Chapter 12: Forever A Leader

Lucy shocked ..

Even eristok

They both can't digest that the kaizu has kept his Resignation letter infront .

"Bu..t what?" Lucy asks

Kaizu didn't speak.

Lucy gasped. "What?! You can't leave now! Universe 2 needs you!"

"I'll. And I always will be there for Universe 2"

Kaizu says

Eristok stared. Kaizu held his gaze.

Silence.

" I have works to do outside apart from leading this Federation." Kaizu adds

Literally they both can't believe.. it's too shocking for them. Then Kaizu turned and walked away.

--

And yes now it's all clear. He has planned it from the start.. that's why his tears fell when he left Galactic Federation. And leaving his friend Skye behind..

"You know what!! The power source boy has been kidnapped by Destroyer!!!"

Lucy shouts

Eristok remains silent..

Kaizu turns for a while

" Destroya?" He asks with doubtfull face.

As kaizu in these three days never read or saw the news. Just traveled without knowing anything, what's happening in the Eternity

"Sir., reject his resignation, we need him, especially in the situation like this" lucy says to eristok

Eristok remained silent

Giving a look at kaizu's eyes directly

Kaizu didn't break the eye contact, he looked at him directly. They both remained silent. Untill kaizu breaks the eye contact and begins to walk out..

The resignation letter lay heavy on Eristok's desk, its stark words echoing Kaizu's final, unreadable glance at the Galactic Federation headquarters months before. Now, Kaizu walked out of the Eternity Federation (EF) complex, a true smile touching his lips for the first time in years. It wasn't joyful, but relieved. Free.

His rounded pod detached smoothly, leaving the shimmering sprawl of the EF behind. He watched it shrink through the viewport, the same deep sorrow tightening his chest as when he'd left the Galactic Federation. As he grown in Eternity Federation and after growing took care of Galactic Federation. Both are his Home.

In the small, quiet balcony section of his pod, Kaizu stood holding a steaming cup of coffee. The air recyclers hummed softly. Outside, the infinite, star-studded darkness of space unfolded beautiful, silent, and vast. He took a slow sip, the warmth a small comfort against the cold void.

The steam curled upwards, vanishing. Kaizu's gaze remained fixed on the endless night. He spoke softly, his voice barely disturbing the quiet, words meant for ashes scattered years ago in the Magmarus catastrophe.

"Not all good things can be built gently, Dad," he murmured. "Sometimes... to truly fix something broken, to protect what matters... you have to walk a much darker path. A far worse one." The admission hung in the air, heavy with resolve and regret. He said to himself thinking about his Dad.

Kaizu isn't running away, he's stepping onto that darker path.
