SSS Ranked Reincarnation: Dark Dragon Legacy

Chapter 307: Secrets

Silva and all the clones stayed talking about the continent, but then one of them mentioned seven continents, and like a trigger, it made Silva say:

"More than one continent, this world could have more than one continent, yet it seems like everything circles around this continent.

And it does seem to make sense why it would be that way, everything that I've known and learned seemed to be tied to this continent, but no other continent is mentioned."

After saying that, like a rushing stream, the memories of the night before flooded his mind, the discussion he had with Aaron, and the mysterious being that suddenly showed up and fought them.

The helpless feeling that washed over his body, the fear that he felt, the want to run away, all that, he recalled them as clearly as possible.

How his attacks did little to nothing, how he could not even make a full move against that creature, the first time in his life that he felt genuine fear for another creature.

He recalled how space was shifted and how the creature came, then left.

"I see, so that is what happened, that being came out and erased my memories and that of Aaron, specifically the memories of last night.

That creature didn't want us to discover something about the other continents, something is being hidden, and that creature is fighting against me knowing or anyone." Silva said, as he sat down on the ground and crossed his legs.

"So what do you do? It's not like we can fight it. For the first time, we were utterly scared of a being." A clone said.

"It's like I felt powerless, I couldn't even breathe well. When I faced the white figures of order, I didn't feel that fear, when I faced the dark figure from Ophelia that completely suppressed me, I didn't feel that way.

Against the twelve-winged weeping angel, I didn't feel that way. The heroes and the demon Kings are not even to be counted because they aren't an issue now.

Yet somehow, this figure stopped me, scared the living hell out of me." Silva said.

"Why didn't the creature attack this time, you spoke about the other continents, why didn't it come to erase your mind?" A clone asked.

"Maybe it's the summoning plane, that might be the reason why it couldn't attack." Another clone said.

"Let's not worry about that now, we will look into the issue later, for now, we can't let the others know what happened, we have to understand our standing.

But what we do know is that there's something very massive, way bigger than the demon kings, heroes, and maybe even bigger than the celestials and the demons.

And Ophelia didn't tell me, she held something back from me. I knew she had her own secrets and some things that she couldn't tell me.

But now, this is something very different and something that affects me, I need an explanation from her, one way or the other." Silva said.

_____________

Ophelia sat in a room, she picked the cup on the table and sipped from the tea. She placed the tea on the table and reclined into the chair.

The black figure walked in through the wall of the room and sat beside her, he glanced at the violence of tea, and by some mysterious means, the tea slowly emptied from the cup without him drinking it.

"That's nice." he said.

"What is it?" She asked.

"Silva had a run-in with Void." He said and dropped the cup on the table.

Immediately she heard that, she sat up quickly and faced him, "What did you say?" She asked again to confirm what he said.

"He met with Void, and you know that there is only one way that you can meet Void." He said and leaned into the chair.

"The only way to meet Void is by getting too close to the truth of the continents, a contingency that was created to ensure that no one from the continent knows about the others." She said.

"Yes, and Silva, being the over-deductive person with several minds and several clones with even more minds, couldn't let the thought rest.

But it was a normal thing for him to have the thought, but it was in the back of his head, so there was no issue. It was his friend, Aaron, who sparked the discussion.

From there the discussion spiraled out of control, and Silva's brain started deducing. And I believe that Void decided that it was too risky, and so he came and did his job.

One issue though." He said.

"What issue, Void always takes and replaces the memories of the people that he attacks." She said.

"Oh yeah, that's what he does, but Silva is not just anyone, he has eleven ten times more powerful minds, and Void does not know that.

Void used the same normal power to wipe Silva's brain, and that left fragments that could link and rebuild the memories.

Knowing your Silva, he has either fixed it or is close to doing it, and when he does, he'll know that you have hidden something from him." He said.

"I see, that's an issue, Silva will surely start researching the continents and he'll also find a way to question me.

We can't have Void wipe his memories again if he hasn't done anything wrong, that will go against order. This is really bad." She said.

"I've told you, you should have told the kid everything, hiding the truth from him is not helping at all, there is so much that he doesn't know, and if he finally finds out, he'll be shocked and might hate you." He said.

"Let it go, I'm not going to tell him, and you can't as well, we can't, it will shatter everything that we have built for so long.

I think your main issue should be negotiating with Ragna and trying to stop his stupid war, I'd hate to get involved." She said.

"Alright, see you later." He said and vanished.
