Super Template System In Marvel and Beyond

Chapter 19: Hellicarrier

As Dave continued walking through the halls of the SHIELD base, he couldn't help but marvel SHIELD way of workings. The interior looked like any other high-security building: cold steel walls, sophisticated lighting, and armed personnel stationed at strategic points. Yet, there was an odd sense of detachment from the world outside, as though they were far removed from everything, which is given or how they would hide from him they are up high in Sky.

The hallways were wide and sterile, with occasional holographic displays showing encrypted data, communications, and global surveillance feeds. Agents in tactical suits moved with purpose, some carrying advanced equipment Dave had never seen before. The entire place buzzed with a quiet intensity, a well-oiled machine running under the radar.

"Quite the setup they've got here," Dave muttered to himself, his eyes darting to the walls, which seemed thicker than they needed to be for a standard base. There were no windows, no indication of where they were or what time it might be outside. The sterile, metallic ambiance and the dim lighting only added to the mystery or their wish to hide themselves.

"Where exactly are we?" Dave asked, casting a glance at Natasha, who was leading him through the labyrinth of corridors.

"SHIELD's base of operations," Natasha responded without turning back, keeping her answer vague.

Dave squinted, but shrugged, not like he can't leave a mark here. "Base of operations, huh?" His tone was skeptical as he glanced around, noticing how all external views were blocked off by heavy security measures, even in rooms that should've had windows. It was as if they were cut off from the world, floating in some unknown void.

Trish walked alongside him, her own curiosity piqued as she looked around. "It feels... strange, like we're not grounded," she whispered to Dave, glancing at the steel-enclosed corridors.

"Exactly," Dave nodded. "No windows, no sign of where we actually are. Feels like we're in a sealed box."

Diana, who had been quietly following, She wished to tell, Dave about it but she can't, as James wanted Dave away from this, 'he might get interested, If I tell him, we are in super air Craft' She thought .

"By the way, what exactly does SHIELD do?" Dave asked, glancing around before adding in a colder tone, "Aside from letting its members die?"

Natasha paused for a moment but continued walking as she replied, "James's death wasn't on us."

"SHIELD..." she began, but Dave cut her off sharply.

"As far as I know, only SHIELD could have known my father's whereabouts," Dave said, his voice low and threatening as he stepped closer to Natasha, grabbing her by the neck.

Natasha barely had time to process what had just happened. One moment, she was walking beside Dave, answering his questions, and the next, she found herself lifted off the ground, his hand gripping her neck like a vice. Dangling in the air, she gasped for breath, her eyes wide in shock.

Instinctively, Natasha tried to fight back, kicking Dave square in the face with all her strength. But to her disbelief, his head didn't even budge—her powerful strike felt like it hit solid steel. Panic briefly flashed in her eyes as she wondered, What is he?

Gasping, she struggled against his hold, but Dave's cold eyes were locked on hers, unmoved by her resistance.

The surrounding agents moved swiftly, their guns trained on Dave in an instant. Tension filled the air as their fingers hovered over the triggers. But Dave, still holding Natasha by the neck, remained completely unfazed. A dark smirk tugged at the corner of his lips as he taunted, "Keep those things up, and this meeting will end the same way as it did at Fisk Tower."

His words caused a ripple of hesitation among the agents. They all knew what had transpired at Fisk Tower—and it wasn't something any of them were eager to repeat.

"And you know how that ended," Trish added, her voice dripping with menace. As she spoke, her form began to shift. In an eerie transformation, black wings sprouted from her back, horns curved from her head, and her eyes glowed with an otherworldly intensity. Trish's devilish form—the Fallen Angel like—stood tall, casting a dark shadow over the agents.

Fear flickered in their eyes as they took in the sight of her transformation, unsure if their weapons would even make a dent against such a force. Dave glanced over at Trish, amused by the chaos she brought with her. With a chuckle, he loosened his grip on Natasha, who dropped to the ground, gasping for air.

"Let's not make this any uglier than it needs to be," Dave said, his voice calm but filled with a quiet threat. "We're not here to destroy anything... not yet, anyway."

Dave lowered himself to Natasha's level, locking eyes with her, his tone cold and unwavering. "I know all about you people, the spy stuff, the games. And that's why I'm here today—for answers. If I don't get them, every single being on this little aircraft dies."

Natasha's eyes widened in shock, clearly surprised by the level of threat he was making, so calmly like its nothing.

"What? You didn't think I'd fall for this little trick of yours?" Dave continued, brushing off her surprise. "I knew all along this is an airborne craft," he said, standing tall and adjusting his suit with a casual demeanor.

"Now, shall we proceed to your leader?" Dave added, his tone relaxed as he calmed down.

Trish, seeing the situation de-escalating, shifted back into her normal form. Natasha, though still shaken, signaled her agents to lower their weapons. She shot Dave one last uncertain look before leading them further into the facility.

Meanwhile, Maya had been holding Diana back, noticing her hesitation. "She wanted to stop you," Maya said quietly, glancing at Diana.

Diana, looking a mix of anger and hidden approval, asked Dave, "What did you just do?" There was frustration in her voice, though deep down, she seemed pleased. Inwardly, she thought, 'Now she will never join SHIELD and Dave will have no reason to be here'

Trish, observing Diana's conflicted emotions, raised an eyebrow, wondering what was going on in her mind.

Dave turned to Maya with a knowing smile. "And that might've cost you your chance with SHIELD."

Maya shrugged, unconcerned. "I'm not here to build a career, I came to atone for my mistakes. But given how you spoke about your father's death, I'm not sure I want to work for them either," she replied, her tone calm but firm.

"You don't have to do this for me," Dave said, turning his head and following after Natasha.

"I'm not doing it just for you," Maya muttered under her breath. "I know how it feels when your father dies, someone who loved you deeply, and then one day they're just gone... leaving you behind." Her words trailed off as she followed behind Dave
