Zheng Yu's brow remained furrowed in a frown. He finally said after a long pause, "You can have this answer if you wish, but I get to ask you a few more questions. It's a bad deal for me otherwise!"

"That's fine!" Li Hao nodded.

After some thought, Zheng Yu felt that it would be fine to share this knowledge. It would be a good development if Li Hao wished to cultivate New Martial's core origin dao. There was no future for that dao!

Even if he successfully set foot onto the core origin path, the young man wouldn't be able to walk it further because he wouldn't be able to draw on core origin energy.

If you have the ability to, you can connect to core origin dao from those places. However, you will have to expend ten to a hundred times the effort compared to connecting to the new dao!"

It's similar to the five auras of my Five Styles discipline, but also similar to Martial Uncle Hong's one sword aura becoming a myriad of auras... How do you accomplish separating and combining auras, particularly ones of different attributes?"

Ying Hongyue frowned again, not saying a word. He didn't want to answer this question.

"I'll tell you a secret if you're willing to answer me," Li Hao added. "I'll also tell Zheng Yu as well. This will fulfill the questions I owe him!"

The two blinked. What kind of secret was this that was worth such a hefty quota?

"What if we do not approve of your secret?" Ying Hongyue hesitated.

"You can ask me more so long as you aren't disproving it on purpose."

"Very well then." Ying Hongyue nodded. "It's not hard—the eight meridians cultivate together!"

"What?"

"One meridian for each cultivation method, haven't you tried that yet?" Ying Hongyue nearly rolled his eyes. "The eight bloodlines correspond to eight different dao meridians, but they all cultivate the same method! The eight meridians cultivate and comprehend dao together. They practice the same aura, but once cultivation is complete, they will be auras of different attributes..."

Li Hao blinked. Cultivate the same method? He'd set his supernatural characters to individual cultivation before, but utilized different methods for each one because of their differing attributes.

Here, Ying Hongyue was saying to cultivate one method. The attributed dao meridians were different to begin with. Once cultivation was complete, that would produce eight different auras. Was this... a variation of the Five Styles Method?

The Five Styles produced five different auras from one cultivation method.

"I see..." Li Hao murmured with regret. "I wouldn't have asked if I'd realized earlier. What a pity that my teacher is gone, he would've hit me for asking this. He probably never thought that I'd ask something like this. This is the Eight Styles Method!"

Ying Hongyue didn't say a word; what Li Hao said was true. His solution was a variation on the Five Styles Method, based off the method that Yuan Shuo had shared previously. Ying Hongyue had made a few modifications for his own use.

"As I thought... you guys really are cultivation trash," sighed the young man. "If teacher was here, none of these questions would be worth discussing! But I've forgotten this as well. I am less than teacher when it comes to cultivation potential."

The two remained quiet. Li Hao kept lamenting Yuan Shuo's death. He wouldn't go into an abrupt berserk fury, would he?

"I rarely explore the mental strength aspect of dao because I lack a strong mind! The dao meridians of my brain are almost completely untouched. But based on my theories, there might be two dimensions to the dao universe!

"One is that of unattributed and attributed dao stars, the other is of mental strength dao stars! One side is corporeal, the other side is immaterial! I control the universe of corporeal meridians, the other universe should be that of immaterial meridians!

"There is a center to the dao universe. This center is not one in a flat surface, but of the corporeal universe. While I control the corporeal universe, I wonder if there's anyone in place at the immaterial universe."

The duo's jaws dropped! Corporeal meridians? Immaterial meridians? One of the body and one of the mind?

They didn't know as much of the dao universe as Li Hao did, but the young man's words still surprised them beyond belief. How was this possible??

Then this meant there could be two masters of the dao universe? Didn't that indicate that everyone who opened their immaterial meridians or ones of mental strength stood a chance?

Even the half step emperor Zheng Yu found this incredulous. How could Li Hao just tell them such an astonishing secret?

It was impossible!

Ying Hongyue's expression flickered rapidly through various emotions. This had to be fake, would Li Hao tell someone else about this secret? No one would believe him!

"Dao meridians of mental strength are very dangerous," Li Hao said softly. "I've only discovered one to date. It will take numerous ones to access the immaterial dao universe. I think that it'll take at least ten for a good shot!

"Opening the wrong one or opening them at random will only lead to death. I rather hope you guys give it a try so you can set the precedent for me. I'd love to see you guys blow yourselves up!

"Additionally, I suspect that someone's already accessed the immaterial universe!"

"That's impossible!" Zheng Yu jerked with surprise. "Who can do that when you haven't?"

Even if the young man's words weren't true, no one would understand something about the new dao that Li Hao couldn't attain. How could anyone access the immaterial universe?

"This isn't baseless guessing! I thought you guys had opened the meridians in private, which is why I spoke of it. Is this not the case?" Li Hao frowned with new thoughts. "Take the god of prophecy, for example. His dao meridian is an immaterial type! It's one of mental strength.

"I thought I just hadn't found his personal dao star before due to the size of the universe. It's only to be expected if some remain outside of my reach.

"But..." The young man shook his head. "I quickly learned it's not that I can't find it, it's that his dao star isn't in my dimension at all! You guys didn't succeed when you guys tried resurrecting him, right?"

Ying Hongyue nodded. He and the queen had tried to revive this divine spirit, but they'd failed. They'd thought that Li Hao had completely killed the god because of their continued failure.

"I'd be delighted to see you guys revive him and want nothing more than for you to try! I might be able to lock onto his location in the process. But when you tried calling out to him and utilizing the power of faith, I noticed something wrong.

"None of the faith entered the dao universe! Or rather, none of it enteredmydimension of the dao universe! That was when my speculation formed that this being's dao star may not be within my jurisdiction. It may not even be in my dao universe, but in the other one!

"And he's not the only one! There are others that I think are the same, such as Tyrant Blade. He cultivates mental strength—a blade of mental strength! I've found the dao stars of the others in the Hao Cosmos, but not his. That's very strange. Why is his missing when everyone else's is present?

"Also, I don't know if you remember, but there are some among the divine spirits—the god of misfortune and goddess of luck—that aren't fully dead. I killed a lot of divine spirits that day. Many of their dao stars could be located with a single glance. The sun god and god of darkness were no exceptions, despite being Saints. But all of the divine spirits of the unique systems survived!"

"......" The duo's expression flickered rapidly as they thought back to past events.

The world changed and reflected certain phenomena when divine spirits died. Stronger cultivators could tell which divine spirits were dead. Those were the ones that Li Hao had shattered the dao stars of.

The gods that the young man listed did indeed seem to possess a chance of revival. Dao stars of special abilities and of mental strength remained undiscovered. One would be an exception, two would be a coincidence, three or four... was that still a coincidence?
