"Of course you are... wait, Thor, what's going on with you?" Marlon initially went along with Thor's words but soon realized something was wrong. Or rather, the anomaly he noticed earlier was now more pronounced!

As one of those who constructed Thor's brainwashing, Marlon was sure Thor wouldn't say such things. Even when Thor was ordered to stay behind, he wouldn't speak like this!

"What's going on with me? You all want to rule Hydra while the boss is away. Why can't I?" Thor didn't waste time. He planned to take over Hydra directly. For now, Hydra was the organization Thor was most familiar with on Earth. It was his best tool for understanding Earth!

"You? What makes you qualified to rule Hydra? Everyone here outranks you!" Marlon frowned and glared at Thor, his voice stern.

The other Hydra officers had similar expressions. Despite sensing something off about Thor, they still saw him as a lowly, brainwashed Winter Soldier!

Even if Thor could temporarily break free from brainwashing and develop ambitions, they believed they could still control him with the right keywords. Hydra's brainwashing was that powerful, and they were that confident!

"Rank? What use is rank? Can your rank help you face Hydra's strong enemies? Your strength is nothing but garbage. What right do you have to rule Hydra? Do you have even a fraction of the boss's strength?" Thor's lips curled into a sneer as he looked at the officers.

"Right! Your strength isn't enough to lead. Instead of you, Thor should lead us. His strength is far superior and more reliable in facing strong enemies!" As Thor's words echoed, loyal followers of Tohru finally stepped up.

They had hoped for Tohru's return, but seeing the situation, they realized he might never come back. They needed a temporary leader, and Thor, now strong and independent, was their opportunity!

One of them, who also knew how to control Thor's brainwashing, saw Thor's arrival as a chance. He could follow Tohru's footsteps, claiming to avenge the boss and become the new leader of Hydra. If Tohru returned, he'd step down. If not, he'd continue leading with Tohru's legacy.

"Strength? You think waking up gives you the right to act freely? A henchman is always a henchman, a slave always a slave. You don't deserve to have your own will..." Marlon sneered at Thor and the loyal follower, coldly declaring, "Asgard!"

"God of Thunder!"

"Main God Glory!"

"Ragnarok!"

As Marlon's words fell, he and others who could control Thor started shouting keywords, trying to command Thor.

"Gulp!" Some Hydra members swallowed nervously, and silence prevailed as no one dared to speak up.

"Attack! Kill him!" Just as it seemed no one would oppose, a Hydra officer, eyes glinting with defiance, pulled out a laser weapon and shouted at his subordinates while firing at Thor.

"Zing!" A bluish laser shot towards Thor, but he crackled with electricity, which burst forth.

"Zzz!" The electricity seemed to discern friend from foe, enveloping the officer and his men, killing them instantly. The others were unharmed, as if Thor's lightning was a mere illusion.

But the dead Hydra members were no illusion!

"That hammer..." A Hydra member, recognizing Mjolnir in Thor's hand, stammered, "Isn't that the hammer the invader had?"

This Hydra member had seen the base surveillance and recognized Peter Parker holding Mjolnir. Now he shouted in recognition.

"Correct. But it's my hammer, now back in my hands. It's called Mjolnir, my hammer, Thor's hammer!" Thor looked at the Hydra member and smiled. "Now, who else opposes?"

"So, you defeated the invader and avenged the boss?" The loyal Hydra member who had supported Thor asked.

"Indeed. I defeated the invader and reclaimed my hammer..." Thor nodded without hesitation.

"Leader!" The loyal member knelt, pledging allegiance to Thor.

"Leader!" One by one, more Hydra members knelt,

 swearing loyalty to Thor...
