Star Wizard of Constellations

Chapter 71: 71. Application for the Arrest of Rudolph

Alma and Wuchar looked at each other, their minds becoming even more confused.

Werewolves, insect plagues, and now even the wizard's treasure house has appeared. What happened to this wilderness? Why is it getting more and more chaotic?

After Rudolph and his four companions returned to the Cuckoo Tribe, the others heard that the Level 2 werewolf tribe had disappeared, and the entire Cuckoo Tribe cheered.

Elder Dujuan was already feeling better, at least he could sit down:

"Thank you very much, Patrolman Rudolph."

"I didn't do anything, I just ran around." Rudolph's face was heavy:

"Elder Dujuan, there is one thing you need to be careful about.

When we left Leman Town, there was a rumor in the town. The treasure house of the Level 3 wizard, Bloody Salem, appeared.

In the treasure house, there are magical weapons that the Level 3 wizard has collected throughout his life, each with powerful functions.

I originally thought that this was just a rumor, but now it seems that this rumor may be true."

Elder Dujuan was a little unbelievable: "The treasure house of the wizard Salem?"

Rudolph was ready to put on a full show to make a background for the magical weapons he might use in the future.

Rudolph patted his gun box gently:

"This is the magical weapon I seized yesterday. The zombies and werewolves, holding magical weapons and shooting each other, this was unthinkable before."

Elder Dujuan looked at Alma, and Alma nodded. She did see such a scene.

"Elder Dujuan, if there are any witchcraft weapons, please report them to the police station in time."

Elder Dujuan said at this time: "What if we seize those witchcraft weapons?"

Rudolph was stunned, and then said generously: "Seized? That's what you seized. I mean reporting witchcraft weapons to prevent dangerous witchcraft weapons from falling into the hands of fallen apostles."

It is impossible for you to seize witchcraft weapons, because the treasure house of Bloody Salem is in Rudolph's hands.

Elder Dujuan nodded, indicating that he understood.

"Since the level 2 werewolves in the valley have disappeared, we will go back to the police station first."

After saying goodbye to Alma and Uchar, Rudolph and Yvonne left the Dujuan tribe.

During the time when Rudolph was away, Kevin was very busy in Leman Town.

In the archives room in the second half of the night, Kevin took a flashlight and looked at Rudolph's files line by line.

The police station's dispatch list and the tasks completed by Rudolph were also taken out by Kevin one by one.

Kevin took a document and handed it to Ichabod.

"This may be where all the secrets begin."

Ichabod looked at the title of the document, "Death Penalty Result Confirmation Sheet", which introduced the burning result of the Level 3 wizard, Bloody Salem.

From the results, everything seems normal... except for the description of how well done each part of Salem was, which seems a bit weird.

"If there is a possibility that another wizard will appear in the town of Leman, it can only start from Bloody Salem.

Wizards rely more on inheritance than other apostles, and wizard apprentices can be easily identified and killed quickly. Only by following senior wizards can wizard apprentices survive rounds of witch hunting.

I don't believe that if Rudolph is a wizard, he could not have lurked so smoothly for so long, unless someone guided him.

I suspect that Rudolph is the wizard apprentice of Bloody Salem."

"It can't be just suspicion, we still need evidence." Ichabod asked directly: "What should we do?"

"Salen's body is still buried in the cemetery. Let's look for it at night and then do some divination."

Ichabod and Kevin came to the cemetery overnight. It was already 4 o'clock in the morning and there was no one in the cemetery.     They soon came to the wall of the cemetery and found some graves without tombstones. These graves were filled with offerings buried by the police station.

They dug up the graves one by one, and finally found Bloody Salem on the third try.

Bloody Salem was buried with the stake at this time, and the bones were very messy. It took them some effort to piece Bloody Salem together.

Kevin sat on the ground and began to divination, but this divination was very unsuccessful, making him sweat profusely.

Ichabod couldn't help asking, "What's wrong, Kevin?"

  "I can't even divination on Salem's body, and I can't get a clear answer."

This is very rare. Word spirits are also called fate thieves, and there are very few means to interfere with divination.

  "Is there no vague answer?"

Kevin was very confused: "There is no vague answer, and someone has covered the fate line again. It's really strange. The last time I divination on the body of the insect nest priest, I didn't get a result."

Just as the two were busy, in the gravekeeper's hut in the cemetery, Old Gray was leaning on the bed and looking at the two from the window.

Old Gray was old and woke up early. He just looked at the two witch hunters quietly.

Ichabod said regretfully: "It seems that this clue is broken. We have to find clues again."

"No!" Kevin suddenly said: "This just proves that Rudolph definitely has a deep relationship with Salem, so deep that even the Level 2 Word Spirit cannot divine any useful clues!

I think we should arrest Rudolph directly and then bring him back to the Trial Bureau. Use other methods of the Trial Bureau to confirm Rudolph's identity as a wizard.

It just so happens that I want to be a witch tester, so I will use Rudolph, a suspected wizard, to practice. How about it?"

After a little thought, Ichabod said: "It is better to tell Sheriff Claude, otherwise, things will not be easy. To arrest people from the police station, the consent of the police station is required anyway."

"Why do you need the consent of Sheriff Claude? Does the Trial Bureau need the consent of the police station to do things? We are at least a department of the same level."

  Ichabod shook his head:

"I met Sheriff Claude once at the police station in Fabro City.

Judging from the attitudes of other sheriffs towards Sheriff Claude, Claude is not an ordinary sheriff in the police station.

I heard that something happened last year. Sheriff Claude killed a level 2 werewolf and more than a dozen level 1 werewolves. This is not something an ordinary sheriff can do.

If we use force directly, I think there will be more troublesome consequences.

Besides, the police station is not a subordinate unit of the Trial Bureau. We must at least notify the police station before we can proceed, otherwise it will be very troublesome."

Kevin said puzzledly: "Could Sheriff Claude shelter a wizard?"

"He definitely won't shelter a wizard. Sheriff Claude has been a sheriff for more than ten years. Maybe, Sheriff Claude heard that Rudolph might be a wizard and will catch him himself."

The two witch hunters took the goods, and Old Gray left the cabin after a while. He stood in front of three hastily buried graves, looking at the scattered dirt on the ground, and complained:

  "These outsiders are really annoying."

The next day, Ichabod and Kevin spent the whole morning preparing an application, and came to Sheriff Claude's office at noon.

Sheriff Claude was very happy at first, he thought that the two witch hunters finally found the reason for the werewolf riot.

However, when he looked down and saw the application, his expression suddenly froze.

Application for the arrest of the suspected wizard Rudolph?
