Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 608: Turn Around

"You bastard…" The panther cursed him as some bullets pierced through his body. "Gah."

He spat a mouthful of blood before dropping to his knees. The damage to his body was severe. If this continued, he might die.

And Nathan didn't hesitate to leap toward him to deliver a killing blow.

He had gathered his energy on his palm, but the ox hurriedly stood in his way and smacked Nathan with the hammer. If Nathan was too focused on the panther, he wouldn't be able to dodge it.

Unfortunately, Nathan came for the panther simply to bait the ox to attack him. Right before the hammer reached him, Nathan disappeared.

Bam!

The hammer struck the wall next to them.

"!!!" The ox turned around, following Nathan's movement. But the next thing he realized, Nathan was already before his eyes.

The ox lowered its head, planning to take down Nathan with his horn. However, the weird weakening sensation occurred once again. But this time, it felt like he lost his entire left leg.

"!!!" The ox widened his eyes when he suddenly fell to the ground, unable to feel his left leg.

The next thing he saw was Nathan's devilish smile as he punched him in the face. The explosive bullet in front of his fist exploded, blasting the ox's head.

"Gah!" The ox groaned as his body fell to the side.

Their summoner was in utter shock. How did they lose to Nathan? She was a grandmaster. Although she couldn't fight, she had four familiars of the same level, each of them having more ena than Nathan.

Yet they struggled against Nathan.

The one who was shocked by this sight wasn't just her. It turned out Sonia had returned after rescuing the people in the basement.

"This is…" Sonia gasped. She noticed that one of the familiars was dying while the other two struggled against him. In addition, she didn't know why the fourth familiar remained on its summoner's side, considering they could surround Nathan.

'What is happening? Aren't they supposed to be stronger than Nathan individually? What has he done? No, the ox is significantly weaker than its full strength.

'Are they unable to bring out all their strength? How in the world did he do it? Not only did he severely restrict their strength, but he also overwhelmed them.'

Sonia couldn't find the answer. No. This scene actually reminded her of her first meeting with Nathan.

Back then, Sonia had the upper hand against Nathan. In fact, she could kill him easily.

Yet Nathan was able to persuade him and even forced Evelyn to come out. Without them realizing it, they had fallen into Nathan's trap to the point where she almost died from an arrow.

Just like their first meeting, Nathan trapped the enemy in a losing situation. Even she couldn't comprehend the entire thing. Still, she felt a bit relieved that such a person was on their side.

She couldn't imagine what would happen if Nathan were their enemy.

Sonia glanced at their summoner, wondering if she should take her out. Ambushing her should be easy. However, she didn't really want to take Nathan's enemy, considering he was the one doing all the work.

There was only one way to find out. She sneaked out of the building and checked the backside of the building. There were a lot of people walking out of the mansion. They staggered but still managed to help each other, bringing everyone out of that prison.

Far from the building, she noticed a big battle still going on. It was much more apparent when she looked at it from the top of the building. One side was covered with thick mist, while the other side had a lot of buildings crumbling to the ground. Only Neyeid's side was a bit calmer.

The most chaotic battlefield was definitely Evelyn's side. She was a world class summoner, but she didn't really summon a familiar nor use her element to leave no trace to their enemies.

As a result, she was fighting the Black Cat Organization's boss with only her martial art.

With all those familiars ganging up on him, it shouldn't really be an easy battle.

Meanwhile, the one that had the worst condition was actually Christopher. He had been the one taking care of all the people in this building, including 14 summoners and 1 grandmaster.

'I should help Christopher instead. Then I will help Nathan if we're done. This way, Nathan will be able to figure out what we should do next.' Sonia nodded and turned into the shadow once more.

"Huu…" Nathan panted a few times. Even though he managed to gain the upper hand, he had been using quite a lot of ena to have enough power to injure these people. He even utilized his new techniques to the maximum to avoid fatal injury.

Even with Anubis' Synchronization and Scale, it was still hard for Nathan to fight against three familiars stronger than him. There was still one more familiar he had to defeat before he could kill that old woman.

Nathan calmed his breath down with the new technique to maintain control over the battle.

"Oohhhh!" The ox swung his hammer in rapid succession as Nathan swiftly dodged all of them. When he wanted to slip past the ox, the panther emerged from behind and struck him.

Nathan was forced to avoid it. The ox took advantage of that opportunity to strike him from the side.

Nathan blocked it with his arm, but the pain of having his bones broken because of that attack was still annoying, even with Anubis healing it.

Hence, Nathan formed fifty bullets. He sent them in two different directions. He didn't even bother to hide it this time.

"Watch out!" The ox shouted, seeing the bullets piercing through the windows and looping around the building.

"!!!" The panther noticed his target. "Summoner!"

Their summoner, who was occupied with helping the leopard, panicked while the lion struck all the incoming bullets.

Once distracted, Nathan leaped forth, planning to pass them and head straight to their summoner.
