The flying car dropped them off at the outer part. Jeremy and others stepped out of the car. Charles stepped out at last and thanked the driver.

The driver then began to leave. When the flying car left. They looked at each other and began to discuss. The Sand Bloom Team's last known location was the inner part of the wilderness.

"Let's follow the popular route to the inner part. We could come across them on our way, if nothing bad had happened to them," Charles said.

Hearing that everyone agreed. Jeremy, Sinag and Ada wore their headgear. After checking everything was ready, they started their journey.

On the way, Charles starts striking conversation with everyone. Especially, he wants to know about the newcomer. But Jeremy has been giving short answers to him.

He is clearly not in the mood to chat. Because he is focusing on the wilderness. Not only were they walking along the path. He saw other mercenary teams at a distance as well.

It's hard to guess who could become your enemy. He was thinking about the Sun Wheel Organisation in his mind as well. So he had no time to pay attention to Charles.

But this attitude doesn't sit well with Charles. He was pissed off. He is someone from the 2nd Squad. He is a Tier-4 Beast Tamer. A senior to the 3rd Squad.

Yet the newcomer was not responding to him properly. He could tell that Jeremy Night didn't want to talk. But he is the one who leads the team.

A bad idea rose in Charles' heart. He thinks that if Jeremy doesn't beg him, then he won't help him. They are going to face a tough situation ahead.

He wanted to see the newcomer struggle. For a second, he forgot that Jeremy Night could be Tier-4 Corrupted Beasts.

Their appearance has attracted attention. The other Mercenary Team, who were coming out and going in, saw the team as well.

After recognising they were from the Shadow Moon Organisation, they reduced their hostile intentions. Since they have seen them, the discussion naturally takes place.

The rivalry between the Shadow Moon Organisation and the Sun Wheel Organisation was not secret. It's known to everyone in the city.

It's just the people with keen eyes who have spotted some information. They saw the appearance of the new beast tamer in the Shadow Moon Organisation.

Those who were in touch with other Mercenary Organisations knew that it was normal for the organisations to target each other in the wilderness.

So they have decided to sell the information for the money.

It didn't take long for them to spread the information. Soon, someone from the Sun Wheel Organisation saw the message. They were shocked.

They quickly informed their higher-ups. After knowing that their rival organisation has sent a team for the mission. They have decided to send one of their 3rd Squad team as well.

Because their 1st and 2nd Squads have gone out on the missions. And as per the information, the enemy's 3rd Squad Team has only one Tier-4 Beast Tamer. Two Tier-3 Beast Tamers and one newcomer.

The newcomer's information was unclear. But according to the eyewitnesses, the newcomer is a Tier-2 Beast Tamer.

Their one 3rd Squad Team was enough to take them down.

If everyone worked together, they and their Lifeline beast could take down the single Tier-4 Beast Tamer.

The Sun Wheel Organisation immediately sent out one of their 3rd Squad Teams. There are 10 members in the squad. It was a bit overkill for the enemy.

But they don't care. They wanted the result.

Charles and the team came across their first corrupted beasts. There were no other mercenary teams nearby. They have already parted ways and gone on different paths.

The Corrupted Beasts in front of them were a Ground Lizard. It's a Tier-3 Corrupted Beast. It was standing a few hundred metres away from them, blocking the path.

The Team paused their footsteps and looked at the corrupted beasts. Jeremy already felt unkind gazes from Charles earlier.

He knows that his attitude has pissed him off. Jeremy thinks this person must be planning to do something.

Sinag already noticed a change in Charles's attitude.

She said, "I'll take care of it."

"No, it's just a Ground Lizard. Don't waste your energy. I want two of you to remain at peak. If we encounter other troubles ahead, then both of you can act," After saying that Charles's gaze fell on Jeremy Night.

"But he can kill the beast. I heard of his record from the members. He had killed or injured a hybrid Tier-5 beast before. So he can handle the Tier-3 Ground Lizard ahead," he added.

"This?" Sinag uttered.

She clearly smelled the friction between them. Charles is causing trouble for Jeremy Night.

Ada didn't move from her spot. She wanted to witness Jeremy Night's strength as well.

On the other hand, Jeremy's heart turned cold. He was expecting this from the narrow-minded person. To be honest, he was the strongest among them.

But Charles doesn't know about it. Jeremy doesn't want to cause any scene here. Since Charles is the leader of this temporary team. Then he needed to follow his order.

"Okay," Jeremy uttered before walking towards the Ground Lizard.

He walks past Charles and others and looks at the Ground Lizard while walking. He started using his eye ability. He zoomed into the Ground Lizard.

The Ground Lizard becomes very clear in his eyes. He could spot tiny details clearly. The expression of the Ground Lizard is angry at this moment.

Then he starts using his second ability. The whole body of the ground lizard becomes transparent under its eyes. He could see the blood vessels that go to the heart.

All he needed to do was sever the blood vessels.

Charles is smirking from behind. He clearly saw that the strength of the newcomer was Tier-2.

The Ground Lizard is not an ordinary lizard. It could give a tough fight against the Elite Tier-3 Beast Tamers.

He doesn't think that a newcomer can withstand the attacks.
