Soul Land:The Dragon King's God of Nature

Chapter 317: Chapter 317: A Tricky Situation!

The sudden appearance of the amber figure shifted the dynamics on the arena.

Su Mu immediately realized that this amber figure was undoubtedly Mo Hentian's doppelganger. However, he couldn't fathom how Mo Hentian had managed to create a clone capable of synchronizing with his own actions, nor did he know the extent of feedback this doppelganger could achieve.

Still, he remained vigilant, watching the amber figure closely.

Su Mu's guess was correct—the amber figure was indeed Mo Hentian's doppelganger. As for how she had created it, the credit went to her Soul Bone.

Heavenly Fox Illusory Transformation, the Soul Bone Skill of the 90,000-year Heavenly Fox King's skull, conjured an illusory doppelganger with 90% of the original's capabilities. This doppelganger could perfectly mirror all actions of the original, including Soul Skills. However, while the Heavenly Fox Illusory was active, the Soul Power consumed by the Soul Master when using Soul Skills increased by 1.5 times.

Additionally, the Heavenly Fox Illusory Transformation had the ability to disguise appearances and conceal auras—Mo Hentian had used it to disguise herself as a man in the past.

A Soul Skill with such unique effects could be considered one of Mo Hentian's trump cards. The 90,000-year Heavenly Fox King Soul Bone was, after all, an heirloom of the Mo family.

"Come on!" Mo Hentian muttered under her breath before immediately breaking into a sprint. The Heavenly Fox Illusory instantly replicated her movement, charging toward Su Mu in perfect sync.

Being a special energy construct, the Slowdown Aura had no effect on the Heavenly Fox Illusory.

Su Mu was inwardly shocked but swiftly retreated. Yet the doppelganger pursued relentlessly, closing the distance with alarming speed.

Meanwhile, Mo Hentian, still shifting in place, activated a black Soul Ring behind her. The Heavenly Fox Illusory mirrored the action, its replica of the Sky-Hate Hammer swirling with dark golden energy before swinging in a graceful arc, smashing toward Su Mu with tremendous force.

Su Mu sensed the danger and spun around just in time to see the massive hammer descending upon him. His five tails bristled in alarm, but he wasted no time—his third Soul Ring flashed, and an emerald-green halo instantly expanded around him.

In the blink of an eye, the world seemed to flip upside down. The amber hammer, which had been mere inches away, suddenly appeared at the farthest possible distance from Su Mu—an utterly bizarre sight. But from outside the arena, it was clear that the hammer hadn't moved; Su Mu's own position had shifted.

Third Soul Skill: Reversal Aura.

This was a Soul Skill that could manipulate both the opponent and the user. When used on an enemy, it acted as a Repulsion Aura, but when applied to oneself, it became the true Reversal Aura. With this reversal, Su Mu effortlessly dodged Mo Hentian's attack.

Mo Hentian witnessed it all, her surprise evident, but she didn't let it slow her down. The Heavenly Fox Illusory retracted the hammer's replica and lunged at Su Mu, weapon and all.

Her aura surged violently as the Sky-Hate Hammer in her grasp expanded once more—its handle stretching to two meters, its head swelling like a small mountain, completely obscuring Mo Hentian's figure.

Fourth Soul Skill: Giant Spirit Hammer!

The petite figure wielded a giant hammer twice her size with effortless ease, the stark contrast leaving the audience dumbfounded. For the first time, they realized this seemingly childish girl on stage was actually a terrifying force of violence.

As the massive hammer danced through the air, Su Mu could only retreat while waiting for an opportunity to activate his Reversal Aura again. However, Mo Hentian wouldn't give him that chance. His second Soul Ring lit up as the Heavenly Fox Phantom dashed forward, the hammer descending with terrifying air pressure.

Su Mu's eyes darkened as he stepped back, his five massive tails swiftly converging to shield him while withstanding the hammer's impact. The first strike only made his tails tremble slightly, which he dismissed. The second strike caused more violent tremors, stirring unease in his heart. By the third strike, a sharp pain shot through his tails, and his expression instantly changed.

The hammer unleashed Consecutive Tremors, delivering dozens of strikes in mere seconds. Initially, Su Mu could rely on his superior Soul Power to endure, but from the third strike onward, he realized he might have overestimated himself. Before the seventh strike landed, he immediately activated his Reversal Aura to free himself from the hammer's onslaught.

Looking at his unnaturally trembling tails, Su Mu's face turned pale with an abnormal flush of red. The calm in his eyes was replaced by anger and frustration. Only then did he realize he had been too arrogant.

Waiting Area

"Su Mu is angry. The match is about to end," Dai Yueyan remarked with a hint of concern, though his tone was firm.

Long Yue chuckled. "This little girl's strength is impressive. Truly, appearances can be deceiving! If she were two or three years older, Su Mu might have lost today. A shame!"

"Pfft, she's just a brute," Dai Yuner muttered dismissively.

As Dai Yueyan and Long Yue had predicted, Su Mu on the stage was indeed furious. His demeanor underwent a dramatic transformation—the once refined young man now appeared wild and untamed. His clear eyes turned murky, filled with a bloody red glow. His five massive tails rapidly expanded, fluttering in the wind, now twice as long as before.

Mo Hentian immediately sensed danger upon witnessing Su Mu's change. Without hesitation, her Heavenly Fox Phantom returned to her body, and a crimson glow erupted from her petite frame, radiating an even more formidable aura.

Amid the bloody light, pieces of armor materialized over the girl's body, swiftly covering her entirely. It was an exceptionally complete set of armor, predominantly blood-red with deep blue accents at the joints. The chestplate resembled a nine-tailed fox, tightly securing her ample bosom. The battle skirt at her waist flowed gracefully, while her hands were encased in red gauntlets adorned with intricate engravings on the backs and wrists.

This was an almost fully formed One-Word Battle Armor—only the helmet remained incomplete.

Clad in his Battle Armor, Mo Hentian looked dashing and heroic. His One-Word Battle Armor was nearly complete, missing only the helmet—similar to the others. This 90% finished armor had elevated his combat prowess to a new level, rendering the dual slowing halos ineffective against his movements.

Gripping his Sky-Hate Hammer, he charged toward Su Mu with long strides. At that moment, Su Mu's counterattack arrived—his five massive tails swung simultaneously, releasing five halos that shot straight at Mo Hentian.

White, multicolored, dark green, black, and gold—they looked terrifying.

Mo Hentian's eyes sharpened. Even someone as dense as him understood how dangerous these overlapping halos were. Victory hinged on this moment.

Under the tense gazes of both teams in the waiting area, Mo Hentian's body suddenly expanded—two meters, three meters, four meters, five meters! In a single step, he transformed from a young man barely 1.7 meters tall into a towering giant over five meters. Though his beauty remained, he now resembled an unassailable divine statue.

A faint dark-blue glow surrounded the enlarged Mo Hentian. The Shrek girls in the waiting area gasped in shock, but only Jing Shaoyu understood—this was the power of Mo Hentian's Titan Snow Demon right arm bone.

A 100,000-year Soul Bone Skill—Titan's Might!

The enlarged Mo Hentian, clad in Battle Armor and wielding an amplified Sky-Hate Hammer enhanced by his first and fourth Soul Skills, was a sight to behold. He completely ignored the five halos Su Mu had unleashed, his sheer size giving him an overwhelming advantage.

Without hesitation, the giant swung his hammer with devastating force toward Su Mu.

"Ah—!" Su Mu was struck almost instantly, letting out a pained cry before falling silent.

"Boom—!" The hammer smashed into the ground with a deafening impact.

"Su Mu!" Dai Yueyan shot to his feet. If Long Yue hadn't grabbed his arm, he would have rushed onto the stage.

"Calm down!" Long Yue growled. "Su Mu's fine—that kid held back at the last moment."

As Long Yue said, Mo Hentian had indeed restrained his strength. This was just a match—no need for lethal force. Besides, he hadn't actually crushed Su Mu beneath the hammer.

At the critical moment, Su Mu had activated his Reversal Halo, altering the hammer's trajectory. The colossal weapon grazed his head before slamming into the ground in front of him. The angle made it seem like he'd been pinned beneath it.

Gasping for breath, Su Mu looked disheveled. He had no idea how Mo Hentian had grown so enormous, but one thing was clear—this was the most humiliating fight of his life. A flicker of fear passed through his eyes, followed by icy resolve. Staring up at the towering Mo Hentian, he felt inexplicably disheartened. Being pushed to this point by someone five years his junior—even if he won in the end, what was the point?

Under Mo Hentian's surprised gaze, Su Mu turned to the referee and declared in a low voice, "I concede!"
