SSS Ranked Reincarnation: Dark Dragon Legacy

Chapter 293: Talking to the clones

"Hey, you have to do it for me. Are they this close to replicating the blood? Then we have to move faster. I've informed Drake, and I'll inform everyone about this after the wedding.

We will be heading to the empire to start the operation. We can't waste any more time sitting around," Silva said.

"What about your brother's honeymoon? He needs time with his wife after all; we can't just take him with us," Lily said. Stay tuned to empire

"Then we won't. We need people who will actually remain here and protect the kingdom. Quin can be one of them.

But the movement must go ahead. We seriously can't waste any more time just sitting around," Silva repeated himself for emphasis.

"I understand. Well, now you should head up to the wedding at least. Remember, Bet invited her father, the emperor of the elf race, and he came. You don't want to keep him hanging now," Lily said as she walked out of the dungeon.

Silva let out a tired sigh. He created a clone, and the clone walked out to attend the wedding. "That should take care of the wedding. I, on the other hand, should really get some practice in. The stronger, the better," he said. He got up from his seat, took one last look at Raiden.

"At the bed, you had some use," Silva said and walked out. He left the dungeon area and found his way to the training area.

The area was completely empty due to the wedding that was happening. He walked to the center of the space and took out Abyssal Blade.

"I have only used the willpower of this sword for things like slashing, but it's supposed to have something called the Will Field," Silva said, recalling the skill that followed the sword when he first unlocked it.

He closed his eyes and held the sword in front of him with both hands. He concentrated his will to the max and then tried to use Will Field.

Boom! Silva felt a pulse spread out of his body in all directions. It spread out for over half a kilometer. It was like a domain, but not like a domain.

He could see everything and everyone within the range of the field. He stretched out his hand and tried to touch a jar inside the castle just based on instinct.

The jar rose up and floated in the air, following Silva's arm movement. Ecstatic to see that, he dropped the jar down and immediately took his sword.

He made a slash with the jar in mind, and the jar split in two. He was able to attack from that distance. A smile plastered Silva's face. He deactivated the field, happy with the results.

"Another trump card in the bag. This will definitely be very useful. Why didn't I use it before?" Silva said. He left the training yard and went back into the castle.

---

The whole kingdom was filled with celebration over Quin's wedding, and it lasted late into the night, from the joining of the couple to the ball that followed.

Silva's clones attended all of it, and he was already very tired. All this standing and greeting people he didn't want to meet was really eating into his energy.

The emperor of the elf race also kept trying to make conversation with him, hinting at Silva marrying Amber.

The clone soon reached his breaking point. He walked out of the hall, found a corner, and made a clone. The new clone went into the ball, while the original clone headed for Silva's room.

"Original's life is really stressful. He should be focusing more on the demon blood, Ragna, and other things of higher importance, but all these people have to drag him around in their madness.

Every time I've been summoned, I always see his people making things harder for him. I wonder how he copes. I'm ten times stronger than him, ten times smarter, yet I wasn't able to stand them," the clone complained as he walked down the hallway.

He found the stairs and went up, heading for Silva's room. He barged in without even knocking. Silva, who was seated on the bed, looked up and saw the clone.

"Aren't you supposed to be at the ball?" Silva asked.

"Yes, I am, but I don't know how you handle all this stress all the time. I stayed there, and I felt like running away. I'd rather swing a sword than be in that place.

So I made one of my clones and had that one take my place. He'll probably get tired soon and make his own clone. That place is the worst," the clone explained.

"I didn't think it would be that bad. But that's not the issue here. I have never spoken to you or any of the clones like this, just gave you orders. Why can you do that now?" Silva asked.

"We have always been able to do this, but we understood that you always thought your clones were constructs of mana that you create whenever you want. But that's not true.

The ten of us are living inside of you. From the very first day you summoned us, we have been the same. The same clones every day, learning with you, growing with you. We have never changed at all," the clone said.

"So you mean to say that you're the same clones I have used in the past? No changes?" Silva asked.

"Yes, we have been the same all along. We live in you. I'm your summoning plane," the clone said.

"My summoning plane? What's that?" Silva asked.

"Wait, what? We thought you never used it because you never wanted to. Are you telling me that you didn't know about it?" the clone asked.

"No. I would use something like that if I knew about it," Silva said.

"You are dumb at times, way too dumb. You asked for the power of summoning from the goddess. What did you think it was?" the clone asked.
