Chapter 116: Major Event One: Battle of the Dragon Ninja (Eleven)_3

He charged forward, pressing close to the face of Magical Girl Ash.

Her pupils dilated slightly as the Magic Card she was pinching—"Random Flash"—vanished in an instant.

In its place, her figure appeared two meters behind the Calamity Dragon, dodging its pounce.

Magical Girl Ash patted her chest and let out a breath, thinking, "This thing looks so clumsy and huge, why is it so fast, even faster than those Ninjas?"

However, after crashing into an advertisement board in Wanxiang City, the dragon twisted its body fiercely, kicked off the broken sign, and lunged towards Ash again.

The speed was still shockingly fast.

But at that moment, the pitch-black Somersault Cloud shot forth, slamming into Magical Girl Ash and once again allowing her to avoid the dragon's lunge.

The Calamity Dragon missed its target and heavily crashed into the ground, shattering the fountain at Luo Dehua Plaza. It slowly rose from the ruins of the fountain, its pupils flowing with a molten lava-like color. The water cleaned the blood off its body, spreading an odor that was a mix between tobacco and blood.

On the other side, Magical Girl Ash was kneeling on Somersault Cloud, which brought her next to Black Wukong.

Bai Qiuwu frowned deeply, feeling as if his heart skipped a few beats. He turned his head and carefully checked Bai Zini's body, and after seeing she was unharmed, he breathed a sigh of relief.

"Last time, Somersault Cloud got you mad at me. This time, it saved your life. Are we even now?" Black Wukong asked after a moment of silence.

"Stinky, stinky, stinky, stinky monkey, it's good you know your place!"

Magical Girl Ash seemed to be talking tough, but in reality, her legs were soft.

She wrinkled her nose and forcefully pounded her calves before swiftly standing up from the Somersault Cloud, pushing up from Cinderella and landing her feet on the ground, her black and gray skirt rippling.

Before leaving Wanxiang City, she had already used the magic mirror to alter the details of her appearance, so she wasn't worried about being recognized.

"Is she with you?" Black Judge asked.

"No, we aren't close," Black Wukong shook his head.

"No way, would I be friends with this monkey," Magical Girl Ash also denied.

As she spoke, she looked over her shoulder at Black Judge and asked, "I'm more curious about who you are, Mr. V-mask."

"I guess I could be considered her friend?" Black Judge turned his head towards Black Wukong.

"We've only met once," Black Wukong said nonchalantly.

"Heh, hanging out with this monkey, you must be no good," Magical Girl Ash said.

Then, looking towards the distant Calamity Dragon, she frowned and asked, "So, what's the deal with this dragon?"

"There's no time to explain now, Miss Ash," Black Judge said slowly, "having an extra helper is good. But please keep your distance, and just support us with Magic Cards and long-range attacks."

As he spoke, he sighed inwardly, thinking that he still wasn't good at dealing with Magic Girls, and that he should retreat quickly after the fight was over.

Black Wukong stepped onto the Somersault Cloud again and said calmly, "I'll handle drawing its fire."

"Alright, then I'll just stay back."

Magical Girl Ash took a deep breath, her left hand pinching two cards, her right hand gripping the handle of Cinderella's umbrella, with a black Magic Book floating above her head.

On the other side, the Calamity Dragon slowly crawled out from the ruins of the fountain.

The body, cleansed by the fountain water, exuded a primordial sense of strength, fine steam seeping through the gaps in its scales, and the dark black jaw subtly twitching, producing a "click-clack" sound of teeth clashing.
