"Dean, clothing can't be x-rayed, no matter what the material," Keer, understanding Lin Shen's meaning, replied with a sense of helplessness.

"Why?" Lin Shen's face showed disappointment.

"This x-ray ability isn't really seeing through material, it can't actually penetrate substances. I can't really explain it in detail, but a living being's certain magnetic field affects this x-ray ability. So if it's too close to a living being, like clothes worn close to the body, you end up unable to see through. Unless, of course, the other person is dead," Keer sighed, "I'd love to be able to x-ray living people, but I truly can't do it."

"Alright, you go have your meal," Lin Shen said after asking Keer some questions, and then sent him away.

After that, Lin Shen went to Vice Director Qiao's office. Vice Dean Qiao didn't win any money, but he didn't really lose either, breaking roughly even. He felt that there was also something off with Vice Dean Qiao.

I've expanded on that bit, everything my nose has scented, I can remember each of their fragrances. A hundred or so mahjong tiles, for me, to see or not to see makes no difference." Vice Dean Qiao said with a laugh, "Dean, you know, I know, heaven and earth know, but no one else must know."

"I had a talk with them, very interesting," Lin Shen said with a smile.

"Huo is skilled, but he couldn't fool Keer and Qiao. Keer's got a brilliant mind and sharp eyes, but his EQ is a bit low. On the other hand, Qiao handles this well. He can win, but seldom takes much money. Sometimes he even loses a bit…" Vice Dean An spoke as he presented the freshly brewed tea to Lin Shen.

The more Lin Shen listened, the more surprised he became, as the only person who lost money, Vice Dean An seemed to know everything.

Lin Shen couldn't help but feel a bit sad for Huo; he thought he was fooling everyone with his seamless techniques, yet all the other players were watching him cheat without calling him out.
