After stabilizing his strength, he stood up to leave. When he walked out of the cave, Jeremy's gaze swept across the surroundings. He wanted to investigate this place earlier.

Jeremy used his eye ability for far sight. His pupils expanded as he surveyed the area from a distance. Not a single living activity was spotted. This forbidden area was extremely quiet.

He took out the katana and started walking toward the east. The land was flat; he could walk for a long distance to explore.

The plants covering the field were 3 ft long in size. But still, there was no sign of corrupted beast activity. Through far sight, he saw that the area behind a certain range was pure darkness.

He didn't know what it was, so he continued his walk.

After walking along the straight path, he finally reached a dead end. He stopped using the eye ability and noticed what was ahead.

It was a long, wide trench covered with bushes and dense green vegetation. He couldn't see the depth of the trench, but he had an ominous feeling.

Right across the trench was land of black soil. The darkness he had seen earlier was this land.

"Why are there corrupted beasts here?" Jeremy thought.

Boom!

The ground beneath his feet began to shake. His eyes flickered. Jeremy didn't lose his composure. He knew there must be a reason behind this.

Then he saw something happening at the trench, as if something deeply hidden was coming out.

Jeremy retreated backward. When he created a wide gap between him and the trench, something emerged from the depths.

Boom!

It was a black and red, worm-type corrupted beast. This worm beast was different from the yellow one that he had previously fought.

When the whole worm beast emerged from the trench, he noticed something serious.

This worm beast gave him a greater sense of crisis. Then his eyes flickered with understanding.

"Could it be a Tier-5 Corrupted Beast?" Jeremy thought.

Boom!

The red-black worm, over 50 ft in size, opened its razor-sharp mouth. A fierce wind blew from its mouth. In a flash, Jeremy felt the cutting blades targeting his body.

"Explosive Steps!"

Jeremy used the movement technique to gust forth with great speed. Then he evaded the incoming wind blades in the blink of an eye.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, he retreated further back. He was dumbfounded. It was the first time he had encountered a corrupted beast that could use abilities.

He had no doubts now. He was facing a Tier-5 Corrupted Worm. If he wasn't careful now, his situation could turn dangerous.

Boom!

The red-black worm moved its body to come out of the trench. It didn't want to let go of its prey. Its humongous body began to coil before sprinting toward its target.

Jeremy, who was in a dilemma, felt a sense of crisis. He immediately circulated the new starlight energy and covered the katana blade's sharp edge.

At the same time, he kept an eye on the beast's movements with his eye ability. The worm beast's enormous mouth was aimed at him. If he didn't move in time, he could be eaten whole by the worm beast.

Swoosh!

Just as the beast was a few meters away from him, his body moved. In a flash, he evaded the deadly mouth. At the same time, the katana in his hands moved.

Slice!

The blade in his hand made contact with the worm beast's scale.

Clang!

The next second, a metallic sound occurred, followed by a loud crack. The new starlight energy managed to break through the skin of the worm beast, but it didn't leave any injury.

In a flash, Jeremy crossed the beast before appearing on the other side. He saw the injured spot on the beast and understood it was not enough.

He needed to attack a few more times at the same spot. But he doubted the beast would let that happen.

Screech!

The huge worm beast made a weird noise again. Because of its massive size, it found that its prey was slippery. But it didn't stop making the sound.

Jeremy, on the other hand, was looking for a way to fight. He could leave whenever he wanted, but he wouldn't have this kind of opportunity again.

He wanted to make use of this chance. He gripped the katana tightly.

If this scene were witnessed by others, they would be shocked to the core, especially those who were still doubting the skills of Jeremy Night.

Right now, he and the beast were alone in this empty land. There were no signs of other beasts. He thought there must be a special reason behind it.

Just as he was ready to engage the beast again.

At the end of the day, he was just a Tier-2 Beast Tamer. He could use various abilities to fight, but his body was that of a Tier-2 Beast Tamer.

If he wasn't careful, his body could shatter.

His body smashed onto the ground.

A muffled grunt escaped his mouth as his whole body ached with pain. But he didn't have time to think. The Tier-5 Worm beast must be coming for him.

Jeremy got back on his feet and faced the beast again. As he had rightly guessed, the worm beast was coming toward him. The red-black worm beast didn't have eyes; otherwise, it would have used its handgun.

His whole body's senses heightened. He was using his second eye ability, which gave him transparent vision. He wanted to find the weakness of this worm beast.

The next second, he could see the internal system of the worm. It had a straight tube digestive system. If he wanted to harm it, he would have to break the outer shell, which was its skin.

But Jeremy knew how dangerous that was. Right now, his whole body ached from pain. If he took multiple hits from the Tier-5 beast, he was sure something bad would happen.

Swoosh!

He then used his movement ability before the beast could reach him. He turned around to run, wanting to widen the gap again.

Screech!

All of a sudden, there was a weird sound coming from behind. Jeremy thought it was the red-black worm beast again. He felt that this red-black worm beast was more resilient than the yellow worm beast, which had mucous liquid covering its body.

This red-black worm beast had hard scales. It was far stronger than the previous beasts. He had been running for more than a minute.

He slowly turned around to see. The next second, he was shaken to the core. The scene in front of him was nothing less than horror.

He saw four more red-black worm beasts coming out of the trench. Their humongous bodies were clearly visible from this distance. With his eyesight, he could easily identify the beasts.

Now he understood why there were no signs of other corrupted beasts. Clearly, it was the territory of the red-black worm beasts.

More than one was living in the depths of the trench. Now he had to change his plans. He wasn't going to engage in battle against all of them; it was suicidal. So he continued to use the movement ability to leave this place.

Fortunately, this time he had started to flee in advance. Otherwise, he would have received another hit from the beast.

Behind him, the five red-scaled worm beasts continued to chase down the target. They didn't want to let go of such prey. Not every day do other corrupted beasts come here.

If any such corrupted beasts appeared, they would become food for the worm beasts.

As time passed, Jeremy was able to return to the usual spot. He was close to the entrance. But he didn't know whether the red-black worm beast would continue to chase him down.

But he didn't want to take any chances. He continued his run toward the entrance.

On the other hand, the red-black worm beasts stopped after reaching the end of their territory. If they left their territory, other Tier-5 beasts could appear as well. It could lead to another territorial fight.

Jeremy Night was able to leave the forbidden area. He didn't expect the cave structure he was practicing to be so close to the trench.
