.there is a high chance that when the worlds are linked, both will change to produce eachother's speciality.

Sonic:*goes through the knowledge in his head* body enhancement type of energy, a stabilizer for chaos... It's weaker compared to mana, produced by living beings passively but easier to control and master.

Chaos: Should we move on to the next step or will you like to adapt a little?

Sonic: nah let's roll.*confused* why did I say that?

Both of them comes back to the surface. When they reached a good recon point, a battle was already going on.

Sonic: the other guy is gone.. that cat looks to be struggling to fight that thing alone.

Chaos: at this rate she will have retreat with others. Maybe ib-

???: huff urgh.

Sonic: caliburn! Why are you only waking up now?

Caliburn : we were connected with this universe's caliburn. camalot got destroyed by its own king... It was nightmare for us.

Oberon: Where are we? This ruined place seems unfamiliar to earth or evergreen.

Sonic: A alternate world to ours, that down there is something called a iblis, a immortal p-

Oberon: IBLIS!! Sonic we need that punk.

Sonic: eh? *completely dumbfounded* The hell you mean we need it?

Caliburn: Oberon was forged from heart of Iblis, he can eat it to reach the second stage.

Oberon: What are you waiting for? Let's feast. *Was about to fly to it*

Sonic: Wait. *Grabs Oberon from flying away* what's the point if we don't defeat it with style?* a wide smile on his face * we gonna ambush in style.

A few minutes later, the cat and the survivors had to retreat to the sewers as she alone couldn't hold back the Iblis. But just as she was about to leave, a voice startled her.

???: help *crying and sobs* waaaa.

A child was left behind when she was looking away. She dashes to save him but Iblis had already attacked. She stared in terror as the the giant lava ball hurled towards the child.

???: ZA WARDO.

The time stops as iblis and the lava ball stop midway. The cat grabbed the child and retreats in disbelief as the monstrosity is unable to move.

???: This world does have good style atleast. But *a blue crack appears behind figure* THERE IS MORE.

The cat turns around to watch as a masked figure with a coat is crouching on a lamp post.The figure jumps into the crack and appears above in the sky.

???: Hope this hurts alot you goey s**t. Bend.

Purplish energy pumps out and the surrounding air transforms into a bunch of building tall and truck wide pillars before falling like meteors. Sonic stands on the biggest one as he falls alongside the pillar.

The pillars crash down on Iblis destroying huge amounts of its hivemind cells, making it look like a jelly pierced with toothpicks as its undeveloped brain faints due to pain.

Sonic: that was good.

Chaos: *appears from his palm* Good but completely unnecessary.

Sonic: First impressions matter ok?... *Tosses oberon's pendant towards the defeated iblis* have your feast.

The purple cat sees in shock and terror as another unknown figure appears after the mephiles guy and defeats iblis. He shock tenfolds when a mere pendant gobbled up iblis like it used to devour them. The figure takes back the pendant and walks towards her.

Sonic: Hello there.

The cat: Who are you?*takes a fighting pose* I won't let you hurt an-

Sonic: A helper from another world *raises his hand for a handshake* Name is Sonic.

Through cautious, the cat had seen the figure takes down iblis for good, her chances even if she fights is negligible.

The cat: Blaze *accepts the handshake* Why help us if you don't belong to us?

Sonic: A good king helps people even if they don't serve him.

Blaze: Your royalty too?

Sonic: Huh? Now that's unexpected.. *sighs and grabs his forehead* those damn comics really are addictive... Let's talk somewhere else.

Blaze nods and leaves to herd the survivors.

Blaze: Iblis is gone but the damage still remains... Gather whatever you can and bring it to docks.

She proceeded to assign different work to everyone excluding the unable ones. Few minutes later, Sonic and blaze sit opposite each other at a refugee tent with a broken table and wobbling chairs. Blaze is sitting like a nervous customer who entered the wrong place while Sonic looks like a confident shopkeeper who will haggle you to pay double.

Blaze: There is nobody here now... I will ask again, who are you and why are you here?

I doubt a strong person like you would have come here from another world to just help us.

Sonic: *removes his mask* I got cau-

Blaze lunges, her hands already gathering fire and with no hesitation as she decides to fight to the death.

Sonic: *side steps and grabs her neck* What do you think you're doing?

Blaze: *in a chocking voice* I will not hear a word from the reason for our disaster.

After a min Sonic finally let's go of her neck as she falls to the ground gasping for air, she glares at him like a beast with pure rage and hatred boiling like a gushing volcano.

Sonic: *mocks her*Is that how you show respect in your family or just you?

Blaze again lunges despite knowing the futility of her actions, the deep hatred towards the Iblis and the one who released it clouds her logic. Sonic kicks her straight in the abdomen before grabbing her tails and slamming her onto the ground.

Sonic: Last chance.. do it again and you will die.

Blaze: I won't forgive you.. you are our enemy. *Coughs some blood*

Sonic: *crouches beside her* Listen girl, i am not even of this world so what did I do to deserve such hatred?

Sonic's words shifted her focus to not of this world and made her realise that she had her anger control her. Sonic grabbed her arm and lifted her up before helping her sit on the chair.

Sonic: Now tell me why you are attacking me ?

Blaze: a person named mephiles... He showed us your face and told us you were the one who released the Iblis.

Sonic: *confused* Huh?
