Chapter 613: Return
"Huu…" Neyeid took a deep breath, looking at the situation. She wondered when they were going to send the signal to retreat.
Both he and the enemy in front of him seemed to be anxious while listening to the sound of the battle. However, they had stopped hearing any noises coming from the Black Cat Organization's direction, which made them think that they had been destroyed completely.
Meanwhile, they were still stuck here, having no other choice but to fight Neyeid first.
And it was at that time that a huge wave of shadow suddenly emerged from the ground, creating a black curtain.
"!!!" Neyeid widened his eyes in shock. 'This is… Sonia's ability! That means it's time to retreat.'
"Wait!" Obviously, his opponent wouldn't allow him to escape.
However, the black curtain wasn't something Sonia used to cover their eyes. Instead, she sneaked in and enveloped Neyeid with her own layer of shadow, which effectively removed their presence.
When his opponent ripped apart the curtain together with his subordinates, Neyeid was gone.
"!!!"
…
The battle on the other front was much more stable. Even though Isabella was quite exhausted, Revon was still full of energy despite fighting two arcane level summoners at the same time.
"Hahahaha. This is good. Come on." Revon laughed despite his body getting covered with wounds.
When the two leaders wanted to attack, a man's voice suddenly echoed from afar.
"Help me!"
"!!!" The two leaders hurriedly turned around, seeing the leader of the Black Cat still alive. However, his condition was severe. He was bleeding profusely on his arm and forehead. His left arm was severed.
He rushed to them, hoping they would help.
Seeing the incoming person, Revon immediately turned around. "So, you're not dead yet? I'll kill you personally then."
"Not good. Stop!"
The two leaders swiftly moved to his side, trying to protect the Black Cat.
Revon looked like he wanted to punch him, but he abruptly shifted the direction of his punch to the ground.
Bam!
The punch kicked up the dust, covering their vision.
"Kh."
"Be careful…"
They had to be careful when dealing with them, but they suddenly noticed something. Bella had an illusion ability while the sound of the battle coming from the Black Cat had vanished.
"They—!" One of them waved his hand, blowing away all the dust, only to find everything had disappeared. Whether it was the leader of the Black Cat or Bella and Revon, they all had disappeared.
They were tricked. They rushed in panic earlier, not realizing it was a trap.
The person Sonia approached was none other than Bella. She informed her about the retreat.
Meanwhile, Revon knew that there was no way their captain would lose. Hence, he instantly saw through Bella's illusion and acted as if he had fallen for it.
They managed to trick the enemy leaders and blind them for a few seconds.
"Chase them!"
The two leaders shouted to their subordinates, not allowing them to escape.
However, it was too late.
Once they regrouped, the first thing Evelyn did was teleport the people to Neyeid's merchant group.
The kidnapped people were confused.
"Where are we?"
"What happened?"
Bella hurriedly used her illusion to put them into sleep. Meanwhile, Evelyn gave Neyeid a new task. "Take care of them. For now, feed them and let them rest. We'll go over the details once we're done with our operation."
Neyeid raised his eyebrows. Accepting the order meant Neyeid had to drop out from the next battle. In fact, he might not even be able to leave because there was a high chance other kidnapped people would be found.
Even if they were unlucky and didn't meet anyone, Neyeid still had to delegate people to deal with the current people, which meant he couldn't join the raid on the next several bases.
"I understand." Neyeid accepted the order with no hesitation. He didn't know what was going on, but he had seen Sonia and Christopher getting recruited in the same manner.
So, he would just handle it as usual.

Nathan raised his hand. "By the way, I'll take care of their healing once we're done with this. But it's better to camouflage it with Christopher being a priest."
"That's a good idea." Bella nodded. "I have told you that your healing ability is too extraordinary, but you have been using it recklessly this whole time. It's better to hide it. And people will question you if you use healing abilities on them, considering you're going to send them to their home."
"Yeah." Nathan nodded. "It's not the time to let more people know about my affiliation with this group. It's fine if those high-ranking people are the only ones who know it."
She agreed. Christopher had a weird look since he didn't really want to get credit for someone else's good work. But it seemed he had no other choice.
Once Neyeid accepted the task, Nathan asked Anubis to heal everyone from the Sleeping Garden first. Since he didn't know how much ena they would waste for the remaining bases, he asked Neyeid to provide basic treatment and heal them once they were done.
After arranging the people, the rest of the group continued on to the next matter, which was the subjugation of all remaining bases.
Of course, Evelyn didn't forget about the promise, so she immediately sent them to the previous base to find anything useful. Then, they sent everything back to the base so that they could go through them later.
The remaining bases were much easier to deal with. Unlike the headquarters, the best they had was a single grandmaster to protect them.
With the combined effort of one world class summoner and two arcane level summoners, they were wiped out swiftly.
Then again, Evelyn didn't actively participate in the raid because she had to conserve her stamina to teleport multiple times. In addition, they actually found a lot more kidnapped people from the remaining bases, which meant teleporting more people.
Ultimately, it took them a whole night to do it. Even so, the Black Cat Organization had finally ceased to exist.
