Space Marine in Star Wars

Hey all, i just had a question about how you all are feeling about the story.

Do you feel like ive strayed too far from how Astartes act? Like, i feel like Maximus and the others speak to much, and make conversation where a normal Astartes would just stay silent? Im thinking of going back to the more unfeeling and cold space marines, but im just not sure.

What are your thoughts?
