------------------------
Outside Konoha, on a park bench, Nian, Kirito, and Orochimaru were resting after training.
Suddenly, a hurried figure ran from a distance, leaping a few times before stopping in front of the bench.
"Kirito, what are you still doing here? Your sister is looking for you!"
"My sister is looking for me?" Kirito pointed at himself, puzzled.
The person in front was a member of the security team that Kirito had seen a few times before, but he found it strange. No matter how busy she was, his sister wouldn't use the security team's resources for personal errands, especially not for something minor like looking for him.
"Yes, it's urgent," the security team member said.
"If that's the case, let us accompany you," Nian said as he stood up first.
The security team member suddenly raised his hand, "Wait, Captain Naori specifically said to only bring Kirito."
A hint of skepticism flashed in Orochimaru's vertical pupils as he also stood up, "Given our relationship with Naori-nee, she wouldn't mind if we all went."
"Well… it seems like she wants to have some kind of secret talk between siblings; anyway, she mentioned that Kirito should go alone," the security team member scratched his head, stammering.
"Um…" The three exchanged glances and saw the hesitation in each other's eyes.
Kirito blinked, "If that's the case, then I'll go with you."
Nian and Orochimaru received his signaling gaze and silently sat back down on the bench.
"Then follow me, and don't keep Captain Naori waiting." The security team member sighed in relief and led Kirito away, heading towards the Uchiha Clan Compound.
The two traversed the shaded pathway, moving through layers of trees, with the scenery flying by on both sides, soon stopping at a clearing.
Kirito slightly lifted his head and indeed spotted a familiar figure with flowing purple hair beside a large rock.
"Sister, you're looking for me?" Kirito walked over, casually asking.
Naori turned around, her smile radiant, "Yes, this matter requires you."
"Sister, why have you become so distant? Just tell me what you want directly!"
Kirito chuckled, opening his arms to rush over and hug his sister's arm.
"Honestly…"
Suddenly, a sharper light flashed in his eyes. Grabbing his sister's sleeve, a kunai swiftly sliced upward!
In a panic, Naori had no time to dodge and could only lean back as far as she could. There was a tearing sound as his action split her sleeve, leaving a deep gash that drew blood.
"Damn it, you little brat!" Naori clutched her arm, blood dripping down, and her delicate, gentle face turned fierce. "How did you discover my identity!"
"I never call her 'sister,' and she wouldn't allow me to act too intimate with her."
Kirito spoke expressionlessly, his eyes shadowed with rage, "And… you're not allowed to speak to me with her face!"
With his black hair flowing, revealing a pair of furious eyes, he swung his arm fiercely, sending dozens of shurikens forming a sharp net toward "Naori."
With a loud bang, "Naori" transformed amidst the dispersing white smoke into a grim-looking middle-aged man. He wielded kunai, intercepting the shuriken amidst the clinking sounds, and quickly retreated more than ten meters.
"Uchiha Taki?"
Kirito furrowed his brow, but the anger in his eyes didn't diminish in the slightest.
"I planned to take you out directly, but I didn't expect you to be so cautious, little brat. Then I guess... it's time to stretch my muscles a bit." Uchiha Taki rolled up his sleeves, shaking his wrist to flick off the blood on his arm.
"I suppose my presence here isn't necessary anymore?" the security team member suddenly spoke.
Uchiha Taki waved his hand, "Leave. This matter is known to heaven and earth, and you know it."
"What about him…" The security team member hesitated, glancing at Kirito.
"Don't worry; he'll be dead soon enough." Taki let out a sinister laugh.
"My sister, Uchiha Hana, you'll let her go, right…" the security team member said tentatively, sounding timid.
"Tomorrow night at midnight, behind the shrine, bring her," Taki replied impatiently.
"Understood!" The security team member sighed with relief, but as he met Kirito's gaze, he averted his eyes, not even saying "sorry," and hurriedly left.
Kirito's voice lowered, coldly stating, "If I were you, I'd leave him here until he kills me before releasing his sister. After all, you're already a scum, what's the harm in being a little more despicable?"
"Oh?" Taki took a bit of interest, "I didn't expect you to be so different from your self-righteous sister. Is your whole family this deep-minded?"
"Shut up! Don't insult my sister!" Kirito yelled, his grip on the kunai tightening, revealing bulging veins as he activated the Body Flicker Technique.
With a clang, sparks flew.
Taki quickly blocked his attack with his blade, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "The reason I'm not doing this is simply because… you're too weak."
He executed a swift kick toward Kirito's abdomen. Kirito immediately raised his arm to block it. Though he deflected it in time, he was still sent flying back.
"Conceited fool, no wonder you lost to Naka." Kirito rolled a few times to reduce the impact, rubbed his aching arm, and slowly got to his feet.
Taki's body trembled, instinctively activating his Sharingan, "What did you just say!"
"I said, you're just an arrogant pig." Kirito laughed lightly. Just then, two figures seemed to descend like divine soldiers, landing beside Kirito.
Orochimaru's voice sounded hoarse, "We've called for help; they'll arrive here soon."
"Before that, we won't let you succeed." Nian flexed his wrist.
Kirito drew his short sword, "Brothers, you know how to deal with the Sharingan, right?"
"Got it! Don't look into his eyes!" Orochimaru licked his lips.
"Let's go all out!"
"Oh!"
The three of them charged simultaneously, attacking from three directions.
"Brat! Don't look down on others!"
Taki shouted angrily, quickly forming hand seals. "Fire Release: Blazing Meteor!"
He unleashed a barrage of fireballs trailing long tails, like a rapid-fire cannon. The three figures darted away, evading the attack, but the flaming projectiles struck the ground violently, severing and igniting large trees.
Although the three evaded the flames, Taki had regained the opportunity to counterattack.
"Wind Release: Gale Palm!"
Orochimaru pressed his hands together, sending countless gusts spiraling out as he struck, dissipating the fireballs headed toward Kirito.
At that moment, Kirito finished his hand seals, flinging shurikens, "Fire Release: Phoenix Flower Claw Red!"
The swirling shurikens mixed with intense heat fell like blooming flowers toward Uchiha Taki.
"Is this the extent of your abilities?"
Taki clapped his hands together, fiery red flames swirled out, forming a massive tornado that melted all the shurikens into molten metal.
"Die!"
The fire tornado surged toward them. Orochimaru's eyes widened as he stepped in front of Kirito, throwing three explosive tag kunai.
"Fire Release: Explosive Tag Kunai: Shadow Clone Technique!"
A white flame spread out, and within an instant, the three kunai separated and morphed, one into three, and three into nine, surging forward and colliding with the fire tornado, causing a tremendous explosion.
A violent wind erupted, tearing the fire tornado apart, sending countless flames shooting in all directions. Kirito pulled Orochimaru's body close, trying to shield him from the flames.
"Idiot!" Orochimaru gritted his teeth and formed hand signs, using his still-rough Earth Release. A wall of earth erupted from the ground.
"Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall!"
The fiery waves surged, casting the world beyond the wall in crimson. Under the heat and impact, the earthen wall quickly cracked and collapsed.
This technique was incredibly powerful, surpassing their ability to cope.
At a crucial moment, Uchiha Nian, who had been hiding and waiting for the right opportunity, sighed heavily. He rolled forward to face the two, crossing his hands before swiftly pulling apart to form the "Tiger" seal.
"Wood Release: Wood Locking Wall!"
As the dirt and stones shifted, crimson wooden pillars shot up, creating a solid arch that firmly stood before the three just as the flames charged toward them.
The flames scattered like raindrops, but the trio behind the wooden barrier emerged unscathed, with the fire upon the wood slowly extinguishing as if absorbed by the timber.
"What!"
Taki's eyes bulged; what was he seeing?
Wood Release!?
