Strike the Blood: The 4th Primogenitor

Third Person PoV

In the office of Natsuki, four people were sitting, or more accurately five.

Two Yukina's, one Asagi, one Moegi, and Natsuki herself. She was drinking tea to calm her down, finding Moegi was dangerous for her blood pressure.

Yukina was glaring at her lookalike. Who simply smiled at her in return, which infuriated Yukina even more.

Asagi was deep in thought while Moegi was busy playing games on her futuristic mobile phone.

"Minamiya-sensei, who are they?"

Yukina asked, wearing her PE uniform, as Reina was wearing her school uniform. Her spear was lying on her lap.

"Her name is Reina, as for where she is from, I can't tell you, due to some special reasons. Of course, if you figure it out on your own like Aiba then there is no problem."

"I see. And you are?"

"Moegi-chan here, Aunt!"

"What? Aunt?"

Yukina scrunched her face in disbelief; she didn't know she had extended family, but her mind reminded her that the girl had a strong resemblance to Asagi.

"Aiba-senpai, is she your sister or other relative?"

"Yes, in a way. But more importantly, why are you here, Moegi?"

"Reina will explain, I am close to winning my match here in Satisfy!"

Moegi said her concentration was on her device rather than on her mother, Asagi sighed at that and looked at Reina.

"A creature which feeds on dragon veins, made by an experiment gone wrong has escaped its facility and is hidden somewhere on Itogami Island, we are here to destroy it."

Reina explained, Yukina looked shocked at that, while Asagi and Natsuki had grim expressions, they immediately understood the threat posed by such a beast.

"So it can sink the island if left alone for a sufficient amount of time?"

Natsuki asked, her response was a quick nod from Reina.

"Also we need to kill it with one blow."

Moegi added her valuable knowledge at the end, and her match ended.

"So only Kojou or Vatler can do that?"

Asagi asked everyone present.

"Indeed Kojou-kun should be able to do it easily."

Reina said enthusiastically, while Moegi agreed with her. Asagi was nonchalant while Yukina was shocked.

'Kojou-kun? This girl is called Akatsuki-senpai by his given name. What is her relationship with senpai?'

Worse thoughts entered Yukina's mind at a quick speed, her downward spiral was stopped by Natsuki.

"Not only those two, but quite a few others also, but it's better to get Akatsuki to do it. That snake charmer will be annoying to deal with."

Everyone agreed with that unanimously.

"So where is Dad?" Moegi asked.

Asagi and Natsuki glared at Moegi while Reina sighed.

"Dad?" Yukian asked.

"She likes to tease him since she knows I am his girlfriend."

Asagi quickly salvaged the situation, Yukina's mind knew something was up but her focus was on the more pressing matter.

"Senpai should be in class."

"Indeed, he should be, so Aiba, why is he not?"

"He is outside, he sensed a magic similar to his and went to check it out. I haven't heard from him since then."

Asagi said.

"What? Senpai went alone?"

"Yes."

"But that is dangerous!"

"Yukina, Kojou is the most dangerous being on the island, the planet even, if he is out of control. He doesn't need protection."

Yukina went silent.

'When did my mission to look after him turn into protecting him?'

"We need to find him quickly."

Natsuki said that, as a spatial disturbance appeared at Saikai Academy. And the five present rushed to the source, Natsuki quickly raised a barrier to isolate it from harming the normal students.

A Dragon's roar resounded in the sealed space. And a huge dragon appeared.

"That's tiny!" Asagi exclaimed.

"Compared to senpai's familiar, that is."

Yukian added. Reina and Moegi nodded at that.

"Be careful, it can distort space to attack."

Reina warned everyone, Moegi went and stood behind Asagi.

"Why are you coming here?"

"The thing is you see, I didn't bring any of my gadgets with me, and I am not good at fighting like the others, so I am counting on you, Mom!"

"Mom?!" Yukina exclaimed, as her spear got into position.

"It's an inside joke, Yukina, don't worry!"

Asagi said as she focused on the beast above her. Yukina wanted to ask more but at that moment the dragon thrusted its tail into a whirlpool of air.

Yukina's foresight activated and she managed to dodge.

"This will be troublesome."

Reina muttered as she couldn't use her familiar, it would be like giving away her identity.

"Papa, I want choco blood flavor ice cream!"

Kojou looked in shock at Mayumi, as he didn't think anyone on the island knew that flavor even existed, even he didn't? What kind of flavors were there in the future?

"Umm, why don't you try Butterscotch? It's good, I like it too!"

"Okay, since Papa says so!"

Mayumi nodded and Kojou got her the ice cream. He looked at Keiko who was eating her chocolate chip ice cream.

He then took the two of them to somewhere less crowded so that they could eat in peace.

He quickly reached a shaded area and sat down, Mayumi sat on his lap while Keiko sat beside him.

He gently stroked both of their hair as they continued to eat. Soon they finished it.

He then looked at them and saw Keko cleaning her mouth with her handkerchief while Mayumi looked at him in waiting.

He waved his hand over her face and it reverted to its normal, clean form.

"Yeah! Papa is really cool!"

Kojou smiled at that.

"You two want something else?"

"Ballon!"

Mayumi said excitedly. Kojou looked at Keiko who said,

"A photo!"

"Sure, let's get those things!"

Kojou said as he again picked up Mayumi and took hold of Keiko's hand.

The trio quickly went and got a blue balloon, and Mayumi happily kissed Kojou's cheek after that.

Kojou, bolstered by this, quickly found a photo booth and a selfie stand and got two photos clicked in quick succession.

He gave orders to get them framed as fast as possible. He got to know they would be ready in an hour.

He told Keiko and she was patient, this led to Kojou head patting her even more.

The father and daughters spent the afternoon like that, and then the time finally came.

Kojou got the photo and gave it to Keiko, the smile on her face was enough to get him diabetes.

Finally, they got hungry and Kojou began to take them to a restaurant when five people appeared in front of him suddenly.

The dragon's tail vanished and appeared behind Asagi and was about to stab into Moegi but was stopped by Mesarthim-Adamas's diamond shields.

Moegi only looked at them in indifference, as if they brought up some bad memories for her, but soon her face went back to her laid-back expression.

After its first wave of attack was repelled the dragon roared and tried to intimidate its opponents but failed to do so.

A clone of Natsuki appeared, telling the others.

"I can't stop it from escaping, I can only hide it."

The others nodded at that, finally having enough, Yukina rushed at it, intent on ending it in one blow.

"I, Sword Shaman of the High God and priestess of the Lion, beseech thee. Dawn light of exorcism, spirit wolf of snowy mist, grant me the divine might of thy steel, that I may smite a hundred evil spirits!"

She jumped up high and thrust her spear, the dragon brought its claws to counter it and the clash occurred.

A sound of metal crashing metal sounded and to everyone's surprise, Sekkarou was the one that broke, rather than the dragon's claw.

Yukina was thrown back and landed harshly on the concrete, but before the dragon could attack her, red shields appeared and blocked its claws.

"Come, Mesarthim-Adamas!"

The sheep bleated and crashed into the dragon, its huge body threw the dragon into the air, seeing the vast difference in power, the dragon escaped.

"Nice going, Doc, Moegi!"

Reina motivated the two who had acted, the red shields were made by Moegi using a power no one here knew, even Natsuki only had some idea about it.

"Aiba takes care of the sword shaman. You two come with me, we will go find Akatsuki."

The real Natsuki appeared and ordered. But was stopped by Asagi.

"No, we all will go and find him. Maybe Kojou can repair Sekkarou."

Yukina's eyes were filled with hope at hearing this and she quickly gathered the broken shards of Sekkarou and agreed to go and find Kojou.

"Appearing like that in the middle of the road like this, what happened?"

Kojou asked. Reina and Moegi were surprised to see Mayumi and Keiko here, while Asagi and Natsuki were looking at Kojou.

One hand interlinked with Keiko, the other arm holding Mayumi, in Mayumi's hand was a blue balloon.

Keiko was holding a photo frame, Kojou's hair looked like it had been through a lot, his body posture looked like he was tired but his face was beaming with joy.

"Kojou, you are already acting like a father!"

Asagi said exasperatedly, Natsuki looked smug as if getting a sense of victory looking at Kojou like that.

Yukina was still reeling in shock, her eyes moving back and forth between Kojou and Reina.

'Are they senpai's daughters from the future? Then Reina is?!'

Yukina finally understood the origin of Moegi and Reina, her face went red. Kojou looked at her and sighed.

"You didn't tell her?"

"We didn't," Asagi replied.

"Mayumi, greet them!"

Kojou said but found that the little bundle of joy had already gone to sleep on his shoulder.

"Good afternoon, Natsuki-sensei, Doc-san and Yukina-san."

Keiko greeted the ladies. The ladies also responded in kind, they could easily guess whose child this was, only Kanon would have such a well-mannered child.

"Senpai, can you repair Sekkarou?"

Yukina asked, after suppressing her desire to ask questions about what was going on.

Kojou looked at it and used Sadalmelik-Albus, but its power was not affecting the spear.

Kojou tried again but the result remained the same. Kojou sighed before saying.

"The spear is rejecting my powers, it is made to hunt demons hence it can't be repaired by a demon."

"Is there no way?"

"If we could somehow change its nature to the demon type, then I could repair it. But then it would lose some of its powers. Of course, it would get stronger too!"

Kojou said to Yukina.

"But who can do that? Even someone could, Sekkarou is the LKO'S property, not mine. I can't alter it and normal methods won't be able to repair it."

Yukina said, at that Moegi said.

"I can change its typing to demon but after that what?"

Everyone looked at her weirdly, after all, she said she would change the full effort of a mammoth organization like it's a normal job to her.

"What? I am from the future, these things are my forte!"

"So Yukina, what is it going to be?"

Asagi asked. Yukina looked at Kojou and then at Reina and then made up her mind.

"Senpai, I need some time for this!"

"Fine, it isn't like these four would suddenly disappear, right?"

"Yes, Dad. I can choose when to return, though the limit is three days."

Moegi said with a shrug.

"Oh, that's nice!"

Kojou said, but at that moment spatial fluctuations happened again. Natsuki quickly sealed the space around them, an illusion was already cast the moment they had appeared, so it was quick.

A dragon roar resounded as everyone looked above in the sky. A dark dragon was flying and looking at them.

Its tail moved and pierced space. Everyone was about to alert Kojou but he moved even quicker.

He left Keiko's hand and dragged Moegi aside, and as he predicted, the space there was pierced by the dragon's tail.

Due to having his 3rd familiar awakened, Kojou was aware of spatial fluctuation and how to detect them.

Kojou's eyes turned red as he looked at the dragon and said.

"Do you mind? We were having a family moment here."

Al-Meissa Mercury roared as it devoured the dragon in one go, not leaving anything to even fall from the sky.
