Start as a Spiritual Planter: I Have a Game Panel

Chapter 197: Talent: B-092 Lucky Survivor, Request?

Just as Korrin was lost in thought, still catching his breath, Ram approached from behind him. Placing a firm hand on Korrin's shoulder, he spoke calmly, "You've done well, but we need to leave now."

Korrin turned to look at Ram, a faint smile forming despite his exhaustion. "Guess I bought us enough time," he said, his voice hoarse but satisfied.

With Graal and his enraged subordinates storming into the warehouse, there was no one left to notice as Ram swiftly gathered Korrin and the other Half-Drow.

Activating his ability, he transported them away to his space in an instant, leaving nothing but scorched earth and fading echoes of their escape.

Inside the warehouse, Graal's fury reached a boiling point.

His glowing eyes scanned the scene of utter devastation. The high-end lab equipment which took huge amounts of Life energy crystals was now reduced to twisted, molten metal.

Rare spiritual plants like Phantom Veil Grass and others, meticulously grown over the years, were nothing more than ash and smoke. Even the slaves he had captured were nowhere to be seen.

"Damn you, Ram!" Graal roared, his guttural voice echoing through the burning building.

His monstrous claws clenched around his heavy sword as he swung it with all his might. The massive blade carved through the air, creating powerful wind waves that should have extinguished the flames.

But to Graal's growing frustration, the flames barely wavered. The intense fire stubbornly resisted his attempts.

Panting with rage, Graal snarled, his eyes darting around for any sign of salvageable items. "Where is that bastard?" he roared.

But there is no one left inside the warehouse.

His gang members, now gathered behind him in their werewolf forms, watched helplessly, their expressions a mix of anger and unease.

Graal turned on him with a glare that silenced any further words. "Go catch those assholes immediately, I want them alive," he growled, his voice low and menacing.

"No matter where they run, no matter how far they think they can go... I will make them pay."

Back in the Sylvan Space, the serene surroundings stood in stark contrast to the chaos they had just escaped.

The half-Drows, battered and weary, began tending to their injured comrades, some using rudimentary methods, while others tapped into the wood spirit body for minor healing.

Korrin, completely drained, leaned heavily inside the Tier 4 housing plant. The faint glow of the housing plant's restorative aura enveloped him, accelerating his recuperation.

Ram took a deep breath, scanning the crowd. As he looked around, he confirmed there were no causalities among their group.

Most of the Fire Mages bore heavy injuries caused by the men in spiritual power amplification armors, but thanks to the resilience granted by their wood spirit-enhanced bodies, they had managed to cling to life.

Moving swiftly, Ram directed his focus to those in critical condition, he helped them by using his own life energy, he stabilized the worst cases, easing their pain and letting them heal slowly.

For the others, he left them to recover normally.

His attention then shifted to Nyra, who stood guard over the man in the lab coat, now bound and conscious but too terrified to act out.

Nearby, a group of unconscious children lay on the soft, mossy ground, their pale faces and shallow breaths pulling at Ram's heartstrings.

Kneeling beside the children, Ram frowned. Their conditions were different from what he'd encountered before.

While their physical wounds seemed minimal, the damage to their souls and memories was heavy.

"If it were just physical injuries, I could manage," he murmured, frustration evident in his voice. "But their souls… I'm not sure I can even begin to repair this kind of damage."

Still, he refused to give up. He began checking each child individually, channeling his life energy carefully to stabilize their fragile bodies.

A faint green glow emanated from his hands as he worked, restoring vitality and calming their feeble pulses.

One by one, their conditions showed slight improvement. Their breathing deepened, and their expressions softened, though their minds remained locked in whatever torment they had endured.

Examining them more closely, Ram realized these children were all ordinary humans or newly awakened professionals, likely aged around 15 or slightly older.

For now, he decided to prioritize their physical recovery. As he worked, he glanced back at the lab coat man.

"You'd better have answers for this," Ram muttered coldly, his voice low making the man in the white coat shiver.

While tending to the children, Ram decided to use his Spiritual Eye on the man in the lab coat, hoping to glean more information.

A translucent screen appeared in his vision, revealing the man's details.

[Toxic Resistance]: Immune to most poisons and toxins, including harmful effects of experimental potions.]

Ram frowned as he processed the information. Draylen didn't have a single combatant skill, but his expertise in alchemical engineering could explain why the Blood Hawk gang was interested in him.

He is just a Tier 2 and yet he already improved his potion making skill to Intermediate level. But since he was a middle-aged man more than 40 years old, he should be very experienced in crafting potions.

The Lucky Survivor talent stood out, hinting at how he had managed to live despite being surrounded by dangerous individuals like Graal.

Draylen squirmed under Ram's piercing gaze, sweat dripping down his temples. "I-I didn't have a choice!" he stammered, his voice trembling. "They forced me to work for them! I never wanted to hurt anyone!"

"Then can you help with the state of these children," Ram said sharply, gesturing toward the unconscious group.

Draylen swallowed hard, his eyes darting nervously between Ram and Nyra. Nyra's fiery aura flickered menacingly behind him, her piercing gaze silently urging him to cooperate.

"T-that... I only heard rumors," Draylen stammered, his voice trembling. "Among the gang members, there was talk of an antidote, made from a high-level spiritual plant called Soul Weave Lotus. They said it could cure soul injuries."

Ram's expression darkened, his gaze narrowing. "Soul Weave Lotus? Do you know where it's found or how to use it?"

Draylen shook his head quickly. "I don't know where it grows, but from what I overheard, the gang's higher-ups were hoarding it."

"They use the antidote to blackmail their buyers, demanding outrageous sums of money in exchange for it. I've never seen the plant or the antidote myself, though... so I can't say for sure if it's real or not."

Nyra stepped closer, her shadowy presence making Draylen flinch. "If you're lying to buy yourself time, you won't get a second chance," she said coldly.

Draylen raised his hands defensively, panic evident in his voice. "I swear I'm telling the truth! That's all I know! I just... I just brewed whatever they told me to. Please, you have to believe me!"

Ram stared at him for a long moment, his mind racing. If the antidote was real, it might be the children's only chance at recovery. But relying on the words of a man who worked for the Blood Hawk gang was risky.

"Fine," Ram finally said, his tone heavy. "For now, you'll stay here under close watch. If you remember anything else, anything at all, you'd better speak up. And if I find out you're lying..."

Draylen nodded frantically, his face pale. "I won't! I'll help however I can! But..."

"What?" Ram asked, his voice carrying a hint of frustration as he narrowed his eyes at the man.

Draylen hesitated for a moment, but this time, he didn't flinch. Instead, his eyes burned with a sudden stubbornness as he gathered his courage.

He looked around the Sylvan Space, fully aware there was no escape, and then he pleaded.

"Can you help find my daughter?" Draylen's voice trembled, but there was an unmistakable determination in his words. "She's the only reason I was working for the Blood Hawk gang."

Ram's expression hardened, but before he could respond, Draylen continued, desperation bleeding into his tone.

"Since they won't find my body in the warehouse, they'll think I betrayed them or burnt to ashes."

"Since they have no use for me, they might do something to her. Please… if you can, rescue her. She's innocent—she had no part in this."

Ram stared at him for a long moment, weighing his options. He could sense the genuine fear and love behind Draylen's plea.

"Do you know where they're holding her?" Nyra stepped closer and asked him; her voice low but firm.

Draylen shook his head with some frustration. "This I don't know, but if my guess is correct, they kept her in a safe house near the gang's main base. It's heavily guarded."

Ram closed his eyes, exhaling deeply. The situation was growing more complicated by the minute. But leaving an innocent girl to suffer under the gang's control wasn't an option he could stomach.

Opening his eyes, Ram finally spoke. "We'll see what we can do. But if I find out you're lying about this..."

"I swear I'm not!" Draylen interrupted, his voice rising with urgency. "Just please, don't let them hurt her."

Ram nodded curtly. "For now, focus on helping these children recover. If we're risking our lives for your daughter, you'd better make yourself useful."

Draylen bowed his head deeply, tears forming in his eyes. "Thank you... thank you."

As Ram turned away, his mind was already racing with new plans.
