Chapter 110: The Great Event I: The Dragon Ninja Battle (Part 5)_2

In such a dim environment, finding the shadow he had transformed into only became more challenging.

In the blink of an eye, Haroldon had already surged to the rear of the strange thing, levitating from his shadow. Aiming to bisect his opponent, he slashed with the pale bone knife in his hand.

But at the same time, as if anticipating this move, the strange thing had reached back with a hand clad in Electromagnetic Pulse Gloves, blocking Haroldon's long blade with unerring precision.

Deep blue electric arcs rushed past, enveloping every corner of the glove, spreading from the fingertips, and sparking intense light with the blade, momentarily illuminating the dim movie theater.

"It actually reacted?"

Haroldon watched this scene, his gaze filled with surprise.

"You know," the strange thing taunted, "a fool named Ke Xiaomo once tried to disturb me with the same trick. So with my toes, I could guess what you were planning to do... indeed, students from the same school, eh? Even the gesture of drawing your blade and the position of your strike are exactly the same."

"Even so, our strengths are not on the same level."

Haroldon said this while powering both hands, pushing forward against the paralysis from the electromagnetic force, driving the bone knife deeper into the metal glove, which showed signs of cracking.

The strength of a Class C Superhuman and a Class E Superhuman were not on the same level; it was indeed a dimensional strike.

The strange thing knew it couldn't clash head-on, so amid the metallic wails, it released the number one Skill of the Pulse Gloves.

Succeeding that, the pattern in the palm glowed a dark blue, and immediately an electromagnetic pulse, formed from the gathered charge, shot out.

At the same moment, Magical Girl Xiaohongmao swung her Magic Wand, creating fine snowflakes along Haroldon's arms, attaching to his palms and diffusing his force.

The pulse burst directly from the palm, pouring its ferocious kinetic energy onto the pale bone knife.

The next instant, the blade's light and the electric arc collided, splashing out dazzling sparks.

Bang!

Haroldon's figure was instantly shaken back more than five meters, his feet scraping a dark trench into the ground, eventually crashing and leaping onto the wall behind him.

After all, the Electromagnetic Pulse Gloves were Class C equipment, and when fully powered, they were not to be underestimated.

Using two successive glove Skills, aided by Xiaohongmao, the strange thing barely managed to block Haroldon's strike, demonstrating the disparity between their levels.

"Oh... it seems that what's written in novels is false; overcoming higher levels isn't as easy as I thought."

The strange thing cast its eyes downward, glanced at the Pulse Gloves that were starting to crack, and murmured, "So the countdown continues... you have about eight seconds left to live, struggle if you must."

"Performing fool, I too predict... you have only a second to live."

Saying this, Haroldon kicked off against the wall behind him, using the momentum to charge forward. His blazing red figure shot toward the strange thing like a blur.

In just a fraction of a second, he thrust the tachi forward, effortlessly piercing through the strange thing's heart, then violently twisted the handle.

The blade, forged from dragon bone, whipped around inside the strange thing, obliterating its chest and heart, leaving not even fragments behind.

He had won.

Just as Haroldon confirmed this in his mind, he looked up and his face showed a shocked expression.

Even though its chest was split open, the strange thing's lips still held a sinister curve.

Its hollow eyes drooped, pityingly scrutinizing him.

"Quiz with prizes, answer one, my heart is not there;"

"Answer two, even without a heart, I can still move vivaciously."

As the strange thing mocked him, it pulled a flintlock from its bag, grasped it with its left hand, raised the silvery muzzle swiftly, and pulled the trigger aimed at Haroldon's head.

Bang!

The deafening gunshot sounded, flames bursting from the gun.

But Haroldon, quick as ever, ducked down in an instant, trying to press the knife handle downward simultaneously, intending to slash open a wound in the puppet's abdomen.

However, his plan was not successful.

This was because at that very moment, delicate snow dust shrouded Haroldon's hands, instantly weakening his grip on the handle.

Damn... it was that Magic Girl.

Haroldon's pupils shrank, and he immediately released the knife handle. His arms hung down as the gunshot missed him closely, leaving a grim mark on his wrist, accompanied by a burning trail.

Several strands of hair were singed by the discharge of the flintlock, and a harsh ringing in his ears briefly deafened him.

The next moment, before the strange thing could fire a second shot, Haroldon struck upward with one hand, hitting the left wrist and using his Inner Strength to knock the flintlock out of its grip.

Next, his other hand brushed aside the strange thing's incoming Electromagnetic Pulse Glove, then he withdrew his blade from its chest, stomped the ground, and sprang back a considerable distance.

The pirate flintlock fell from the strange thing's grasp, hitting the floor of the movie theater.

"The countdown continues, you have five seconds to live."

With this ghostly remark, the strange thing shot a web towards the ceiling, kicked off the chair beneath, and caught the web to swing toward the ceiling.

Then, it lowered its right hand and shot two more webs at the ceiling, using the web to stick the palms of both hands to the ceiling, ensuring that it wouldn't fall.
