Chapter 1: Chapter 1
Chapter 1: Unexpected Time Travel
"Hiss~" With a severe headache, a figure sat up on the ground.
"Where is this?" The figure covered his head with one hand and looked around. It was pitch black, with only a small light emanating from ahead.
"Could it be that I was kidnapped???" he murmured in a low voice, groping around his body with his hands. Yet no injuries or bindings were found. "Strange, there seems to be nothing wrong except for a headache."
Yowen slowly stood up and walked toward the light ahead.
Looking at the electronic frame floating before him, he exclaimed, "What the hell? What the hell is this?"
The pain, coupled with the shocking scene unfolding before his eyes, made him feel as if his CPU were about to burn out.
A countdown flashed on the electronic box, and five large characters appeared above it: Countdown to Time Travel
Time travel!!!
Yowen felt his eyes growing dark, but when he saw the countdown, he forced himself to wake up again.
"Protruding!!! Didn't I just complain about never finding a job, only to have time travel arranged for me? Didn't anyone make any preparations? And what about that big truck said to be a time-traveling artifact? What about the electric shock explosion you promised?"
Looking at the one-minute countdown, he had no time to think further and quickly reviewed the content in the electronic box.

"Um? What is this?" When Yowen saw the screen, a question mark seemed to appear in his mind: ゛('◇')?
"This... has quite complete functions" ( ̄ェ ̄;) "But—what world are you sending me to??!!!!!!" (??◣ω◢)??
Seeing that the countdown was about to reach zero, he had no time to do anything before being sucked into the vortex that suddenly appeared behind him.
Time travel countdown ends
Time travel begins
"Fuck you**##**#*##*ah~" (Too much profanity was detected—has been blocked)
When he woke up again, Yowen looked at the wasteland painted before him, and a series of telegram messages flashed through his mind.
He observed the "Battle Damaged Wind" off-road pickup truck parked nearby, and noted the strange style of clothing he was wearing.
"Is this taking me to a wasteland world? The actual end of the world? The destruction of human civilization?"
He turned over and jumped off the roof of the car, then began to check himself and the items inside.
After about ten minutes of rummaging, Yowen sat in the driver's seat and started taking stock:
• A strange-looking pistol and some bullets
• A crowbar
• A steel pipe stained with blood
• Two bottles of beer of unknown brand
• A piece of bread
Looking at the items on the passenger seat, he mused, "Isn't this really the end of the world?" (?_?) He examined the dried black blood on the steel pipe, "Is this... for fighting zombies? Or are there other enemies? But from the looks of it, order must have broken down."
"But what is this?" Touching the area behind his ear, he wondered, "An interface? Or is it implanted in my body?"
It seems that the technology of this world was quite advanced before the destruction.
Glancing upward at the flat, open environment around him, Yowen subconsciously felt unsafe, so he started the pickup truck and drove toward a huge rock ahead.
"Tsk~ What are these for?" In the shadow of a hidden rock, he fiddled with the monitors in the car.
"This displays the current condition of the car?" He clicked on one of the displays showing the structure diagram of the pickup truck. Suddenly, the vehicle on the display began to decompose. Gradually, the operational status of each part of the vehicle was shown on the screen.
"Emm~ I don't understand, but these seem to be—not durable enough?" he frowned and said to himself, "Where can I find substitutes in this environment? And I don't know how to repair cars!!!"
"Hey~" Sighing, he began to call out his plug-in. Reflecting on why it took so long to start looking for it, he admitted, "I won't say it was because I was too shocked earlier and overloaded my CPU (forgot)." o( ′^`)o
"System?"
"Open personal panel?"
"Activate the plug-in?"
…
Half an hour later, Yowen called out all the names of the summoning systems from the novels in his memory, but still received no response. Thirty minutes of talking to himself gradually cracked his mentality.
"This is different from what we promised~" ヽ(`Д′)?︵ ┻━┻ ┻━┻
"Tired~ Let's destroy it." He laid down on the seat.
He closed his eyes and recalled the experiences of these two short hours.
Suddenly, a main menu appeared "in front of my eyes" out of thin air.
Stimulated by the sudden light, he began to act, but there was nothing there. Rubbing his eyes to ensure it wasn't a hallucination, he noticed that the automatic color-complementing effect caused by the sudden light was still present. "Could it be...?" After a while, he gradually calmed down and his intelligence came back online.
Slowly closing his eyes, silently contemplating the system in his mind, the main interface appeared again before him.
"So that's how it is."
Yowen opened the car door, got out, and carefully inspected the surrounding environment. After confirming that everything was normal, he returned to the car, locked the door, lay down on the seat, and reopened the system interface. "Hmm~ Where is this?" Looking at the map provided by the system (set to a 3D panoramic view with 360° perspective and a god-like view), he noted that the surroundings were desolate, with no sign of any city. "No, even if it were destroyed, there shouldn't be no trace at all?"
It seems to be a world that Yowen has never understood. Tsk~ There isn't even a world introduction. What a broken system—he complained inwardly.
"Please explore it by yourself."
!!!∑(?Д?ノ)ノ "Intelligent???"
Then, Yowen began to harass the system frantically, but it did not seem to pay attention.
Without a response, he continued to explore the system interface obediently.
"Huh~~~" A few minutes later, he opened his eyes and exhaled a long breath. His eyes regained some spirit, and reason took over again. "I almost figured it out."
The system interface was mainly divided into several major functional modules: system map, personal panel, plug-in panel, space backpack, and unactivated/unloaded modules.
"It seems that there are still functional modules that have not been turned on, and I don't know what the conditions for activating them are," he thought, one hand on the steering wheel, staring ahead blankly.
"Gurgle~Gurgle~"
His stomach growled, and coming back to his senses, he looked at the sky outside. The dim sunlight shone upon the barren land and rocks. Glancing at the time displayed on the system main interface, he noted that it was already six or seven in the afternoon. "Well~ the sun hasn't completely set yet..."
