Chapter 407: Meeting Zareth again
"This is getting extremely boring, but I have to do it. Going directly to the leaders will make them see me as a threat enough. Maybe if I killed the demons faster," Silva said, and with that idea, he looked at the spirit.
"Hmm, you don't have a name, right? Well, let's call you Terra," Silva said.
"Thank you for the name, master. This one will henceforth be known as Terra," she replied to Silva.
"Good. Now, Terra, whatever attacks do you have? Wide area—let's take down the demons as fast as we can."
"Master, you are a demigod. The range of your power far outstretches the limit of this world. Simply put, these demon creatures are not a threat even in the slightest. A word from you is more than enough to eradicate them," Terra said.
"I'm with the spirit on this one, master. These demons are truly not worth your time," the sword responded.
"Sigh, I guess you are right, but let's keep doing what we are doing now. We can't be too sure. From what we know, somehow these demons evolved and were also informed about the truth of things. We can't be too careful.
That aside, Terra, please use a wide-area attack. Let's pull the leaders out whether they want it or not," Silva said.
She nodded and raised her hand into the sky. Blades of light started forming in the sky. Tens of thousands of them formed in the sky, their light causing the entire capital to be illuminated.
She waited for a few seconds after preparing the attack and then shot all the blades into the capital. The blades fell from the sky like rain. The demons tried to block the attacks, but their efforts were all futile and pointless.
The blades passed through all their defenses and hit the demons. Whichever demon was touched by the attack burst into light.
In just one attack, seventy percent of the total number of demons that were in the capital died. Silva was surprised by the effectiveness of the attack.
"If that doesn't get their attention, nothing will. Now to wait for the leaders to come to me. Maybe I'll see that female demon again. I do want to have another round with her, see the power difference now," Silva said.
And just like he predicted, a host of terrifyingly strong demons came in their direction, but Zareth was not amongst them.
"They still don't want to send their strongest. Take them out, Terra," he said. She created another wave of light blades and shot at the incoming demons. The demons tried to block and dodge, but in a few seconds, they were all decimated.
"Listen close, you filthy demons, and make sure my words reach your ears. I will not be showing mercy. If you don't send the leader that is with you now, if you keep playing these games, you will find that you are the ones that will lose it," Silva said out loud for them to hear.
He waited, and there was no response for a while. A few minutes later, he sensed her presence approaching—the one he had fought.
She landed in front of him, all her wounds from the last battle healed up like there had been none at all.
"You held back against me, I see. So this is your real strength," Zareth said.
"I didn't hold back against you. You were truly formidable, and if I had met you the way I was a few hours ago, I would have definitely died.
But there have been some changes now, and with that in mind, I want you to take a message. Tell the demon race to stop their attacks and to stop their slaughter.
The world tree no longer exists, and the only power of balance that exists now is me. And I'll make sure to bring balance to this world.
You have to tell your leaders, all of them, what I said. And if you try to fight against it, I will rip the demon race out of this continent and all the other ones as well," Silva said.
Zareth chuckled as she heard that. She took a step closer, but then a sudden force smashed against her and threw her back several meters.
"Don't think this is a joke. I will rip you into bits if you don't understand and do what I say, demon," Silva said with a cold glare.
"Hahahahaha, because you got some power, you now feel like you are a god? You can't stop us. We are in the millions. We will not stop until we rip this world and change it to meet our needs," she said in anger.
"Shut up," Silva said and shot a small ball of black flames. The fire hit her and exploded, sending her body flying through the air.
"You don't understand it. As it stands now, I can clean this world. I can rid it of all the evil that is there in only a snap. But I want to give every fucking race a goddamned chance, and that's because I want to be fair.
But so help me, if you push me, I will make sure I damage you beyond repair. So better watch your words," Silva said.
"You are not my master. I will not do anything that you have—" Before Zareth could finish her words, Silva was already in front of her, his hand placed on her mouth.
"Don't talk. That time has passed," he said. She looked at him with her eyes trembling. How did he get to her? How was he able to move that fast?
"You will do as I say. You don't have a choice," Silva said. Zareth felt her blood begin to boil—literally. She felt immense pain unlike she had ever experienced before.
The pain was too much for her. She was a warrior that loved battle and pain, yet this pain had begun driving her insane. She screamed and yelled, but Silva didn't stop.
"Will you do what I said?" Silva asked once more.
