Chapter 273: Fighting...Slaughtering
The arena of the Tournament of Power had turned into a storm of war cries, shockwaves, and explosions of energy. With the ticking countdown of the Grand Priest's clock hovering in the sky, time was slipping away—and so were fighters.

A swirl of pink light and sparkling auras flooded one side of the stage as Ribrianne and her squad from Universe 2 unleashed a flashy assault of "love-powered" techniques.
"Feel the strength of true beauty and romance!" Ribrianne shouted, spinning mid-air and firing a barrage of heart-shaped blasts toward Android 18.
18 frowned. "This is giving me a headache."
With ruthless precision, she dodged the blasts and kicked Ribrianne into a stone pillar, cracking it with force. Before Ribrianne could recover, 18 sent a shockwave punch that launched her out of the arena.
"Universe 2 loses one!" the Grand Priest announced.
From the sidelines, Android 17 gave a short clap. "You're getting soft."
18 rolled her eyes. "Try harder next time, show-off."

On another part of the arena, Tien and Krillin stood back-to-back, facing off against a duo of high-speed robotic fighters from Universe 3. The machines darted around, firing coordinated laser barrages.
"They're fast," Tien muttered, wiping a cut from his cheek.
"But not faster than discipline," Krillin calmly.
With a shout, Krillin opened his eyes wide and unleashed the Evil Containment Wave, temporarily disabling one of the bots as Tien launched his Tri-Beam, blasting the other into the sky and out of the ring.
"Universe 3 has lost another fighter!"

Across the arena, a brutal and elegant fight unfolded as Gohan and Piccolo exchanged strikes with Saonel and Pirina, the fused Namekians of Universe 6.
Piccolo blocked a blow with his forearm. "They've absorbed dozens of Namekians."
"They're strong," Gohan replied, his aura flaring, "but not unbeatable."
In a synchronized motion, the two mirrored each other's stances and launched a combined energy wave that shook the arena, sending the Universe 6 Namekians reeling.
But the fight wasn't over—Saonel countered with a dual-handed beam, while Pirina launched a barrage of ki blasts.
"This'll take everything we've got," Piccolo muttered.

Frieza hovered just above the surface, golden form shimmering.
Instead of rushing in, he played smart—hiding his power, waiting, watching.
When two fighters from Universe 10 were tangled with Krillin, Frieza intervened—not to help, but to swiftly knock them out and taunt, "Tch. I won't let anyone else eliminate my prey."
Krillin sighed. "Thanks, I guess?"
"Don't mistake usefulness for kindness," Frieza smirked.

Near the center of the stage, Dave—calm and unshaken—stood alone.
That was until Toppo descended with thunderous force. "You… you are not ordinary."
Dave's eyes narrowed. "Neither are you. But you're not Jiren."
Toppo roared and charged, fists glowing with justice-powered ki.
The collision between Broly (Dave) and Toppo created a crater in the arena floor. Punches echoed like thunderclaps as Dave ducked under a haymaker and delivered a devastating uppercut that sent Toppo crashing into a wall.
But Toppo rose again, blood dripping from his lip, eyes glowing with power.
Dave cracked his knuckles. "This is better."
The arena shook under the force of each punch. Toppo's fists crashed into Dave's arms like hammers against stone. Each impact released shockwaves that sent nearby fighters scrambling for cover.
But Dave didn't flinch.
He caught Toppo's wrist mid-swing.
"Is this it?" Dave asked calmly, his grip tightening.
Toppo grunted and leapt back, aura flaring. His muscles tensed, eyes glowing violet with divine fury. "You leave me no choice…"
"If I want to make user my Universe wins, you have to DIE!!!"
With a shout that shook the void, Toppo's body erupted in a vortex of purple destruction energy. His armor shattered and reformed into the mantle of a God of Destruction. The black and purple aura scorched the stone beneath him, erasing fragments of the arena with each flare.
Gasps echoed from the stands.
Even Beerus sat forward slightly.
"He's using his God of Destruction mode," Whis noted. "Not many mortals can handle that."
Dave rolled his shoulders. "Finally, something interesting."
Toppo vanished, reappearing in front of Dave with a speed that cracked the air. A Hakai orb already formed in his hand, burning with annihilation energy.
"Disappear!!" Toppo roared, slamming it down on Dave.
The explosion that followed swallowed that entire section of the arena in a sphere of destruction energy.
Silence.
Then—a breeze blew through the smoke. And when it cleared...
Dave was standing completely unscathed, his hand outstretched, having stopped the Hakai energy mid-impact. The purple flames of destruction burned in his palm for a moment—then flickered out.
Toppo's eyes widened.
"What...?!"
Dave tilted his head. "You thought that would work?"
With an explosive burst of speed, Dave vanished—and appeared behind Toppo in an instant. He drove his knee into Toppo's back, then whirled and smashed him across the arena with a clothesline that split the air.
Toppo bounced across the ground like a stone on water, skidding near the edge of the platform.
Dave walked slowly toward him, calm and unfazed. "You're strong. But strength alone isn't enough."
Toppo roared, leaping again with a barrage of destruction blasts—but Dave weaved through them without even transforming.
"I'm not even using Super Saiyan Two," Dave said coolly, appearing in front of him again—and then unleashing a barrage of punches, each one hitting like a meteor, driving Toppo deeper and deeper into the stone.
Then with a final uppercut, Dave launched Toppo into the air, and with one swift motion, hammered him out of the arena.
Toppo flew out with a scream, crashing into the void.
"Universe 11's Toppo… has been eliminated."
Even the Grand Priest looked slightly impressed.
The Zenos clapped rapidly, pointing and laughing.
"He went boom! That was awesome!"
"That was given" Beerus nodded seeing this.
Goku, fighting in the distance, paused and smiled. "He's not even using his full power yet…"
Dave then suddenly looked back as he senses someone eyes on him, turning he found Jiren looking at him.
The air itself seemed to freeze.
Dave's smile widened as he locked eyes with Jiren across the battlefield. While chaos erupted all around—blasts, clashes, and bodies flying—these two titans saw only each other.
Jiren stood still, arms folded, unmoving like a mountain. His black eyes burned with silent intensity.
Dave cracked his knuckles. "Been waiting to see what makes you special."
Then, in a single thunderous step, Dave blasted off the ground—a sonic boom rippling out in all directions as the arena cracked beneath where he stood. Fighters turned their heads, startled by the sudden shift in pressure.
