Chapter 93: Chapter 93: Urahara Kisuke, Who Doubts His Life, Is About To Be Beaten

"Hey, you're back!?"

In Urahara's shop, Urahara Kisuke sensed spiritual energy deep inside the store. He paused for a moment, then smiled and said,"If I had to guess, it's about time they returned."

Even though he lived in the human world, Urahara often stayed in contact with the Shinigami in Soul Society through secret channels.Still, the information he got was limited. But he did find out that Rukia Kuchiki was safe.

Tessai Tsukabishi looked concerned and asked,"Manager, when Mr. Nanaya and Mr. Kurosaki come back and find out the truth… won't they be mad at you?"

"Of course not!" Urahara said, fanning himself with a grin."I helped them get to the Soul Society. I'm their savior! No way they'd turn on me."

Tessai and Jinta Hanakari looked uneasy. They couldn't believe Urahara had the nerve to say that.

Even the usually quiet and kind Ururu spoke up softly,"But Manager… didn't you say before that if Miss Rukia went back to Soul Society, she would definitely…"

"Ururu," Urahara interrupted her with a smile.

"I mean… you didn't actually do anything, right?" she finished, a little scared.

Urahara nodded calmly. "Exactly."

He stretched and said cheerfully,"Well then, let's go welcome our heroes back!"

This was Urahara Kisuke—once head of the Department of Research and Development, former captain of Squad 12, and a genius from a hundred years ago.Even if Nanaya and the others had become stronger, he was confident he could handle them.

He believed in his own strength.

But as he reached the gate connecting the worlds, he suddenly froze. His eyes widened in shock as he saw what was happening.

"What the…!?"

From inside the gate, a small hand reached through.

Unohana Retsu, dressed in white and looking pale but determined, was holding tightly onto Nanaya's clothes.

"Nanaya… don't forget your promise," she said with a soft but serious tone. "We're going to fight. I'll teach you a stronger style of swordsmanship…"

On the other side, Sui-Feng had grabbed Nanaya's arm and was shouting through gritted teeth,"You brat! Get back here and give me my training dummy! I haven't even finished training him yet!"

Meanwhile, Zaraki Kenpachi had grabbed Kurosaki Ichigo's arm, yelling,"Don't you dare leave, Ichigo! Fight me again!!"

Even two little girls, not even a meter tall, were tugging at a bag full of konpeitō candy.

"This is mine! Ken-chan bought it for me!"

"No way, it's Nel's! Nel beat you, this is my prize!"

Nanaya and Ichigo both looked frustrated, their faces twitching in disbelief as they struggled to pull away from everyone holding onto them.

Finally, just before the gate closed, Yoruichi and the others came running out in a panic.

Seeing Kenpachi still chasing after them, Yoruichi kicked him and shouted,"If I'm not allowed to hit them, can I at least hit you!?"

Kenpachi nearly coughed up blood and roared,"Damn you, Nanaya! I swear I'll kill you one day!!"

Unohana and Sui-Feng were still stuck inside the gate. They clenched their fists and glared furiously at Nanaya.

"Nanaya-kun!" Unohana called out. "You can't run forever. I'm coming to the real world next time, and we will fight."

Sui-Feng added,"Lady Yoruichi, I'm coming for you! I won't let that bastard Nanaya keep training you. You belong to me—!"

(TLnote-she belongs to me)

Bang!

The gate slammed shut.

Yoruichi finally sighed in relief.

"Coming back from Soul Society is way more stressful than going there," she muttered.

Urahara, still stunned, swallowed hard and looked at Nanaya and Ichigo.

"Mr. Nanaya… Mr. Kurosaki… what exactly happened over there?"

He was sure he hadn't been mistaken.

Those two women just now—Unohana Retsu and Sui-Feng—were both captains.

One led the 4th Division.

The other, the 2nd Division.

And the man chasing them… Zaraki Kenpachi, captain of the 11th Division.

Three captains from the Seireitei had actually chased all the way here—completely ignoring their dignity.

Urahara Kisuke watched Yoruichi and the others with a confused look. Something wasn't adding up.

Nanaya, Kurosaki Ichigo, Ishida Uryu, Sado Yasutora, Inoue Orihime, Rukia Kuchiki, Shihouin Yoruichi…

He knew all of them well. Most of them had been sent to Soul Society by him.

But now, why were there Hollows with them too?

Harribel, Nel, Kadishe, Bilstein… even four Menos Grande?

The first two, Harribel and Nel, gave off a frighteningly strong spiritual pressure. It actually made Urahara feel uneasy.

Just as he was still trying to make sense of it, Kurosaki Ichigo stepped forward with a dark look on his face.

"Manager Urahara," he said through clenched teeth, grabbing Kisuke's arm. "We need to have a serious talk. In the basement."

Nanaya followed behind him, looking annoyed. "Yeah. Let's talk about the Hōgyoku. And Aizen."

Urahara's smile froze. He backed away nervously, coughing. "M-Mr. Kurosaki, what do you mean? Talk about what? I don't know anything about a Hōgyoku…"

Nanaya didn't buy it. He grabbed Urahara by the shoulders and started dragging him toward the basement.

"W-Wait, Mr. Nanaya! Calm down! What are you talking about? I don't understand—what even is a Hōgyoku!?"

Kisuke tried to break free using spiritual energy, but the moment he did—he froze in shock.

Even with his full power, he still couldn't shake off Nanaya's grip.

Nanaya's spiritual pressure was completely overpowering his.

Impossible… It's only been about a month… Kisuke started to question reality. Had he somehow been asleep for hundreds of years?

But the pressure on his shoulders felt real. This wasn't a dream.

He turned toward Yoruichi in desperation, hoping for backup.

But the black cat just rolled its eyes and jumped off Nanaya's shoulder. "You deserve it. Time for a good beating."

Left to fend for himself, Kisuke looked to Tessai for help.

Thankfully, Tessai was still loyal. He walked over like a giant, his spiritual pressure rising as he spoke with seriousness:

"Step aw—"

Before he could finish, Nanaya turned to two people. "Harribel, Nel, help me out."

"I got it, Nanaya!" Nel grinned, popping two pieces of candy in her mouth before releasing a wave of purple Reiatsu—pure Arrancar power.

Harribel crossed her arms and scowled. "You annoying idiot, don't boss me around."Still, she unleashed a strong blue Reiatsu and drew her sword, pointing it at Tessai.

Tessai froze.

The spiritual energy coming from the two women was overwhelming—easily stronger than his.

They weren't ordinary Menos—they were closer to captain level.

Feeling pressure in his chest, Tessai turned to Urahara and said, without hesitation, "Manager, I'll take care of the shop. You go… settle things downstairs."

Urahara nearly coughed up blood on the spot.

His supposedly dependable assistant had just handed over the whole business without a second thought.

But deep down, even Urahara was shocked.

These two women weren't just strong. Their spiritual energy had already surpassed the Gillian class and reached the Adjuchas—or even higher.

Two captain-level Hollow powers, openly walking through the human world.

And they even used the Shinigami's world-crossing gate to get here.

Had the Shinigami in Seireitei lost their minds? Was everything he'd planned completely off?

Aizen Sōsuke had used the incomplete Hōgyoku to fuse with a Hollow and grow stronger.

He'd defeated nearly every captain in Soul Society…

No… It can't be…

The captains… they should still be holding on…

As Kisuke's thoughts spiraled, he suddenly realized he was being carried toward the basement.

A cold sweat ran down his back. He started struggling again.

"Mr. Nanaya, Mr. Kurosaki, please calm down! I have important work to do here! Let's talk this out—"

Yoruichi stomped on the floor and pulled him the rest of the way.

"Important work!?" she said with a glare."The most important thing today… is that you take your beating!"
