Chapter 654: Dangerous Missions
"As for the last one…" Sera paused for a moment. "Crimson Skeleton. They are a notorious group, even in the Holy Kingdom. They're like bandits, but because they're protected by the bishop, they have become a bit too unruly.
"Still, their strength can't be underestimated. Their size is like that of a large mercenary group. Their captain and vice captain are rumored to have become grandmasters not long ago.
"There are also about a thousand people under their command. They have about 20 summoners, which is rather concerning. Do you think it's possible to defeat them?"
Flora furrowed her eyebrows. If there were indeed two grandmasters, they would definitely have a hard time. After all, while Nathan and Flora were strong, none of them were equal to a grandmaster.
Of course, Nathan had killed one grandmaster, but that was because he used such a clever trick. The Black Cat and the Crimson Skeleton had a different nature. The same trick might not work.
Hence, he had to be extra careful if they wanted to handle them.
"Hmm…" Nathan looked down, falling into deep thought.
"If it's too much, there is a saint who would definitely like to get the opportunity. By joining hands with him, you can mobilize some holy knights."
Nathan closed his eyes for a moment. "Do you know the location of the black market and everything?"
"Yes. These three targets are located in three different cities. The Black Market is in Ellenwood City."
"Do you think it's possible to work together with the mayor over there? If I can take advantage of the city's landscape, killing them will be possible." Nathan frowned.
"I'm not sure. If you're going to involve the city, won't it cause some problems for the citizens? Will they be harmed?"
"I will try to prevent such a thing as much as possible. However, if we can find them and isolate them, the damage will be minimal. Considering the nature of the Crimson Skeleton, I'm afraid they will go after the citizens if we push them into the corner."
"What are you planning to do?" Sera frowned.
"I'll just prevent them from going to the citizens. To do that, I will have to employ a bold strategy. There's a chance that the citizens will be harmed in the process, but if I succeed, we can isolate them and limit the damage only to the building." Nathan explained.
"…" She contemplated for a minute before saying, "In that case, I will talk about this with my teacher. If possible, I will ask him to write a letter to utilize the city's soldiers."
Nathan nodded.
"What kind of plan do you have? I feel like I need to prepare my heart first." Flora smiled wryly.
"You don't have to worry. Since we're going in disguise, it shouldn't be much of a problem."

"The disguise is only enough until you summon your familiars, you know? After all, they will instantly know you are Nathan, since you're the only beast summoner in this world."
Nathan chuckled. "And that's exactly what makes this perfect."
"…" Flora gulped down. She ultimately let out a sigh before agreeing, "Fine. Tell me the details later."
"Got it." Nathan turned to Sera. "Now that each group has been assigned to their respective mission, what are you going to say next, Sera?"
Sera raised two fingers. "First of all, the enemies this time are strong. We have to be extra careful. I know everyone has been working hard on their own, but grandmaster level summoners are stronger than us.
"To complete the mission, we have to accomplish our objective while ensuring our safety. The only way to do it is…" Sera pointed at her head. "We have to outsmart the enemies this time.
"Each team has their own unique strength, so we have to find a way to utilize it. That'll be the main objective of this mission.
"Last but not least, you see nothing. The same applies to everyone else."
"…" Everyone looked confused because of the last part. Nathan, on the other hand, smirked. "Corrupted saintess…"
Sera grinned. "Since they're wealthy, we should rob them and use the money to buy more cores for all of us. We see nothing. It just happens there are things people drop."
Flora blinked her eyes a few times. She knew Sera was a corrupted saintess, but she wouldn't consider such a thing in the past.
If they found anything from their enemies, they had to return it to the authorities.
However, after mingling with Nathan for a long time, she finally became the corrupted saintess in the literal sense.
Nathan closed his eyes, as the smile had yet to fade on his face. 'It seems Sera has grown a lot. She might be gullible, but she is not foolish.
'This time, she gives the general direction of the plan while letting each team take care of the details.
'In the end, the information is lacking, so she gives as much freedom as possible.
'While Selena is able to copy a few of my tricks, Sera is more similar to me. Dividing the group into two, huh? I guess I can finally entrust her with such a heavy task soon.
'Then again, looking at our group, Selena and Sera have decided their fifth familiar to be Lilith and Raphael respectively. Meanwhile, Noelle summoned hers not long ago. Once they have their fifth familiar, they might form a lifebound familiar.
'That leaves Alavenya and Flora. I guess I will use this opportunity to ask Flora about her next familiar. As for Alavenya… Has she made a decision yet? Should I give some suggestions? Or is she going to ask her father about it? Alavenya hasn't formed a lifebound familiar yet, right?
'And once we summon our next familiars and officially become a grandmaster level summoner, we will head to the front line and ask the Sword Saint about Selena's father whereabouts.
'The Divine Hand and Selena's father. These two are our main priorities right now. I also have to wait for my element.
'Things will get even more complicated in a month or two. I really need to prepare for everything this time.' Nathan's expression turned solemn.
Sera, on the other hand, clapped her hand. "Meeting adjourned."
